@@funkycowie they’re creative, have phenomenal vocals and they are capable of making you FEEL a their music!!! The others are wonderful, but it isn’t just their talent, it’s how they choose to arrange things, how cohesive they are and which songs they choose as well. It’s all of it together. I love all the other groups mentioned here as well, but… PTX is magical.

I completely agree with you about the quality of their videos. They are not overly complicated, they are art. . Each one is beautifully done to showcase their amazing talent.
Their live show is phen-om-in-al!!! They are so good and really connect and appreciate their fans, and really put on a fun and amazing show! And they sound SO Amazing, just as good as their studio work and the energy is so great! Don't know how they do it. This cover is gorgeous, Goosebumps every time. My favorite band too!!! Everything they do is spectacular.

Gitana thank you. I think this is a clear view on Kirsten's voice and power. Notice the vibrato when she is singing so low that adds texture to the music, it is amazing. Also, Kevin playing the cello and beat boxing at the same time; classic and so cool.

I have been following them since The Sing Off. I finally saw them at a Christmas show in 2018. It was great! Would love to see them again. They do not come to Dallas/Fort Worth enough. Three of them grew up here.
Now that intro brought a huge smile on my face! That is exactly why Kirsten is my favorite member of PTX- when she is making surprises with her voice I like it more than any other surprises from this group. Maybe because I am Baritone and she is mezzo soprano. That outro shows that you are Pentaholic now! :D

I found my new favorite reaction heiress!! I had the pleasure of watching this group unfold into the sensation they are now from their humble start on the American TV show "The Sing Off!" as it aired. It was an Epic journey as they competed against some incredible talent with over twice their numbers. I've been a fan ever since. Having sung in an acapella group myself, I was captivated by their mesmerizing arrangements and top-notch talent all around!! I've literally watched their cover of Shallow multiple times and I've never noticed that gold & black & white thing you pointed out. I think I'm usually just in shock about them singing all the time lol

Hope you get tickets to Manchester. I was bought tickets to the original date as my birthday present from my wife last year. Made my day (it would be my second time seeing them live). Devastating (although totally understandable) that they had to postpone but now you get to see them too! So worth it. Spent half the concert last time giddy off my feet, the other half in tears. Amaze-balls.

There is a reason for their 3 Grammys. They can put passion into every song. Gorgeous people, so much talent and beauty. They kept us happy during quarantine each recording from home. Check out the AT HOME album, with Dreams, Home, When the Party's Over. Plus an original BE MY EYES.
If music doesn't make you feel some kind of way, then it failed. Pentatonix and I watch so many reactions, never fails to make people feel.
These intros are so funny, every time :D To be honest I didn't really get into int until the chorus. But then it went to a whole different level. What Kirstin did there was incredible! And they kept tis level all the way to the end.

Basically it was put together for you tube. You must start with the video The making of a band. It explains how they go about making of the songs. They have over 50 artists they use depending on the songs. Love your reactions, Keep them coming. Dick.

Well, you made your own suggestion ... Accept - Balls to The Wall. If you end up diggin them, Walking in the Shadows, Faster Than A Shark, Metal Heart to name a few. Awesome tunes by a bygone band from the 80's. There are a few reactors on these, but not much, so relatively 'fresh' ground. Since you like the A Capella, think you would also enjoy the opposite spectrum of 2 Cellos as well as the Harp Twins, as they play metal and rock on classical instruments.

PTX occasionally spice up a track with Kevin on the cello (“Say Something” and “Radioactive” spring to mind), and why not? It would be a shame to never hear him play, given his talent. Plus, of course, his celloboxing was how he first came to the attention of Kirsten, Scott & Mitch :-)
