Tomer you are missing the point. Preston makes Settlements. I got word that they need protecting. Building Preston as an annoying stax deck is the point because the character is annoying. It's flavorful.
Smothering Tithe and Esper Sentinel are mandatory for flavor, shame it isn’t blue for the Rhystic Study as well. Can’t play with Preston without hearing him repeat lines over and over again can we
Never thought I would hear the phrase, "the main advantage to dogmeat" lol. Tomer please get some rest. Your health is more important than timely releases.
I've been playing EDH multiple times a week since 2016. I literally cannot remember a time that those filter lands screwed me. They enter untapped and are super reliable. Obviously they aren't Battlebond lands or Shock lands but they're great. I would run the all of them in any two- or three-color deck. You're crazy, calling them bad.
I think your head canon about the almost perfect power armor guy being ass out is actually the joke, the flavor text supports it so I think you're 100% spot on
In the more recent Fallout games you have to collect pieces of armor and in the art for "almost perfect" the chest does not match the rest of the armor hence an incomplete suit of power armor
@@zFinity It's pretty good. Definitely better Voltron options, but I've never seen it played Voltron so it's hard to know. It's incredibly easy to abuse the token generation, even more so now with role tokens.
@@abstractsymmetricity it's pretty good in a strictly casual battle cruiser setting. But it's a 4 mana commander with no card advantage that has to stick around to do its thing. As a voltron commander it's pretty bad compared to something like wyleth who comes down one mana sooner has trample and draws cards. It's one of those cards that's fun but overcosted for its effect compared to other cards that perform the archetype better. It does get better as more cards support it but having played it and against it, I really have never seen it go off or do it's thing once in my area.
Yeah, That something most players miss on Yes, the creation of the Settlement might not be best Beginning of Battle Phase Effect (I'm a Yu-Gi-Oh player as well), there are some particular uses such as putting it in a Tap Land (and that way you can give them some extra utility) or a Dark Depths (and that way, make it able to Tap for Mana in the Early Game, alowing it to partially pay itself for the removal of the Counter) in Legacy But, the reason this Card is going to be used for, is for it's Second Effect: Being basically a Intruder Alert on Legs (although it only affects those Permanets that were enchanted and it requires Garvey to Attack in order to activate it) has so many applications (that i will not mention here for sake of not overextending the comment) This is another card that demonstrate that you don't need powerful ETBs to make functional monsters
If you think about it, there are not many enchanted things you will want to untap with his trigger besides lands. He is interesting in theory, but ends up just being a combo or stax commander (such is the nature of untapping commanders like Derevi). Untapping creatures just isn't interesting enough.
I don't see why people don't like the Odyssey lands they are always untapped dual lands on turn 2 onwards. I rate them really high and think that along with the pain lands they are the best budget dual lands.
It's just that they are like a signet land and if you are playing like three colour it can get a bit iffy on occasion if you need one of each colour. It get's more iffy the more colours you use. Like they are not bad, great budget options too. Wierd they are being printed in the fallout commander decks though, considering the amazing as hell land reprints we got from Dr. Who. Would be neat to have seen the bonds reprinted in the fallout decks tbh. Dr Who still remains the best mana bases I have ever seen in a precon.
I mean TBF the best thing about mono colour decks, it's near impossible to unintentionally screw up your mana base lol. But I did mean stuff like reprinting the horizon and slow lands, which are really great choices for a commander deck that are not too expensive and are untapped mana sources with the horizon having fringe upside late game. @@longdangley
Conceptually, it looks like an interesting deck, and the fact that you are using different gadgets to power up yourself refers in an okay way in the universe of Fallout. Yet, due to cards, I cannot say that I would choose exactly this one from the Fallout bundle.
All that glitters is in it that plus idolized can make a creature scary by itself. Put some tutors from white, a small amount of removal and protection, maybe some better aura Enchant's and equipment artifacts and your set.
I don’t understand how Tomer doesn’t think Pip-Boy 3000 is not cracked in an equipment deck??????!!!! It’s straight up better than almost every sword of x and y, and very similar in power level to the best ones. And if you’re cheating equip costs - which you will be - this is insane
I'm pretty hyped for Inventory Management in my own Akiri deck. I recently added Forge Anew which I have some issues with (the 0 equip cost is redundant with several cards, the instant speed Equip is only on my turn, unlike Leonin Shikari, which is most of that effect's utility). Inventory Management has the advantage of not being telegraphed and not being able to be responded to which is unique and a potential Gotcha', waisting opponent's removal or turning a good board position into a winning board position. And its funny interaction when fetched with Sunforger, I will for sure be trying it out.
I think Bighorner may be great for my Omnath Locus of Mana, you get to keep unspent green which powers Omnath up. So once that is down it could be doubling the commander's power and wver increasing unspent mana.
I think you might be sleeping on Preston Garvey, he untaps ALL enchanted permanents. He wants you to enchant as many of your creatures as possible, so then he can attack and cause them all to untap acting as a pseudo vigilance. Heck if you prep right and then use Grim Reaper's Sprint you could have almost all your creatures swinging twice and still remain untapped by end of turn. Also his ability to essential refund mana will be very helpful too which gives you a mana advantage.
I think there is a different interesting way to build Preston. It would be possible to just include the land enchantments in ramp slots, and the very strong enchantment synergies that are good enough just with settlements and the land enchantments, and than to build it as an extra combat deck with an enchantment subtheme. because working well with extra combats is a unique thing Preston does that Estrid can't do (i think for normal enchantress decks Estrid is just the better Preston)
I wanna run preston and get multiple kessig wolf run or slayers stronghold activations off per combat. Also I think Moira would be good in isshin or othari since I play all the red proliferate effects there. Bighorn Rancher is going straight into raggadragga its fantastic there
Man, everyone in the Goldfish crew is always so utterly unimpressed with dual lands. Does it have a chance to come in untapped sometimes, trash. Does it not alhave a basic land type, trash. I appreciate that this cycle being completed is not going to set the world on fire but for my bargain basement self this is a perfectly serviceable and hopefully affordable way to fix mana.
Note on Grim Reaper's Sprint: It doesnt give you a main phase after the 2nd combat phase, meaning, even if you blink it, "if it isn't your main phase", it will not give you additional combat steps.
The new theme of create "artifact token" like food, clue and now junk hasnt really been clicking with me. Maybe I need to play the right deck to understand them however right now they dont excite me.

No. I havnt got word.
Note on Cait: Using her discard allows you to take advantage of Dogmeat's enter trigger by discarding a card you can return to your hand.
Inventory management is instant speed voltron rebuilder.
I have a goad aura deck. It was Breena, but I might switch to R/W and run this to steal back all my auras once I'm down to one opponent.
Never thought I would hear the phrase, "the main advantage to dogmeat" lol. Tomer please get some rest. Your health is more important than timely releases.

Those lands are so disappointing given how amazing the Doctor Who precon ones were. What happened?
So all these cards are in dog meats pre on?

Bighorner Ranger is like Selvala but worse in most ways. I think it's still good, but if I had to choose between the two I go with Selvala any day.

There are several infinite combos with Cass
Like what? Im curious in the combos
the fact that you simply said three dawg instead of saying THREE DAWG AWWOO!!!! shows your heart ain't in the game.
