    This house has sure been vacant a long time for a tree to be that tall growing thru the pool!! Can't the "bank" or whoever actually owns it sell it for a rock bottom price so a fixer upper company can fix it up for a family who would buy it, love it and take care of it!!

    • @virgilsettles

      I would love to own that house and I would take great care of it. I keep seeing these guys mowing abandoned homes lawns and all I can think of is how can I get that house? This one especially, It's amazing

    Fantastic work. I would think the neighbors would erect a statue in your honor. Nothing beats a revival of a neglected property. Great appeal after all of the work is finished, and a huge bang for the buck with two hours of professional effort. Of course with the front of the property looking so good the back yard needs a re-set and brought up to level of the front. What an interesting before/after transformation that will be.

    I'll never understand why the neighbors don't keep the yard cut. I cut two vacant houses (next to me and across the street) back in the mid 2000's, and it atleast gives the house a lived in look. Just edge the yard and spray the cracks in the driveway with weed killer. That alone will make a big difference. Not hard to do since I'm already edging/cutting my yard. Good video!

    • @corydriver7634
      @corydriver7634 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      I agree to a certain point. If I lived next door I’d at least mow the front. If it’s bank owned however I’d be calling the city everyday complaining about code violations to get them out there. If it’s an issue where I know the owners and they’re going through hard times I’d mow it without question.

    • @3rddegreeburns494
      @3rddegreeburns494 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@corydriver7634, The yards I cut were bank owned but they were set up to cut only once or twice a month. So it would get really tall before they showed up. Plus, they didn't rake or have a bagger when they cut it so the left over grass would be left in the yard and it looked bad.

    • @tbelding
      @tbelding 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@3rddegreeburns494 - I think that's the main problem here. This lawn looks like it had repeated 'once a month' cuts, and everything was just left where it lay. No edging at all, no bagging, and not even a good mulching mower, just a 'blow the cut grass and let it thatch'.

    I'd love to see what you can do with cleaning up the backyard. The property has good foundation on becoming a great yard again. If the homeowners decide to list their home, I'm sure it will have great potential for getting offers since it has good bones. Just needs some love again. Enjoyed watching. 🙂❤️

    Well of course you must do that sad and lonely neglected back yard! Find a tree guy to work with for the big stump in the front, in the pool, and trimming the trees up nicely!! You guys rocked this front yard.....1000 per cent improved!! Maybe a quick note to all the neighbors to get them to keep up at least the front in the future for their own sake??
    Satisfying to watch, enjoyable to see the before and after pics!!

    Great job gentlemen, I pray your channel and business(es) continue to thrive. This is where I like to come when I have a days worth of yard work to do myself. These videos always put me in the mood to get up and get out there. Keep up the stellar work guys. P.S., Feel free to upload more pressure washing videos. I pressure washed my fathers property last week and into the weekend (Thanks to you, really. That was a spur of the moment “I feel like doing it right now unannounced” because I saw some successful men on TH-cam do it) and I believed I could replicate the craftsmanship, LOL. It was nowhere near a satisfying as when you guys do it, as your machine has a heck of a lot more pressure than mine. Where as your pressure washer is a one and done, mines a two and maybe three passes before it’s been sorted out.

      We have one like this close to us. Elderly couple now gone, no children, no relatives. Grass is literally four feet tall. The city and county both have weed ordinances, minimum they charge is 900$ just to cut the grass. When they cut they charge against the property by way of a lien. If property taxes are not paid then the county will sell the property for the amount of the taxes and liens. That's when the brokers step in, rehab the property and turn it into section 8 rentals, down hill from then on.
