- Welcome to Acres Lawn Care, where we turn chaos into calm-one yard at a time! 🏡
In this episode, we tackled a seriously overgrown yard for a single mom who just couldn’t keep up with the wild growth. Seriously, we’re talking weeds taller than your average garden gnome! 🧙♂️
Watch as we jump in, tools in hand, and turn this jungle (oops, we meant ‘overgrown yard’) into a beautifully satisfying space that she can actually enjoy again. 🌿🍃
So grab some snacks and prepare for one of the most satisfying transformations you’ll see this week! If you love clean-ups, power tools, and that “after” shot that makes you go "WOW," you're in the right place!
Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more satisfying lawn makeovers, because we’ve got more yards to save! 💪

It’s great to see a gardener take on a big clean up showing it’s possible to prune and reshape plants rather than indiscriminately mowing everything down. Love to see this kind of content.
Agree completely!!
An edger would be helpful for a clean finished look.
It’s always a joy to see a gardener actually prune and trim plants rather than cut everything indiscriminately. 💚
Thank you for helping her.❤
What a lot of work. You could really use Gary on a job like this. Looking forward to part 2.
Thank you 🙏
Love that you did this!
Thank you ❤️
Perfect beginning. I loved that you didn’t just snip all those bushes but seriously trimmed them down to human, manageable height and mostly put them back into their borders. So glad the ivy is history soon.
Personally, I’m a take everything overgrown way down or totally out in order to able to see the opened up space and kinda start over.
Looking forward to seeing this series! Hope you can get someone to remove the rubbish in the back. Great service for this mother.
Thank goodness you’re back Alex. Another great job for the lady and her family. Can’t wait for part 2. 🤩
I would have taken a blowtorch to all of that lol. My goodness what an undertaking but definitely a blessing that you were willing to help this woman out.
Haha can I borrow the blowtorch 😂 thank you 🙏
Oh it's wonderful to see a real gardener at work. Thanks Alex for helping out this lady.❤️
Always love your transformation videos.
Glad you like them! 😀
That was a great video. So love that you are helping this family! It is already very improved. It will help protect the house and make it a place they can enjoy. This will take a load off the mother's shoulders too. Looking forward to part II. Stay safe.
i love the way you take the time to trim the trees and plants and not whack everything down to get rid of it. Excellent!!! Crack On!
Fantastic job, already looks better and more to come. Looking forward to the next video !!!!!
More to come! 😀
I love watching that ivy come down 🎉
That is one crazy, busy and noisy street!!😮
This will be a fun one to watch. It already looks much better.
Thank you 🙏
Thank you for helping this mom out.
Wonderful video and work
Thank you! Cheers!
Looks so much nicer! ♥️👍
It's looking much better already...that ivy climbing the wall in a right pain in the back side....looking forward to part 2.
Oh yes, this is going to be a big transformation. You’re off to a good start. Looks so much better already. 👍
Thank you so much 😊
You have made a big difference already 👍💛
I hope so! Thank you 🙏
Hey Alex, have you thought about doing a collaboration video? Ben from Flawless Cleaning Services is always in need of help on projects. He's not a gardener but he takes on a lot of jobs that involve gardening.
Awesome job with this property ❤
Great idea!!!👍
You much improved her curb appeal, it will lift her spirits coming home from work every day, and it improves the neighbourhood. Looks like the back will be a lot of work.
It always sounds as if you are on a race track when the footage is sped up, they were driving like crazy!
Haha yeh it was a very busy street, I hope your well thank you for stopping by ❤️
To the homeowner: I would transplant the buddleia to the back yard, where it could spread its wings instead of being a maintenance headache; add a window box below the window in that corner; and transplant the cotoneaster into it, so no one would drive over it.
Thanks maybe a window box would be a good idea 😀
I’ve been watching you for a long time. Love it when you identify plants and bushes. I’m watching from California and we have fox’s in residential neighborhoods also.
You are a great gardener! I know the place will look much better and be healthier.
Well done 👏👏
Awesome job can’t wait for part two 👍
Wow Alex, you’re a star for doing this. It’s like archeology discovering plants, steps and paths, but real gardening can be back breaking. Well done.
Taking out all the overgrowth has really made a huge difference. You are saving the house too! Can't wait to see all the ivy removed. I'm in the US and don't see too many foxes. There are just an abundance of deer that forage on my plants.
I think the reason more and more wild animals are coming into urban areas is because we are taking the land for development. The red fox is not native to North America. It was brought over by the British so they could have fox hunts. All animals are optimistic and will look for easy food when food and land is scarce. Here in Cedar Hill, Missouri, USA we have seen black bear, Armadillo moving into the area.
That English Ivy is terribly invasive and can damage the tuck pointing on the brick, get under siding, roofs trim around windows. It needs to managed if you are going to allow it on your property, as are all vines.
That’s a good point . Yes English Ivy is the worst 😬👍
Great job. You always do a sympathetic job, looking after plants. 🌺🌺
Wow, what a lovely front garden you are revealing. I really enjoyed watching! Thanks. With recycling in open totes and people not washing their containers, we are struggling with a rapid rise in very large rats in Victoria BC.
Wow! Very thorough job! Great gardener!
Wow, so much better and larger now! Also, we have skunks here in ABQ, NM USA! Fox poo is nothing compared to what the skunks can do. LOL
Really that’s crazy I always hear about skunks but they really are a pain
I have missed your videos Alex. You are doing a wonderful job and thing. I bet she will be so pleased when she gets home. You a good man and deserve to get more subscribers, I hope you make it to 200,000 verry soon and so many more. You can really see your love for gardening. See you next one Love ya Alex.
Virginia, yeah fox inhabit a wild area. Our nuisance animals are skunks and raccoon and opossum. Or large rats in more urban city areas. They are all oppertunistic creatures. More and more feral cats and dogs are seen roaming around.
This front garden has such a interesting mish-mash of plants... pull that ivy off the front house... so far, the clean up is very nice🎉
Thank you so much 😀
Excellent start! Looks so much clearer now and can't wait for part 2. You always do such nice work!
Thank you! So kind of you ☺️
Great video as always,I like the way you think about the plants before you prune them.
J’adore ce genre de vidéo "sauvetage" .... vivement la suite
I love watching your videos! You make cleaning and mowing look so satisfying. Thanks for helping the environment!
I have always enjoyed your method of cleaning up! A real gardener has a style for details n how plants or trees should be. I wish you make the video longer. N don’t let us wait for too long the second one😂❤
OMG!! Your sack was huge. 🤣🤣 Great job as usual, can't wait for part two.
Really enjoy a garden transformation
Look forward to seeing part 2
For some reason, I like the ivy removal the best. And that tool you use to get it off the brick seems to work great... Thumbs Up!
Huge undertaking! Awesome cleanup!
Thank you 🤩
You done well mate, big improvement already 👍
I’d love to see you and Flawless Cleaning work together on a yard like this. Imagine how clean that driveway look like when cleaned.
Maybe one day! 💪
Yes I agree, it would absolutely be a great idea to work with Flawless. You guys are acquaintances/ friends right?
It is a great video and continue to grow your channel by helping your community. 🙏🏼🌟🌹😊
It is so much better already. Personally I would move that Cotoneaster to somewhere else like under the window, as it’s current position is in the way. The Buddleja would also be better in a different place too. It could go in the strip of garden at the front. As always you do an awesome job.❤❤❤
Yeah! Excellent video, great content, love the music at the intro and at the end, can't wait for next part 🙂👌👏👍💚🌿

Thank you 🙏
Nice work Alex I’m on the hunt for a few jobs like this as I have every other Friday free so will be doing some freebie Fridays for those who really genuinely need help getting their gardens back under control
It’s nice if you can get a garden back, especially if it’s like a single mum with kids so that the kids can play in the garden again you know
Top work mate 💚😎
Zo mooi dat je dit doet! Altijd leuk om naar je filmpjes te kijken!
Just subscribed! Looking forward to seeing this garden all trimmed up and beautiful 😊
Thanks for subbing! 😀
😱 the whole garden is smothered in ivy as well as the house
Great Job. We have coyotes here. Fantastic work helping people. ❤from Oregon.
No foxes in Tasmania. But, our garden is covered in wallaby poo - so swings and round-a-bouts! Great transformation and I appreciate that you consider the worth of a plant and don't just mow everything down.
That street was insane.
Well done. Looking forward to part 2.
Nice job!!! Well done!! 🎉🎉🎉 Can’t wait for the continuation!!😊😊
These Jobs will gain you more subs&likes. Ben and his father knock out overgrown properties and thats where the interest is. This is what we want Alex & thanks !
We don’t have foxes in our garden but we have possums, all the veggies have to be covered with a net, even the chilly plants are have the net over them! Enjoyed watching your video, can’t wait to see it all completed 😊
Thank you 🤩 x
Hi, I live in Saskatoon Canada , which is a city, foxes are not a problem but mice are. We put out traps in the Fall and Winter as they will move into sheds and garages when it is cold (I mean up to -40 Celsius at times during the winter).
Great job again well done 👏 ✔️ ❤😂🎉 from nsw Australia
"Let's get cracking" reminds me of Ben from Flawless Cleaning 😊
