- This abandoned property is only a couple of blocks away from my house. I first noticed this lawn a week prior to mowing it when I was just driving through the neighborhood. Once I got time I went over and got the overgrown lawn back into shape.

It is sad that someone lost their home, but a lot of renters do not try to take care of their homes. My daughter rented out her home for 2 years while she was away on business and she was just great full she had a home. They did no yard work and destroyed baseboards and blinds, almost destroyed her washer and dryer. these neighbours hopefully are great full the for clean up.🇨🇦

I can't believe this house is abandoned! The grill, hose and other backyard things would not be left to thieves! But you did something wonderful by cleaning up the yard for this owner. You are a true good neighbor!

The home might be "abandoned " by the people that couldn't pay their rent. If you up and move across country some things are bound to be left behind. Especially if you don't know where you are going to live. Just because the bbq is left doesn't mean he can't understand what the notices on the door said.
Maybe they are in Jail ? or dead inside ?
Maybe they moved into an apartment.

Someone should really check due to the pandemic going on.
I am sorry the people lost their home but thank you for making the choice to keep your area functioning. The shrub had reached the point of blocking access to the sidewalk/door and trimming it restored access as well as a sense of order. You made that home look really nice, usable.

Beautiful neighborhood job there Brian. That's 3 1/2 hours of backbreaking work. So glad to see you were wearing long pants when your shins were being attacked even though they could not protect you from the pain. Sad to see such a cute house now abandoned. It was obviously once loved and I think you gave it a better chance of being loved again soon.

Excellent job Brian! Your work ethic is commendable, my father said many times the old quote….any job worth doing….is worth doing right! You move stuff, pick up hoses and just whatever it takes to make it right. I watch theses other Lawn Care channels with fancy trucks and those with a couple channels, we don’t move this, we don’t pick up that…..some just after the buck not the quality of the job., I know everyone is different….keep up the good work! I always wonder about people going on o vacant properties. If a rock flew from the mower and broke something or someone just wanted to be a pain, it could cause you trouble, I’m assuming. I wished that there were men like you around where I live I am disabled and I have an acre and a half of land, no trees to weed eat around the only weed eating that has to be done is around the house itself and I pay between $75 and $100 each time its mowed keep in mind that the grass isn't blown off nor is my holly bush trimmed God Bless you

I've sold 3 of my homes in less than a month each due to my lawns being immaculate. I love yard work since I was a very young girl. My dad taught me everything as he had his first house lawn on our city's best lawn in the 59'. I keep my now rented home in same condition. Love viewing these videos. Need to get my gas trimmer fixed so I can get out there and have some fun. Even my asthma doesn't deter me from doing a yard. Your yard maintenance turned out great...👍🥇

Looks great. I may be the odd man out, but if I lived near that property, I'd mow it at least once a month or every other mowing cycle. Heck, if I lived next door (garage side of the house), I would at least mow/edge up to the driveway. It only takes a few extra minutes.

I’m sure glad I don’t live in the city with all the curbs and sidewalks. Almost all the houses where I live are on 3/4 acres and I mow 4 of them.I’m 69 and I love getting out there and mowing. I do leave the weeding to a young man across the street though lol

If it is alike over there like here in Uk there people that go round cutting piblic grasses and do ing gardens and parks. So why dont these people get put out to doing this sort of work days in a month instead of issuing city volitations which cost money and surly the city SHOULD know if a property is vacant, surely it dony hurt to KNOCK on the door and find out if someone is not well or uinable to cope and then HELP out. But NO itis easier to stick a piece of paper on a window/door than to be CHRISTAIN

Every month I go to my mom & dad's grave & pay my respects 🙏,. Since 2004 I bring my string trimmer, and my backpack blower & trim the whole section where my parents are resting. I can't stand having the area show any disrespect to my parents so I trim & clean perfect strangers markers / stones as well FOR FREE !!!!!! I'VE had people curse at me ( many times ) cause they think I work for the Cemetery. If I see a servicemans marker I always give them a salute & thank them for their service.
