That 79h is incredible for like a 6 inch mag draft, Carolina rig and in a pinch it can handle a 10xd. One of my favorites for like a football jig as well
want to hear a funny story ben. i fish on a grass lake in Massachusetts. i love flipping and frogging. i decided to throw the tacticalbassin deep crank when i had nothing left to throw. nov 16th 39* water. 1st deep crank fish ever 6.11 person best. never caught another bass the rest of the year.
Thanks so much for this Fantastic Video !!! Well Done !! And I really appreciate this info , especially on the A-Rigs !! Looking forward to your upcoming videos on more In Depth A-Rig How To !!
How does the high pitcher perform when being burned in like 20-25ft the gancraft is my go to but still has a hard time staying down even at the 3/4oz when burning it. I find I need to burn it for reaction strikes when the conditions keep them that deep. Also plugs are awesome in deep. Any suggestions for 25+ feet with a more aggressive wobble and smaller profile than the big m? I like the Nories shot over 7 but hard to get
It doesn't stay down as much as the SV-3 does when fished fast. Just too much lift from the blades. Not really many cranks for that depth other than the BigM and 10XD stuff.
@@thehookuptackle_usa I know I think it’s honestly a missed opportunity. I feel like the fish just don’t see anything that deep that’s why the 10xd is so deadly. Hopefully a jdm company goes for something deeper but with how the lakes are in Japan (there target market) we probably won’t see much in that range. Unfortunate
This has nothing to do with this video but when fishing a dropshot, do you prefer braid to leader or straight Fluoro? I tried straight fluoro and I liked it but would I be more impressed by adding braid?
Great info thanks. Can we please get a few more BFS videos? Like rod, reel and lure discussions/reviews.
Done! We’ll make it happen
Wow these are great tips, thanx for sharing🙏🏾
Thank you for watching!

Yeah it's a super sick rod. 👍

Congrats on a great fish man! Glad that worked for you! 👍🍻
Great video guys. Can you make a northern pre-spawn/spawn smallmouth video? I know you’re itching for another trip to Michigan 😉
Ok 👍. And yes - i need to get back to Michigan!
Only Ben can convince me I need a steez ags for a lipless 😄!
🤣. Only if you want to have the maximum amount of fun! 🍻
Coulda used this info today. Found em suspended and stacked with shad in 60-70 today. Prob would’ve connected with a few more than what I did.
So you went fishing today! That’s dope! 🍻

Another a rig rod you missed is the evoluzion white python. It’s actually my go to over the blackjack or any arms
I didn't miss it - it's not one of my favorites for Arig.
@@thehookuptackle_usa interesting! Why not? I live that stick has great bend through the middle I find
@@reelbassreviews3481 it’s too fast in the middle, and doesn’t cast the ARig well - too punchy. I live the rod - but not for Arigs

How to keep them from tumbling during a cast when the wind is blowing?
Ben that was juicy. Thanks

I almost always prefer braid to leader. Braid is so much easier to manage on spinning
@@thehookuptackle_usa so you think 10lb braid to 7lb leader sounds alright. I see guys do 12 or 15
The high pitcher max sounds like a dream Great Lakes/glacial lake smallmouth spinnerbait, right?
Yes! They’ll destroy it!
Verified tackle nerds!!
And 1v1 champions…
Can you guys go over some UL and BFS gear?
Yep! We’ll do that shortly!
Does the hook up tackle have a Bassmaster fantasy group?
We're in a lot of peoples fantasies - does that count? 😂🍻
@@thehookuptackle_usa Keep up the good work. 🎣

When ya getting the levante rods in?? LAUNCHER!!!
There isn't a launcher in Levante - that's Orochi. They'll both be trickling back in over the next couple months.
Jackall TN-60 and 70 easily the best deep water lipless.
Those are good
Have you guys ever done a top 5 rods to have and why ?? Can’t find a good video on this subject??
We've done a lot of rod videos - but I think a top 5 would be cool. We'll work on that.
Man take to long to get to the tips wow
