Bro I am freaking out! I have never been able to find the Klash 9 low float in stock EVER, and while watching the video I checked a few places, everywhere out of stock, and I checked the hook up tackle, and they had two colors left in stock in the low float. US Carp, and US Trout. Not only that, they are on sale for $101!!!!!! I ordered one of each. I am sooo freaking stoked!!!!
I had one of the originals. Sold my klash 9 for $300 2-3 years ago and have been missing it ever since. I literally just ordered one from a website. I got my fav color #256 and can’t wait to throw it. It’s by far my favorite glide bait but so versatile
Man I absolutely love my DRT TK it absolutely smashes!!! Yes psycho mode is absolutely the best way to catch Bass any time! I have walked up to almost every boat ramp on Lake Chickamauga before I put my boat in and I’ll break out my TK, fish it as fast as I can! Inevitable I’ll smash a 3-6 pounder!
Thanks Geoffrey, great tutorial. If anyone watching was truly paying attention, there was alot of information in those first few minutes of fish catches without any volume even, just watching. Great job, but I think they are all gone. I got a total of six DRT Klash lures from the you guys at Hookup and another place in North Carolina, mixture of TK and K9's.
Thanks dude! You definitely answered some questions I had about it and you were on point from what I’ve already seen from the bait action wise. Actually grabbed the bass color K9 from y’all on the last drop, just put some quads on it but haven’t really had the chance to try it out
My TK setup is the Megabass P5 Tequila Baccarat with my Daiwa Morethan SH 7.1 on suffix 131 (50#) straight braid. Yea straight braid but 131 is silky smooth and is neutrally buoyant.
I never had any confidence fishing glidebaits/swimbaits from the bank. Really only thought they were too big and meant for lakes with bigger fish. Seeing you fish them from the bank with all that confidence really inspires me man. Picked up a magdraft freestyle, s waver, and Ill be picking up a few more “lighter” glides/swimbait to test out this upcoming season. Dont have a swimbait combo but Ill try getting it done on my 7’2 H Expride B with a curado 150 mgl (probably not the most ideal combo but I dont have anything heavier other than a 7’3 XH expride b and thats a straight up pool cue lmao). “Big” fish here in IL means a 3-5 pounder but they are few and far between. I’ll still give it a shot and hopefully get better. Thanks for the content man can’t wait to see future videos from you 💪🏼
When I first bought tk’s a d K9’s. I thought the only good way was to glide it. Ended up trading mine. Then I just decided like a year later to give it another shot. Someone told me not to fish it like a glide and to always have the lip in. First day out I broke my PB. I will say stock TKs out of the box go deeper than that. Watching them on my live scope they Will crank down to 8 feet and that’s about where they sit. With the wide lip you can get 11 to 12 feet. With a short lip I believe you can get 5 to 6 feet and with the YTMK Lip it actually goes up to 6 feet. If you slow it down obviously it doesn’t go as deep. But I got into this bait in May of this year, and I haven’t put it down. I’ve caught more fish on this than any other swimbait. I am in Massachusetts and even now with the water around 37°, I can still catch them sometimes
Great video. You mentioned that you only really use the low float version. Have you found that weighting the hi float to get it closer to a suspend messes with the action too much? I’m still experimenting with weighting my TC and trying to figure out what works and how far I can push it.
I don’t weight the hi float, if I wanted a bait that was slow float I would just use a low float TiK, the hi float for me is used as a wake bait personally
I lost my stock k9 lip before getting a TK so I can’t compare, but I have wide k9 lips that fit perfectly into TKs and tk stock lips that fit into the k9…….are they all the same for both lures or are they really scaled down for the TK for the same style lips?
Dude - Great video! I can't believe it took me 2 days to get to watch it, my bad!!! I can't wait to get my hands on one of these to try in 2024! After hearing that Phoenix had success in MN with them, that's all I need to know! As a Northern angler, our bigguns are 5, 6, 7 lbs unless we fish private spots.... so the 8-9-10-12" swimbaits don't get a lot of bites. This sucker seems like it will be the deal for big bass up north.... I am super stoked to slow roll that thing around with some grenade weights piled on it once the sun cycle starts getting longer here in Pennsylvania. Now it's just a matter of finding them... I can only find the 1.5 oz floaters on TW. Hook up is sold out. Any ideas???
Good luck with the baits man! I could only find the smaller grenade weights while I was in Japan actually, not sure why they are hard to find here in the states though!
Another banger! As always Geoff, super informative I learn so much from your content. Can’t thank you enough for sharing all this info. Until now I was fishing my TK in one mode in familiar with the other modes. So thanks man. Would you mind telling me the color names of the 3 baits you showed? The black, white, and the translucent color with the red tail? TIA Geoff I cannot find the color of the TK your holding up to the camera at 4:23. Please bro, what is that color name?? Lol
I personally get bit more on k9 than tk not sure why that is but just way it is for me I have thrown for hours switch to k9 bam get bit Great Video!!! Cheers!! :))
Yeah, sonically, I have caught more fish on the K9 but everytime I pick up the TiK, I catch fish on it. It just depends on when and where you fish both baits!
Man....I'd love to get you on a lake I go to south of Tucson. It's 110 acres and has Florida Strain. My best is a 9.9. I'd love to get out there with you and do some damage!!
Are you guys saying middle lip or minnow lip?! And if you’re saying middle does that mean stock as in not the short lip and not the wide deep lip? Lol thanks
Idk bro too much of a good thing can be a bad thing love the Kash 9 and TK but with everybody going after the same bait I feel like the fish get to used to seeing it it’s definitely a good bait but it’s really just a tool in my opinion nowadays it’s just showing me where the fish are hidden I think ppl get the wrong idea that just because you buy a bait that’s hard to get your gonna get that PB you’ve been hunting for but true Swimbait fishermen know it’s not the bait it’s the fisherman 🤷🏾♂️

Hey Geoffrey big fan you should try out my favorite swimbait called the Zoom Trickworm
😂
Trick worm is too big for my fish I prefer the finesse worm
Wow, thanks for the advice mister! Is that a rare Japanese lure or something? Or is this a JoJo reference?
That Marshall dood is weird af 😬😂

Hell yeah! Good luck with the bait out there man!
@@crazybassfisher thanks man!! just got the accessories for it too!
Thanks for the heads up on the drop! Stocked up on some spare lips and tails and scored some accessories they didn't have earlier
Hell yeah! Thanks for watching homie 🙏
Love my TK's but I fish the K9 more with the same exact modes, YTMK lip, dead walk, transfer tail, etc.

Crazy how he just upped and left the northern guys like that
I’m from Italy and i’m looking to buy my first tiny klash, this video is so precious!
Thank you Geoff 👊🏻
My favorite bait as well! Catch fish all over Texas 12 months a year in it! Keep up the good work bra!
It’s a fish catching machine! Thanks for watching 🤙
Just got my first two TK’s yesterday. Can’t wait for spring here in Michigan. I really want to see if I can trick our big smallies with it.
I’m sure the smallies will smash that thing! Good luck out there!
@@crazybassfisher question, what do you use for storage on your tk’s and k9’s ?

Great video at a great time for me. I'm years behind on the DRT baits but hope to utilize them a bunch this year. I've only fished it with the lip in.
Good luck with the baits man! Hope you catch with them!
@crazybassfisher thank you Geoff. I picked up a Garrett's customs Ghost and multiple others so I better. ( 2 from The Hook Up😉 )
waiting to get one of these so i can try out that deadwalk

Thanks for the video I have been eyeballing that shimano bantam lately myself. It must be good if you have one!
I absolutely love that reel, handles that 1-3oz stuff great and feels strong and solid!
Absolutely awesome breakdown Geoffrey 👏👏❤️
Thanks for watching my dude 🙏🤟
Wow Geoff, cool video! Legendary performance dude!
Them "handles of the turn" are EXTREMELY important! 😅😂
Great video! What type of handle are you running on that Bantam?
Purchased my new TK. What do you recommend for the snap clip?

I don’t weight the hi float, if I wanted a bait that was slow float I would just use a low float TiK, the hi float for me is used as a wake bait personally
Love that bait but never throw it. Guess I don't fish shallow often enough and don't have clear enough water for mid depth. Need to revist it I guess.
I'm almost to the Klash confidence-wise...got the Raid gi, hopefully get one on that this season
You’ll definitely catch on the GI!
Damn, that fish you caught in the vid by Dillons at Lake Pleasant was cool. That security guard was like "they get big like that in here?" 😂😂😂
Bro was straight creeping 😂
Great info thanks for the tips and recommendations!

Wonderful video as always. Can we take a sec what was up with that smallmouths back. A whole chunk was missing
Crazy right? Maybe a prop hit it or something?
Great video- very thorough and helpful. Any advice on hooks? stock vs replacements?
The stock hooks are fine, they are little big for me so I switch to a size 3 st45
Great Video! If not using a snap on, what knot you recommend to give the best action for the TK?
I always use a snap personally, I know some guys don’t run a snap and just use a normal knot

Geoffrey the 🤴 👑 lets go!✌️🎣💥
I might have to try 15-17lb line. Been using 20 for the longest.
I used 20 for a while in the beginning but found that lighter line makes the bait act slightly bit different!
Thank you for the video. When using the V tail is the longer part of the tail facing up toward the surface or down towards the bottom?
I normally having the longer section facing up!
Thank you sir🎣

Those southern Az lakes are sleeper lakes for sure! Went to one last year and saw some potential, just hella far😂
How well do these techniques translate to the klash9?
The exact same actually.
Is there a deep diving glide bait?
The security guard watching it get smashed 😂🎉
Haha buddy was just creeping 😂
Do you fish the stock hooks and rings on the TK?
I have yes, good hooks but a little big for me, I now swap to size 3 owner st45 hooks
What rod were you using at 2:38?
Have you used the dtk13 lip and if so how do you implement it?
I used that lip only for the dtk13 bait actually. It just gets that bait deeper than the wide lip!
I like the swimming action on this one. I bet it will definitely catchbsome whoppers! Wow Geoff, cool video!
How does the TinyKlash compare to the Deps Highsider?
The high sider is a multi joint bait that has a more snakey swim to it.
This was a goodie 🤙

Just like “how the turns have tabled” 😂

If I don’t have any v tails, will the normal tail in A mode work just as good for the dead walk?
Yes, you can deadwalk with Mode A tail, the cadence is just a little different.
Yes, I mentioned that you could still achieve the dead walk with the normal tail in the video 🤟

What’s your favorite color in tiny klash and k9
Tough question, probably the mystic weed color or specter
Transfer tail . Burn burn burn stop. 💥
Stop and go 🔥
So, when will these be back in stock at THUT?
Not quite sure, I believe Swimbait Undergrounr still has some though!
Can you ou do a review on the hangover and the zaldian swim baits?
What are your favorite tk colors ?
Mystic weed, specter, deep purple and new moon
Excellent
Thanks for watching, appreciate it 🙌
What line do you use for the k9?
20lb flouro
Nice!!!
Hell yeah brother 🙏
Aren’t those $100+
I never see anyone fishing a Jackall Gantarel Jr but they are under $50 and awesome
Anybody out there catching Pike or Musky on these? How are they holding up to big toothy critters?
Phoenix has caught a couple of pike on the TiK! They just rip up the tails a bit!
What snap do you like?
I use a size 3 decoy egg snap
@@crazybassfisherthank Jeff I’ll go get it now

You can for sure but it’s best on a MH rod
