      For lancool 2 mesh also, they mention 2 x 140mm. However, we can mount 2 x 140mm with 1 x120mm easily. Also, some people have put 3 x 140mm as seen on reddit. Can you check if these configurations are possible in lancool 216?

      To be honest, when I started this channel, I was worried as I do it at my comfort zone (no studio, no good cameras). you might be shock, all these while am only using a smart phone to take those videos. Nevertheless I am standing as a PC builder stand point, I want to know what's good or bad of a product before purchasing. Be it if further products are sponsored, I will stick to my principle. If it's bad, I will say it's bad. If it's good, I will praise and state why they are good. Again thank you so much to have put in your kind words, it meant alot to me.. 🙂

    Thank you for the indepth rundown of this case! I am debating between the 216 or a Lancool III right now. However, I do have a question regarding vertical mounting in this case. You pointed out that fans won't fit under the card in the stock case vertical mounting orientation (at least not two fans). But would I be able to forego the stock mounting and instead use a 3rd party vertical mounting bracket such as a Cooler Master V3 and still be able to utilize the two fan mounting positions? Is there room for a 3rd party bracket and fans? I know if I mounted horizontal, this wouldn't be an issue. However, I currently have a CM V3 and a bunch of Uni Infinity fans in my current case. So it would be great to be able to utilize those parts in this case. Otherwise, might need to turn my focus to the Lancool III. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

    • @KleoYan
      @KleoYan  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello TravD23, welcome to my channel. I do not have a CM v3 mount but I do know this mount allow you to adjust the rear to give clearance for you to plug either hdmi or dp csbles. This is not an issue. The only concern I have is. Can the CM bracket fit on the PCI-E slot which I am not sure if it does. Since am not able to give you a straight answer, you only got two choices. 1 is to take the risk and to try 2nd have it horizontally mounted.

    Would you be able to confirm the possibility of using bottom fans with vertical gpu mode?
    Possible work around #1: depending on how much clearance is left between ATX psu and bottom grill, and how much the standoffs threads penetrate through the grills. I might be able to use thin fans below the grills.
    Possible work around #2: To use SFX-L or SFX PSU to mount the fans below grills (Still need to make sure the standoff screw don't destroy the fan blades).
