It's so satisfying to see a really bad guy who has been pissing off and ruining a good guy's life for so long, and finally seeing him get pounded into the freakin ground.
I always thought it'd be more satisfying if Dio had returned during Joseph's era and the pillar men awakened during Jotaro's time. The way it is, there's no justice for the people Dio hurt all those years ago, only for those he hurt that night. The people left to mourn Jonathan, Will Zeppeli, and all the others he killed are all long dead. The only person who even still knows the story is Joseph, and he said in part two that "the grandfather who died before he was born" meant nothing to him. If Dio had returned with Jonathan's body in part two, and Joseph had defeated him, it would've meant so much more. Erina, Speedwagon, Lisa Lisa, and Caesar would've had closure. But Erina will never know what happened to Jonathan's body, Speedwagon will never know how immensely he helped the Joestars, Lisa Lisa will never know justice for her birth parents or for Jorge Joestar II, and Caesar will never see the end of the fued his family had had with the stone mask. Also, the pillar men, these ancient Demigods of immense supernatural power, returning after thousands of years would be a better way to introduce stands to the series than just "Dio's back, these are stands, forget Hamon, *Stands*"
dio's leg was injured so the world's leg was also injured giving it's kick less power than star platinum's punch, and since it is made of a super hard material the greater force from star platinum with the same hardness caused the world to crack apart and dio likewise

As both their stands are the same, Dio still had the two seconds of movement like Jotaro had to move in the stopped time, and that's why he wasn't stopped immediately.

Dio's biggest strength and his fatal flaw is that he was cautious. When he had victory in his grasp he didn't take the risk and grasp it. Dio didn't seem to understand that sometimes you have to take risks to win the battle. Also Dio seemed to fail to comprehended a simple truth. Just because something doesn't last forever does not mean it is not meaningful. living a life with no regrets is far more important than victory because a simple truth in life is that it is not about winning or losing. It is simply about living the best life you can and leaving this world with no regrets. Jotoro won because he was human, rejecting the biggest gift we have of limited time makes you the biggest loser of them all. Because our time on the earth is limited makes it invaluable and far important. :P seems like I rambled on enough.
Value of time is not the only gift Dio has forsakened. It's his determination as well. Dio thinks that just because he's at the top of the food chain, he's automatically so strong that no one can ever beat him. He doesn't believe in bettering himself the same way the Joestars do. I mean, sure he's practiced stopping time often enough that he can stop it for longer intervals each time, but let's face it; That's just more "play time" for him to enjoy. Remember what he said about Jonathan. "The more you beat him, the tougher he gets." He just plays with his food, and that's also what caused his downfall. Dio lost because he only ever thinks about winning.

Nah, even when he was certain, Jotaro still pulled out tricks. Going for a risk play wouldn't have mattered because we already know what Jotaro is capable of. He would've simply just have done his tricks earlier than expected. It doesn't help that Dio does not know when Jotaro will activate his stand. The moment he comes close, his head will get popped off. So no matter how reckless or cautious Dio was, the result would be the same.
His downfall was due to his ego. He could have dealt with jotaro right then and there. he could have had him waste those two seconds of time punching and deflecting the world, then bashing jotaro's head to bits with a single blow. But no, he had to finish in the most over exaggerated, extravagant metaphor for how superior he, DIO, is compared to the human Jotaro. He had to go out of his way, get a fucking steamroller and drop it on him, even though he, Dio, would have thought of the possibility of Jotaro stopping time. Dio loves to brag and insult his opponents, teasing and taunting him. He wasted so much time dicking around that Jotaro learned how to stop time. He could have just sucked Joseph off right after he killed him and then Muda'd the living shit out of Jotaro. Boom, done. All he would have needed to do is learn how to survive in the sun and he would be unstoppable.
Jotaro stopped time at the 9 Second Mark. DIO was able to move for 2 seconds, so that’s why he thought he could move for 11 seconds before he froze. He had already used up his movement time in Jotaro’s world of frozen time.

I always thought it'd be more satisfying if Dio had returned during Joseph's era and the pillar men awakened during Jotaro's time. The way it is, there's no justice for the people Dio hurt all those years ago, only for those he hurt that night. The people left to mourn Jonathan, Will Zeppeli, and all the others he killed are all long dead. The only person who even still knows the story is Joseph, and he said in part two that "the grandfather who died before he was born" meant nothing to him. If Dio had returned with Jonathan's body in part two, and Joseph had defeated him, it would've meant so much more. Erina, Speedwagon, Lisa Lisa, and Caesar would've had closure. But Erina will never know what happened to Jonathan's body, Speedwagon will never know how immensely he helped the Joestars, Lisa Lisa will never know justice for her birth parents or for Jorge Joestar II, and Caesar will never see the end of the fued his family had had with the stone mask.
Also, the pillar men, these ancient Demigods of immense supernatural power, returning after thousands of years would be a better way to introduce stands to the series than just "Dio's back, these are stands, forget Hamon, *Stands*"

He had drunk several people before that, and the woman in the shop was used to heal him, not complete him. Don't lecture people about paying attention when you can hardly do it yourself.

This leads me to believe that his left side was almost perfect at that point. Of course, this isn't really important, since the story ends the same either way. Oh, I understand what happened now. Dio's time stop hadn't extended further yet, and was still at nine seconds. Jotaro stopped time as soon it ended, right before he was crushed. As both their stands are the same, Dio still had the two seconds of movement like Jotaro had to move in the stopped time, and that's why he wasn't stopped immediately.
Actually it is because if two people stop time simultanously they can move at the same time, so what Jotaro has been doing this entire fight was stopping time himself

Dio's biggest strength and his fatal flaw is that he was cautious. When he had victory in his grasp he didn't take the risk and grasp it. Dio didn't seem to understand that sometimes you have to take risks to win the battle. Also Dio seemed to fail to comprehended a simple truth. Just because something doesn't last forever does not mean it is not meaningful. living a life with no regrets is far more important than victory because a simple truth in life is that it is not about winning or losing. It is simply about living the best life you can and leaving this world with no regrets. Jotoro won because he was human, rejecting the biggest gift we have of limited time makes you the biggest loser of them all. Because our time on the earth is limited makes it invaluable and far important. :P seems like I rambled on enough.
Value of time is not the only gift Dio has forsakened. It's his determination as well. Dio thinks that just because he's at the top of the food chain, he's automatically so strong that no one can ever beat him. He doesn't believe in bettering himself the same way the Joestars do. I mean, sure he's practiced stopping time often enough that he can stop it for longer intervals each time, but let's face it; That's just more "play time" for him to enjoy. Remember what he said about Jonathan. "The more you beat him, the tougher he gets." He just plays with his food, and that's also what caused his downfall.
Dio lost because he only ever thinks about winning.

Nah, even when he was certain, Jotaro still pulled out tricks. Going for a risk play wouldn't have mattered because we already know what Jotaro is capable of. He would've simply just have done his tricks earlier than expected.
It doesn't help that Dio does not know when Jotaro will activate his stand. The moment he comes close, his head will get popped off. So no matter how reckless or cautious Dio was, the result would be the same.
His downfall was due to his ego. He could have dealt with jotaro right then and there. he could have had him waste those two seconds of time punching and deflecting the world, then bashing jotaro's head to bits with a single blow. But no, he had to finish in the most over exaggerated, extravagant metaphor for how superior he, DIO, is compared to the human Jotaro. He had to go out of his way, get a fucking steamroller and drop it on him, even though he, Dio, would have thought of the possibility of Jotaro stopping time. Dio loves to brag and insult his opponents, teasing and taunting him. He wasted so much time dicking around that Jotaro learned how to stop time. He could have just sucked Joseph off right after he killed him and then Muda'd the living shit out of Jotaro. Boom, done. All he would have needed to do is learn how to survive in the sun and he would be unstoppable.
