Nice! Just went for a couple of dives in NY USA. Water so clear for the area 9º to 10ºC here. I saw a school of 100s of striped bass, but all seemed way below legal size. I got a tautog each time. Saw skates and a ton of horseshoe crabs mating. Skate I tried once. Too easy to catch, too hard to clean and not so much meat for the size. Your part of the UK seems to have a lot more reef than here. Posted some vids on my page. Great to see you diving and filming again.

I find it hard to predict visibility myself and would like you to please sum up the key elements you consider when planning for visibility. Hopefully I could try and adapt these to my local diving area (Morocco)

Random idea that you probably don't need... You could try a video format where you take a clip from a day when you were scouting spots and one from when you went back to it in-season. It could be cool to see it from start to finish, kind of thing. Just an idea. Your videos are so cool, it's not like you need to change them. Fr. Keep it up! 💯🔥

It would be good to get some recommendations of companies in Europe that are safe to order from. I’ve recently ordered from Europe and my order never turned up. Perhaps this is a company I could order from.
@Daniel Mann, one of your posts there was a video on float line, can you please tell me the rope name you used that in the video, i want to make a floatline.....
at 9:40, right before the shot, I can see that there is a rubber ring on your flopper, I thought you have forgotten to remove it and will lose the fish because the flopper will not open. But after the shot, I can see that the flopper worked just fine. How does it work? was it intentional or you really forgot to remove the ring and you were lucky that the rubber was removed from the shot?

I'm glad you had such nice viz for this dive. We've been getting pounded by heavy winds for the last month and it hasn't been worth getting out. Can't wait for the fish to start coming back into the shallows!

That giant crab was freaky! We don’t get things like that here in South Africa
They get much bigger than that. Had some last year pushing 1.7kg.

Id love to see how you prep your doggys! We have a load of them here in the Puget Sound. Never really thought about using them in a meal.
It’s just the skin in of them that is painful but I’d like to try some other techniques. They taste good though.

GPS on float is a great idea - might try that myself - I’ve a hand held
Vis was great for the area. Just make sure you have a waterproof pouch for the GPS and don’t leave the screen facing the sun.
When, we do get to see the lumpsucker! Very cool 😎, my buddy caught one a couple weeks back and had loads of "caviar" from it. Awesome video mate 😁👍
They are normally full of eggs but I didn’t feel like taking this one. Not sure what they taste like 🤷♂️

@@countryfisho7387 biggest fish in the UK is 5.7kg pollack, in Europe, 47kg halibut, in Australia I think a malabar cod around 40kg.

The flopper always opens with the O ring. No way it could stay on there. I have it there intentionally for diving in caves and kelp.

Friends from west cost Ireland got few seabass bigest was 4kg in about 1-1.5m deep shalow watter.
Quite a rare catch for that part of the world. Well done.

These lumpfish have very delicious caviars. You can just catch with hands, take carefully all caviars and release this fish back to life.

Up to 2km in Sussex I’ve swam offshore. Depends on the conditions of course!

Not at all, just follow the video instructions online and you must get someone else to do it.

I’m not sure of the Lumens but it’s an orca torch. The Omer moonlight torches are also great.

Make sure you hydrate before and during a dive. I also run quite a bit.
