A very professional job there Steve, and delivered inch perfect into the parking space! Big thanks to Ryan for letting you get some footage, and good to see you back again after such a long time-hopefully we'll see you again soon!👍🔧🚛Michael
Thanks Steve. Another wonderfully executed recovery. I love the way you look after the clients truck like its your own, taking care not to do any damage. Also thanks to Ryan for allowing you to film.
Hi Steve. Apologies for not commenting sooner, but so glad to see you back😊. I've missed you, and I've also just noticed that you've posted another one. Keep them coming Steve
Hey Steve! So great to see you back with another awesome video! The other day I was literally thinking, "Hmm, hope Steve the recovery dude is doing okay, haven’t seen anything from him lately." And bam, here you are! Thanks for posting! Seeing some of your footage really makes me appreciate the hard work and challenges you guys face out there. Every time I’m on the road, I always move to the furthest lane possible - I drive a 4x4, so I make sure there’s always a clear lane for you to work safely. I know recently recovery agents have been dealing with issues, especially with Highways England just doing lane diversions instead of proper lane closures. I saw GDb Official talking about the same thing-Highways only putting a lane 1 divert and watching for compliance instead of giving you that crucial lane 1 closure when exiting a refuge area. Honestly, I really appreciate the work you do. I was wondering, could you maybe put out a video for the public with tips that might make you feel safer when recovering? I know it's such a risky and vulnerable job, and I think a lot of people would benefit from hearing your perspective! Thanks again for all that you do!
Nice to see you back. Was checking a few days ago to see if you’ve posted any new videos. I’ve now got a night shunter / trunker role. No more multi drop stuff , like when I saw you that time you was pulling the dustcart out of the mud at that care home in Chalfont.
Great to see you back again Steve it’s been a long time since your last video. Fantastic job as always so much more interesting to see some of the driving as well. Keep the videos coming we need to see you at work it’s so interesting. Can’t wait to see the next one and stay safe buddy.
Just thought of you some days back, was wondering if you're still up to make videos...nice to see that you are still on it! Thanks for showing and taking us around a bit... 👍👍👍
Hi Steve, nice to see you back - it's been a while. Great work as always. The parking at the end is better than my attempts with the car. Thanks for sharing
Great video. Most interesting. Excellent coverage, explanation and commentary. Perhaps manufacturers could make the front lower valance removable to assist with breakdown recovery.
Nice to see you back. Question, why not leave the trailer and just take the cab? Customer could have sent another cab to pick the trailer up. Especially since it was fully loaded.
Rule 101 of haulage Never ever leave a loaded trailer anywhere other than a secure yard, DC, or depot, never leave a loaded trailer in a service station where it could be broken in to n emptied, as service stations are not secure or safe
@@HeavyRecoverywithSteve Yes I was there sore it all, I told the organisers to tell him to go a different way and they didn’t listen. I tried to help get the coach out he went out for, but the geeza was just digging the hole deeper and deeper.
Hi Craig thanks for watching , i would just call your local recovery up mate , experienced heavy drivers our hard to find so they will expect to have to train new staff . As Craig did with our company , with no previous experience he's turned out to be a top heavy driver now with over a year in the job.
@@HeavyRecoverywithSteve Awesome thanks mate! Ill give my local depo a call and give it ago! :) Ever since I started watching you're videos from the start made me want to do recovery work keep up the hard amazing work!
Hi Alistair , by connecting the Red line from my truck to the trailer it becomes a emergency line , so if the trailer comes separated from unit the air line will break causing the trailer brakes to be applied , stopping the trailer rolling away.
Nice to see you back steve
Thanks Mate.
Long time no see - you were missed. Nice job on the truck.
Thanks Frank for watching , nice of you to say.
Marvelous, thank for posting, really missed the videos!!!!

Hi Gary , thanks mate.
Glad to see you back. Does your truck has uprated brakes or just standard brakes like other lorries ?
Hi Mate , standard brakes mate but truck has a brake retarder as well which helps with brake wear.
@@HeavyRecoverywithSteve cheers for the insight Steve. im not a truck driver but love watching how you do your job.

Nice to have another video Steve BUT your editor still hasn’t changed the starting video of the wrong lane motorway .
Hi Bob , still not had time to change intro yet.
Fall has just about finished in central, Alberta no snow yet but it’s coming 😂😂😂😂
Thank for sharing Harry , keep safe.
Nice to see you back. Question, why not leave the trailer and just take the cab? Customer could have sent another cab to pick the trailer up. Especially since it was fully loaded.
Thanks for watching John , company not local to breakdown and you would not leave a loaded trailer full of drinks in services these days.
Rule 101 of haulage
Never ever leave a loaded trailer anywhere other than a secure yard, DC, or depot, never leave a loaded trailer in a service station where it could be broken in to n emptied, as service stations are not secure or safe
Alright steve, saw one of your works wreckers and the Old Army truck too at a Bus show that went completely wrong 😂
Hi Kieron , think he got stuck in the same hole that a bus did earlier , that was back filled mate .

Id of got ur passenger Ryan to release the trailer breaks, with it being that side as-well 😂
Hi Dave thanks for watching , i am sure he would of he was a nice chap.
Hey Steve
Hi Jacob
That new volvo over the back doesn't look right in my eyes
Thanks for watching and comments.
Why do you disconnect the red line and then connect to your truck?
You connect your truck to the tractor, can't the trailer be fed from that?
Hi Alistair , by connecting the Red line from my truck to the trailer it becomes a emergency line , so if the trailer comes separated from unit the air line will break causing the trailer brakes to be applied , stopping the trailer rolling away.
Hi Sir
Hi Ian thanks for watching.
What fizzy drinks were they?
