I was about to recommend the game to my nephew who's 7yo but after a couple of hours playing the game, one cult member started telling me one member is a fake/spy. Only then it hit me that the game devs really did take the cult theme srsly. 🤣 Then it tells you about sacrifices and cannibalism. Tf! I enjoyed it though. But def not for kids.
In defence of the lamb, if some other cult was trying to sacrifice me, I would fight to kill them just as an F you. Making a cult to rival them is just salt in the wound.
Spoilers below. To be fair, they actually sacrificed your main character at the very beginning, but the chained god brought you back to life after you made a deal with him to make a cult in his name.
I made them extra food before going to the final boss because I didn't know if I was going to come back and wanted them to have a bit of food after my possible departure 😭
“But these guys are some real freaks. I’m pretty sure I didn’t even ask them to do most of the stuff!” This line right here was my realization when I felt bad for my first sacrifice, only for a guy to ask me for a bowl of sh*t right after😂 Like “oh…. Y’all were f*cked up waaaay before we met huh?”
@@manga3040 if you change your play style and experiment with different stuff not at all. If you do the same things over and over then yes. It’s like using only the sword in an adventure game when you also have an axe, spear, heavy sword, etc. It’ll get repetitive if you don’t switch it up you know. So no, not repetitive 😅😅

While most AAA games go for gritty rendered 3D realism, the indy scene has some really great 2DCG art. I mean, just look at Hades for example.
It is, except for the times the art style makes it hard to see the baddies because everything looks the same
2d art is appealing to many, a couple of games could learn from classical roots by just changing their perspective
