Starting my very first custom motorcycle build this winter, decided on a mid 80s Goldwing and found you when looking for ideas. Not sure if I will video my build or not, I’m not very good at that, but I really like what you’re doing, respect for putting your face and work out there for everyone to see. Hey, first off thanks for the concern. I'm doing well just had to save up money and work on some other projects and other things and now I'm just getting back to the bike build. I've actually been working a lot in the background to do a one-of-a-kind throttle assembly. I bought a 3D printer and I've been designing and printing prototypes. You should look up my Instagram I've been posting a lot about it lately. I hope to have a new video soon once I get the Prototype wrapped up. That's awesome that you're starting a Goldwing build I'm glad that you found me videos helpful. That's why I started doing the videos in thefirst place I just wanted to give people ideas and inspiration for their own builds. I understand the budget, I will be working off a pretty strict one myself with 5 kids lol. Currently trying to get a 1950s Kelvinator refrigerator running. Thanks for the reply
You could probably put the cap on the radiator, turn it upside down and dump water in the upper hose to partially fill the radiator. That will give you a quick check of the brazing you did. It won't tell you if it will hold pressure, but it will make any leaks obvious.
yo you are an amazing builder im working on my gl1200 right now i have no experience and im learning with ppl like you, so far is working good, i convert my 4 carbs to 1 vw 1600 beetle under the tank and works perfect, i watched all your videos, waiting for your next videos
you have acetylene and oxygen and you could weld with brass wire and sodium tetraborate with a burner. that's called hard soldering, what you did is soft soldering and it won't last long because there are vibrations while driving. otherwise it's a good project
I bought my first bike a month ago or so, it's an 83 goldwing, I plan on doing the single carb conversion for ease of maintenance, your chanel is really dope and you give me inspiration for my own build

Yo dog, West MI. Muskegon actually. #michagangster .Our youth group at church makes a yearly 5 day camping trip in the UP. I'm one of the leaders/drivers. We camp in one central location and then every day we get up and head off to a location for the day. Its tons of fun! Beautiful up there!!
I just got a 83 gl1100 for my first bike and im doing the same thing to mine really want to see the carburetor build you do for this im putting dual 40 webbers in for mine and wanna see how its done.
Any more uploads or is this project becoming a long term project. I just finished building my gl1100 in 3 months time. Converted to a ultra classic lowrider/cruiser bike.

I hope you don't have any metal shavings in the radiator. Did you test it yet??
I vacuumed up all the shaving I could see. I haven't tested it yet. Plan to soon tho.
