My family used to own a caravan that we'd take on holidays, and we'd always play the PS2 that we kept in it when we weren't doing anything else. We don't have the caravan or the PS2 anymore... but this video brought back memories. Our favourite game was "Bomberman Hardball." Essentially it's a sports game collection with a bomberman mode as well, but we'd get so competitive over it. Especially the golf, for whatever reason. We also played a lot of Crash Twinsanity, and since I was just a kid it was the funniest game I'd ever played. It's also a pretty solid platformer, so I can see why we liked it. I'm pretty sure we had this game too, but apart from the cover art I didn't remember anything from this video, so that's probably a good thing.

Actually, I just thought about something. Maybe the games aren't trying to get you hungry for their product, but to associate with their brand more? Think about it. You play this game called Sneak King, and you end up liking it. You see a Burger King as you're being driven down the street by your parents, and you want to eat there by association. It's not out of hunger, just your appreciation for the brand makes you think "I should eat there sometime". Does it work under this idea? Iunno, probably not considering they don't make so many of these kinds of games these days.
As a quarter Canadian who lives in America, I praise smarties, every time I go to Canada to visit family I have to get some and when I went to Europe this past summer I had to get some, I’ve found an international food store that sells them here and I’m so happy about it

Anybody remember the Red Screen of Death? It scared the shit out of me when I inserted an NTSC PS2 game (Power Rangers Dino Thunder) in my PAL PS2 Console. It doesn’t help the fact now that all of my 2 copies of Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex don’t work anymore and will trigger the infamous error screen if you click on the PS2 Disc icon, wait for black screen, only to take you back to the menu screen with the words “Reading Disc” for a few seconds with no disc spinning noise from the console itself.

He left the room and came back, his cheeks full of smarties-mostly blue of course just to maximise the adverse affects- and got to work. With the power of synthetic dyes on his side he was unstoppable; children would be free to eat smarties once again! However, he passed out from sugar rush and never got the see the EPIC ending cut scene...heartbreaking.
It's funny; I always remembered playing through Smarties Meltdown like I would DOOM. A terrible, less polished version, but you can see where the inspiration came from. The final boss is one of *the worst* and the ending is just laughable BUT you gotta commend the devs for deciding to stick around and make a game like this; You wouldn't see something like that happening in the modern day especially for children, as the target market is now usually for more mature audiences. Interestingly enough, the developers that made this game were also responsible somehow for Broken Sword 5, so It's good to know a company panned for releasing a terrible video-game decided to redeem themselves.
