- The next piece in line of my Terranigma covers is a track that all fans of the original soundtrack might know quite well: "Open The Door", also known as "Into The Door" is one of the most famous tracks of the game's OST and one of my personal favorites, too. What's special about this track is that, while being full of atmosphere, the original piece is just a short loop that gets played several times (e.g. before recreating each several continents) during the game. I always wanted this to be a full-length cinematic track, centered around it's heavenly main melody so - that's what it tried while working on it :).

The outstanding soundtrack of Terranigma was originally composed by Miyoko Kobayashi (Takaoka) and Masanori Hikichi.

It's the greatest story ever told
Terranigma set the stage for other games with world change mechanics. It implemented consequences in JRPGs and popularized this mechanic.
It was easily on the level of the manaseries but overshadowed of the presence of new Era consoles.

When i was a kid, I believed hollow earth theory at one time because of this game.

I always felt that this track was underrated in the game. I liked the melody, but was not happy about its execution.
Now we finally got the execution it deserved. I love the clock-like feel of the background in the beginning.

I love it. Please more composition of this game. Dark Gaia theme, royalty, ending theme, leim's theme and more. There are so many original beautiful music of the game Terranigma. I whish one day i can hear your very greateful composition of this tracks.

Words cannot measure how great these 'covers' are. Only the music can express it and calling these tracks a cover is a gigantic understatement.

Roman, these orchestrations of the original themes are nothing shy of fantastic. I love how you manage to build on the themes of all the original songs, and this one is, in my opinion, your best one to date.
Man you are the best - i think overworld is my nr. 1 - yours and original. But this mix here and the idea of mixing the overworld theme into resurrection, amazing!

One of best soundtracks in Terranigma and your cover is really one of the best I've ever listen to. I love a cover when I got a clear vison in my head of Ark's situation and yeah I clearly saw this moment to open the door in the game.

Wie erwartet wieder ein Meisterwerk. Atmosphäre super eingefangen. Gänsehaut. Ich hoffe die Tracks werden noch bekannter auf TH-cam, damit wir weiterhin so tolle Werke bekommen. Und wer weiß, vielleicht kannst du die Tracks irgendwann vor einem live Orchester dirigieren :D

nicely done! my favorite track of the game. Amazing memories playing this with my brother and whenever we'd trigger this music we'd just sit back and smile. Kept a save file at this point in the game just to hear the music whenever we wanted

Wow, this is amazing....breathtaking. I’ve already saved Earth twice listening to this today, once from a meteor hitting the planet. The other time from a evil space pirate who kills the elderly and makes the inhabitants of the planets he conquers into slaves and then sells the planet to the highest bidder. Tomorrow I think I have a evil twin brother who wants a fight to death to settle the dispute of who’s the stronger brother....it’s gonna be a long week for me, I can see it already.
