  • Inspired by a recent collaboration with Mike I set out on the seawall to zoom all the way from 24mm to 6000mm in on each of Vancouver's Protected Viewpoints!

    Simply loved your collaboration with Mike Downie. When I arrived in Vancouver for the first time in 23 years back on Labor Day Weekend in 2018, I came out of the Canada Line station right there at the corner of Cambie and Broadway heading for my accommodation on West 11th. Thanks for the memory!

      Its the built in lens in the Nikon P1000 with a range from 24-3000mm

    awesome video Joel, found your channel through downielive! Thats one hell of a camera you've got! I'd imagine you could get some amazing zoom shots from grouse mountain zooming into downtown vancouver/various places! Subscribed to see what's in store next!!!

    Cool video!
    My only suggestion would be to slow down the edit/time of the area you're zooming in on.
    Just when you're getting used to the craziness of the zoom and appreciating it, you cut away to the next shot.
    Besides that, love the idea!
