You can tell you are a great dad. The little princess is mesmerized by you as you are talking (especially in the beginning of this video). Lovely family. God Bless.
08:40 Mazesoba opened another stop in metrotown (Station Square) near the 08:10 suggested dim sum spot. Meanwhile, for truly amazing ramen/Japanese noodle, I would recommend the newly opened Menya Itto on the Robson Street
As a local, this was lots of fun to watch, well done! Just a head's up on a coupe of things - Queen Elizabeth Park was mistakenly called Queen Victoria Park early on, in the parking portion; Granville Island is not actually an island but a peninsula, accessible by anyone, and the St Regis Hotel in Vancouver is not a luxury hotel, but a 3-star (barely), not to be confused with other luxury St Regis Hotels. The rest was spot-on, thanks! Nice to see the Lynn Valley Suspension Bridge mentioned!
I Watched this Video from the Philippines. I'm an American Expat over here (20) Years and in process of Migrating my Family to Vancouver, B.C . Lifetime Permanently. Absolutely LOVE this Video. Excellent presentation, extremely fun and informative, straightforward and Welcoming. Thank You, thank you. Your little daughter is so cute and well behaved. Wonderful Video
Okay so this is easily the best video about visiting Vancouver I’ve ever seen. Thank you for covering every detail. Your co-host is adorable by the way.
Hi Chris, I found your channel July 5th while researching Vancouver. I’m going there in two weeks and wanted to thank you for all the great advice and tips on your channel. I’ve been happily binge-watching! 🙂
12:22 FYI that St. Regis is not associated with the luxury Marriott brand in any way. This one shown here is just some independent 3 star that happens to be named St. Regis
The little princess is definitely value added to your vids! I watched you for Thailand/Southeast Asia, and you seem warmer, more secure, funnier, settled in these, plus she's a delight to watch-funny, loving, bright; she adores you.
I’m going to Vancouver in a few days, and you have touched some of the places that we would be going…..my dream is finally coming true. I’m going to Vancouver !! Thank you for sharing such great information with your beautiful daughter!!
One of the best travel tip videos I’ve ever seen. Great job. We were on the fence about going to Vancouver. Convinced us to go. your daughter was a great addition and fun to watch.
Thorough video. Just a few corrections- in Canada we say First Nations not Native American and we have provinces, not states so it’s the province of British Columbia
Your cops are called mounties and you guys pronounce the word "out" "oot" and you guys celebrate Thanksgiving on October, and what's up with Lonnie toonie 😂😂
Also YVR is not Canada’s busiest airport! That title belongs to Toronto-Pearson, YVR is second, but who really cares aside from aviation nerds like me 🤷♂️
@@kartikey92no we don't call our cops mounties, mounties are really only cops who ride horses and are more akin to something like the royal guard in the UK. Our actual police force is called the RCMP, royal Canadian mounted police (back from when they all DID ride horses). The Canadian accent is really more of a thing with older rural canadians, it's like Canada's version of a southern drawl but most of us don't talk like that at all. We celebrate Thanksgiving in October because our harvest season is traditionally earlier due to the fact it gets colder faster here and Thanksgiving is a harvest based festival. And the coin thing is pretty simple, we have one and two dollar coins, the one dollar coins have a bird called a "loon" on them so when they came out people started calling them loonies and then canadians being canadians decided pay as well call the two dollar ones "toonies"
One of the more accurate videos about Rain-couver. If you love Asian food, this is the place to come to. If you like to pay for parking everywhere you go. This is also the city to come to. Mind you, most shopping malls OUTSIDE of downtown will have free parking --- and all the same mall stores). If you want to avoid the rain, then late June to Mid August is generally warm and sunny. September is not bad either. If you like rain, then show up in late October and stay until Mid April. Vancouver will cure you of your love for rain. 🙂
aberdeen food court thank you!! most people don't mention it but that food court is so amazing!! like you said right on the way in to vancouver can't get any better than that
Wow!!! This is my first video of yours. Man, oh Man!! Lots of great information. I'm currently doing my research for my second visit to Vancouver. My first visit was just to pass through, and this visit is three or four days long (So i'm looking to expand into many different areas of sightseeing. This video was just perfect for me.) I'll definitely be subscribing and watching more of your videos. Thanks for all your detailed information. Happy travels to you and Princess.
I wasn't giving very much attention to your food. Most of the time I was busy watching your cute baby doll she is adorable 👧🏻baby. Thank you for showing our beautiful Vancouver City 🙏🏼❤😊🇨🇦
Nice video! I’m a born and raised Vancouverite … now living in Auckland. This is a great cure for my homesickness and a great guide for future visitors. 👍
Great video for someone like me who's traveling to Vancouver to attend the Vancouver International Film Festival this fall. Have learnt so much about the city. And the travelling princess is so adorable 🥰
Great vid. At 12:42 your girl just launched off the chair...haha Will be in Vancouver in 2 days (07/03/2022 to 07/09/2022), I am so looking forward to it.
Fantastic video, Chris! LOVE Vancouver! Definitely made me want to return for a visit! Had no idea about the Lynn Canyon Park! Will definitely visit! 🙂
20:08 - I understand the steam engine that raises the weights, these weights run the clock mechanism, is now connected to an electric motor as the steam engine isn't very reliable. Still a beautiful clock.
As a Canadian and has relatives (Aunts, Unkle's and Cousins) that live in Vancouver, thank you for honoring the Canadian way, especially in Stanley Park for the Canada Geese. And Grats to you for being such a good Dad! Mark Wiens could do better than shoveling food into his pie hole and pay attention to his little one.
Traveling to Vancouver in the summer and this was super helpful! Thanks Chris! Will you do more food videos of Vancouver? Heard the dim sum is really good there.
Hi Switchblade.. all the Vancouver videos we published are out now except one more detailing the Ferry ride to Vancouver Island. And we've got about 4 videos from Vancouver Island/ Victoria coming out
outstanding video ...packed with a ton of great information... you really show cased Vancouver ..your side kick is pretty cute ..!! great work from the camera lady as well
Thank you for the video and the traveling princess ! She is the show stealer for sure ! My wife and I love Ramen and so thank you for all the great spots to check out

Thank you Chris and to the little princess of yours. I liked the details and the relaxing short narration there. New subs here for the little one also . Glad I found this vid, will support your channel . Thank you for featuring Vancouver and BC. 🎉🎉
Vancouver is a beautiful city, but what surprised me the most while there is that there are no public restrooms/toilets/washrooms at the waterfront station. they do have a coffee shop at said station, if you drink the coffee you must hold it until you get back to the hotel.
That’s because if they had washrooms there there would be hundreds of junkies hanging around shooting up and washing their cloths. Vancouvers nice, but waterfront is close to the crack heads,
One thing you will wanna look for that wasn't mentioned is prob finding an airbnb by a skytrain, you can stay as far away as Surrey and make it into Vancouver in less then 40 mins
:)... "Native Americans in Canada"... First Nations ... Vancouver is very inclusive of the First Nations within BC lower mainland... acknowledging unceded territories of the local First Nations. This is true your missing out on some of the best Indian, Korean and Vietnamese cuisine. The Punjabi people basically built this province in the 50s and 60s they have some of the best food.
Your daughter is so cute! Great video. Lots of info. I haven’t been home for so long and planning what to do when I can take my kids there in the near future.
Come visit other parts of BC, you won’t be disappointed! So many beautiful spots and much less expensive than Vancouver. The Okanagan Valley (Vernon, Kelowna, Penticton) is a great place to holiday.
This is awesome I'm from Vancouver and everywhere I travel in the states I watch your videos and now you are here. Hope you enjoy the trip and welcome.
Lots of great tips here! Thank you so much for this video! Have not been to Vancouver since the pandemic. Really miss it and hoping to visit again soon!
Thank you for the info. I'm spoiled in Orlando, and I generally don't worry about parking or parking fees. Now I know I need to plan for parking as well.
It basically is never not raining here ☔️🤦♀️🤣 I’ve lived here my entire life and still am not used to it. Unfortunately Robson Street used to be a jewel of a shopping district but insane lease prices, Amazon, and the pandemic have caused so many closures. But it’s pretty cool that you could be skiing or boating on the same day. Great video Chris!
How many memories... When my wife and I visited Vancouver 12/14 years ago we fall in love from Canada so much that we decided have our first daughter there...

If you cross the bridges to the south (go beyond Richmond) you hit Little India in Surrey. Largest population of South Asians and all the curry dishes you could ever want. This is the suburb you will go through if coming through the Border via hwy 5. Queen Elizabeth park is amazing in the spring with all the cherry blossoms.

I caught that Queen park faux pas, and I'm from Kansas City!
I'm surprised you didn't mention the Native Americans or the Canadian State of British Columbia
What sort of weather can I expect in mid September?

This is the suburb you will go through if coming through the Border via hwy 5. Queen Elizabeth park is amazing in the spring with all the cherry blossoms.
This is fantastic video. I m planning to move there soon. By the way the travelling princess is so cute and adorable.
Thank you! 😃
