About the MP Q and A......Been working 6 days a week now from 0900 to 1900 not to include PT.. my school work, youtube and off course family. We're working on it as I already have a lot of questions just a day for everyone involved in it to be available

Archiezzle Games MP Q&A: Can I ask to join Airbourne and Air Assault?
I leave on the 27th My Fiancee and I want to get married after OSUT will I get consoled for it by Sgt Major? (Together for 2 1/2 years understands all the distance)
      How long are the hours?
Are there any perks to being an MP?
Do you like what you do? (MP)
I already signed up would just love to see these answered. Just trying to get some questions I've learned but other forget to ask.
      Thanks Archie

My husband joined as a PFC and he's been in for 20 years now (13 years as AD and the rest in the Reserves). He did a direct commission and is now an officer (a mustang). Use the money wisely, we saved up and planned ahead so both of us could get our graduate degrees. We met in college and then married 20 years ago and it's been hard at times, but as long as you plan and don't accept less than what you really want, it should be a rewarding career. My husband's goal was to become a federal employee and stay in the reserves which -thanks be to God- worked out as planned. Let more experienced members mentor you throughout your career (specially those first years) and it will all work as you wish.

Basically think what would an adult do but privates typically being immature will do the complete opposite of what is expected of them not to be mean but that’s the stereotype. As a private if you keep from getting in trouble become a PT stud and be where you are supposed to be 15 minutes prior with the right stuff. you will be ahead of your peers. I liked Archie’s point my grandfather served in the Normandy operations, hürtgen forest, Ardennes forest, and the occupation of Germany. My time in Germany is so much easier than his I have a bed to sleep in, I have heat, guaranteed meals, and running water. Life is very easy as a private. Bonus points if you start developing leadership traits that you like from your NCO’s and officers that you want to be like because believe it or not you’ll be training the next soldiers.

Hey ARCHIEzzle, I'm a new private just in the National Guard and I had my first drill weekend with my actual unit this past weekend. Saturday I was doing night qual with my m4, and I was not issued my gear yet, so I had to borrow one of my battle buddies, I was running around looking for some Kevlar and finally I found some. I have a huge head so I had to readjust it, and as soon as I could fit it they were starting. So I range ran over to the ammo point, and detail told me to lie and say I shot and quailed cause they wanted to go home. So I lied to my team sergeant and he later found out, he asked why I lied and told me not to do it again, the next day I went to go turn in my weapon to do range detail, so I cleaned my weapon last night so I thought I could turn it in and one of the sergeants who was in the supply room asked did my team sergeant inspect it and I said yes. He looked me in my eye and knew I was lying then I confessed and said no. So far do you think my NCO's think I'm a lying shitbag and I so how do you think I can fix it. Cause I was trying really hard not to be a shit bag my first drill. Please answer sergeant.

I knew my wife (ex) for awhile; met in 1999 and joined in 2003. We were already married. I can tell you even that can be difficult. Moving to my first duty station, we had to live in a hotel for 3 weeks paying out of pocket before we got housing. We were very lucky. Two people are separated while that person is in BCT and AIT, you can wait awhile longer.
Don't rush into marriage. Plan it. It's proven that rushed marriages tend to end in divorce.

I thought the same thing but have always wanted to. My father was a Green Beret and have always been drawn to the service. I got a degree and even spent some time as an over the truck driver, Class A CDL. I was overweight and wanted a change. My one and only video I've done on here, school related, was in July of 2016. That was about 2 weeks into my journey to lose weight. Since, I have lost 75lbs (268 to 193), joined the Indiana Army National Guard as an 09S (officer Candidate) and have kept going. Just keep a goal in mind and get it done.

Minnie Williams You should go check out Ericka Bernie's channel. She's stationed at one of the Army basic training posts and might have some of the answers that you're looking for. Good luck!

ladymadecrazy I second Ericka Bernie! Great videos. Also take a look into Selena Sanchez Giancola's videos. She is Air Force but is switching army and her videos are VERY specific. Instead of General BCT videos she will post specific ones, like food at basic, showering at basic, letters at basic, church in basic, tech school stories, etc. hands down one of the best military TH-camrs out there, you can see she posts to help others and not for the views.

The Army Belle I wouldn't advise that she do that. Many branches currently aren't accepting previous soldiers. I thought about going navy after army but then found out that you have to 1 get approval from you current branch and approval from the branch that you want to join.

If you guys have a joint bank account it will be fine. They direct deposit your money into your account, so as long as she has access to that account everything will be fine.

And don't forget, don't get injured or suffer PTSD cause the last three presidents have all gouged funds from veterans benefits including educational and housing benefits. So, good luck.
