the branch you join is completely based upon the wants and the goals that you have. I personally decided to join the Navy because it was the best fit for the future that I want.
It's all about your preference, if you want to get down and dirty, join the army or marines. if you want to learn or have a technical job, Navy is good choice. if you just want to drive a bus or sit in an office, air force is the way to go. if you just want to wear a uniform, coast guard is a great choice. good luck
Army Future Soldier here. Infantry come this summer. So obviously my favorite branch is the Army. Along with a history of Rangers in my family. Go Army!

NAVY FAM UNITE!!!!!!! I really have to say the education and travel options of the Navy won my heart over. I love sea travel, and and when I get my rate CTT I'll be doing a job I want while still being able to travel and see more than the "great" state of TN.

Great video Arch! I hope Drip is doing OK. I think you touched on it but one of the biggest factors is quality of life meaning living conditions/ quarters
A little bit about Marine mythology... 1. The US Army more often is the first to fight rather than the Marines. So are the Navy and Air Force. 2. The USMC is not a self-sufficient branch. It is part of the Navy, and lacks the personnel and kit to do all its own stuff. It gets routine fire and armor support from the Army, air support from the Air Force and Army, and taken places aboard Navy ships. 3. The US Army in the WW2 Pacific took more ground and defeated more Japanese forces, and with lower casualties. Soldiers also were involved in Marine combat operations. 4. The USMC is the only branch of the military that only survives thanks to an act of Congress passed in 1947. 5. The Army defeated more forces, captured more territory, moved swifter, and ultimately reached Baghdad first in the Iraq War, whereas the Marines got bogged down in a number of towns they ultimately circumnavigated rather than fought through after grinding to a halt. 7. During the Korean War, Army Task Force Faith fought a running battle for four days in subzero conditions against a Chinese army 8 times its size to protect the entire UN mission, including the First Marines. They fought on, against everything, despite being alone, taking 90% fatalities, and losing both commanding officers in combat. 8. Every Marine is a rifleman, but the Army has more riflemen than the Marines have men. 9. The Army pulled security in cities like Fallujah and Karbala, and managed to put in a state of stability. The Marines took over and promptly ticked off the locals enough to regalvanize the Iraq Resistance and nearly plunge the whole country into civil war. 10. USMC training is 13 weeks, but they learn all the same skills as soldiers. The Army training is 8 weeks. The reason for the difference is that the Army wastes less time on indoctrination and close order drill, spending more time on practical training. 11. There is no evidence to support that Marines are assigned to hotter or deadlier positions in Afghanistan. In fact, the largest and most infamous attack on a US position in Afghanistan, the battle of Wanat, was at an Army location. 12. There is no evidence to support that insurgents avoid Marines and target soldiers. 13. Marines were not involved in the battle and hunt in Tora Bora, but soldiers were. 14. US Army units are usually better equipped and get tasks done quicker and with lower casualties. 15. The largest amphibious assault in world history did not involve the USMC, but did involve the US Army. 16. There are very few exclusive USMC schools, and while other branches do not go to them, the Marines often go to schools hosted by other branches. 17. The USMC has the lowest retention rates and quality of life out of all services. 18. In WW1, 2,000.000 American Soldiers went to Europe, but only 10,000 Marines did. 19. Belleau Wood was a famous battle but it was only one part of the Argonne campaign. 20. There is no evidence supporting the myths of Teufelhunden or Bulldog Fountain. 21. The Marine Corps played minimal roles in the 18'th and 19'th centuries, with the exception of the campaign against the Barbary Pirates. 22. The USMC has MarSOC, but the Army has easily a dozen different SF outfits, and the other branches each have multiple SF outfits. 23. With the exception of a 3 mile run vs a 2 mile run, the Marines have the same physical requirements to graduate Basic as anyone else. 24. The Marines have the fewest school and opportunities of all services. 25. Indoctrination is not the same as education; the USMC favors indoctrination and the other services favor education -- and in the world of dynamic battles with incomplete information, the ability to think rather than recite is more important than ever.
Marines> every other branch I started joining the army and went through so much bull shit i was getting pretty irritated and then the marine recruiter called (blessing of god) and it's been so much better, they're actually organized, everyone there is great, real PT, they're disciplined etc. BUT FOR SOME REASON the army put me into the system still even tho I stopped talking to them, anyways we told the army ppl at MEPS to move my paperwork over to the marines at MEPS (takes 1 day to do) fast forward to yesterday and they still hadn't gotten it done so gunny made a call. They called back said I'm good to go, so we drive over 2 hours and as soon as we get to the hotel we get a call saying they mixed me up with someone else. So then we turn around and come back. So today they did the exact same thing to us so I've spent two days back to back in a fucking car bc the army guys at MEPS don't know their head from their ass and I'm falling behind in school and fuck there's so much other shit I could say about the army and my experience with them but whatever I'll be a marine thank the lord
Are you in High school or College? Also I wonder if most Army recruiters are like that, or if it's just that one recruiter or just the army people at that meps. I hope that the Navy's pretty organized :/
Jerod Rumney I'm a senior in high school, and not all army recruiters are like that because I use to live in Kansas and the recruiters there were great (tho their PT sucked) but since I moved down here it's been really pathetic. And I don't really have any experience with the navy, have you seen JTSuits channel? Him and some of his friends do navy videos on here
that's not a branch problem that just a specific recruiter. my marine recruiter just didn't submit me for a waver for one thing i was born with that doesn't effect me at all, and he said he would. told me that it would take months. then after not hear from him for moths i asked whats the progress.he said try another branch me thinking i got denied by the marines i later got stopped cause they said i lied while going to the army and i said i was denied by a military branch. and meps said i never applied for a waver also all meps are different. mine with fuck you over no matter what one kid had stretch marks on his stomach and said it was surgery. plus im like 30 mins from mine.
Nathan 475 if you had gone to the Army recruiter and them you were going with the USMC, it would have been so much easier. You just tell them to release the information and they should. You can't blame them for the mix up unless you spoke to them in person. Good luck with the USMC.
Jolene Hunter they were told a long ass time ago to transfer the papers over (not the recruiters the people at MEPS who I can't speak to in person) they keep saying yea we'll get it done and then they'll say I'm good to go and then both times they called as soon as we got to Jackson and said they got me mixed up with someone else and I can't come into MEPS
Man your story is somewhat like mine. Just enlisted in Ohio army guard. I worked at target and three jobs at one point and I can't swim lol! Love your videos man! They helped me out a lot!
Hey Archiezzle! I am having a hard time thinking of which military branch should I join for the OCS. I am torned between the Philippine Air Force and the Philippine Navy. I am 24 years of age, a registered and licensed architect in the Philippines, and it is really my dream to serve my country as well. (And I've thought of joining the military). Anyway, I just had clicked the "subscribe" button 'coz I like all of your video posts! They are very much informative for us who are interested in joining the armed forces! Kudos, kababayan! 👊
Im leaving for the army in march. The army in my country treat their soliders very well. The right balance of your personal and military life, high chances of deployment whether to a friendly nation or war zone, as well as great pay. The pay for a pvt is 48-53k a year plus alot benefits and bonus and high danger pay while on deployments. Small army but very top quality and history has proven our worth of being a very strong army, we also have one of the most elit SF groups in the world and one of the only SF groups to have us presidential citation.
Archie, Thank you for all the videos that you have done. I've just found your channel. It's has been very helpful for me. I'm a new recruiter and you have helped me so much, you have no idea. Keep up the good work and GOD bless you.
I joined the Army because i was joining the Military Police Corps and i felt that because the size of the Army i would have a better chance of being stationed somewhere that i would have a better chance of doing traditional police work as well as getting field training.
I got a lot of advice from my local American Legion, they tend to have veterans in them from WWII and guys who just got out, so when I went to the recruiter office I had an idea of A. How recruiters are and B. What branches these people recommend the most
Passed the NREMT first try! Now all is left is all skills. But it should be easy. Also not a day goes by that we (my co. ) doesn't get into it with the Navy. Either we start shit or they do. (Go Army)
Good! You're almost there and Whiskey side of the house will be more fun! Just a question do you have other soldier medics who watch my videos there? I got a few message saying so.. Just curious
+ARCHIEzzle first time go on everything. 81.67% GPA. First time go on NREMT and all my all skills. And I do know of another person that watches your videos! We just got phased up to phase V today. But if I hear of anyone else I'll let you know!
I was at MEPS and a future 68W reservist who's 18 broke the ice with our group of 4 army guys in the hotel restaurant by asking if we watch any of the youtube personalities. At that point I had only seen Strength Over Benches, a 92G, but he mentioned a few and since he was your MOS I'm sure he was talking about you.
Im planning on joining the marines after high school if college doesnt works out. Been talking to a air force retired teacher and looking up some videos and i want to go over seas not sure yet but looking forward to...
Would anyone be able to help me out with telling my Army recruiter that I want to join the Air Force? I need to tell him so I can get some medical documents back and I kinda feel bad for switching up on him
Dav you could get your air force recruiter to do it for you, that's what I did with the marines "I'm not willing to join unless you can get all my paperwork from the army because I don't wanna do all that again"
I was about to go Air Force, same as you Mr. Masibay. However, the recruiter doesn't seem like interested in me or not pumped up for me to join. I felt like i'm not welcome. Then little did I know, my sister enlisted in army, then I was recruited and enlisted. 10months of waiting... you know, GCARD holder.. gotta wait...GOING BCT THIS 20170227. Who else going this day?
Air force family popz did 20 and doing 20 as a civilian doing the same job on base brother did 8 years so I had to pick joining the Army just to be different..
I am super close to enlisting in the Army, already filled out my packet and taken my asvab and ready to enlist but after doing a lot of thinking I think I'm gonna go with the Air Force just because they seem to suit my career needs the best.
With the Army, you can pick your job as long as you're qualified for it. You'll be waiting in DEP for a long time with the Air Force. The Air Force also can't guarantee your job.
In the Air Force, you will be in DEP for a looong time. My buddy just signed with the Air force, and isn't shipping out until October, also, he couldn't get the job he wanted.
Dav If the AF is what you want then go for it no matter what. Because you'll be unhappy in the Army wondering what it would be like if you had joined the AF like you wanted. No one wants to be salty and unhappy for 4 years or more straight.
Before i went to meps i told my army recruiter i had bed bug bites. He told me it was okay to go. They're the doctor, let them discover.. so after the meps, I wasn't disqualified and they just let me have an appointment with a dermatologist. Im glad mabait yung recruiter ko at hindi niya inisnob yung situation ko. Feeling ko talaga gusto niya akong makapasok at gumagawa siya ng paraan.Tomorrow, im going back to meps but only para sa skin nalang, I don't need to undergo the whole process again. I really hope i pass this time.. Kaso my uncle and dad is holding me back because they want me to join the AF since I'm a female daw po. And ayaw nila akong mahirapan at maging kawawa. I don't know what to say and do to encourage them to let me join the army. 😕
Connie Ariston If you hate insect bites, it might not be a great idea to join either the Army or Marines. In the Army, and also Marines, we go to the field. We stay in the field, usually for weeks at a time. You will get insect bites even with insect repellent, out in the field. So it might be a better idea to go do the Air Force, because they don't do the field (among a gazillion other reasons, they are arguably the best branch to join because they don't do all the dumb bullshit we do in the Army). Think about that before swearing in to join the Army (or Marines). Hell, in the Army and Marines, we also have mandatory group PT early in the mornings. Mosquitos are most active in dawn and dusk. So yeah, there are times when we get bitten in the neck by mosquitoes, because we have to stand in long formations outside before we start PT. We have to suck it up because we are the Army and Marines, and that's "tradition" The Air Force usually lets you do PT *on your own* and you often don't have to report for duty until like 9 or 9:30 as opposed to 6AM in the Army. Then in the Army, we have much worse barracks if you are not married, where you will deal more with roaches, bed bugs, fleas and other insects. If you stay unmarried, you'll have to deal with this for a much longer time, until you reach the rank of e6. In the Air Force, you can leave their barracks (called "dorms" which tells you that they are better to be in) when you reach the rank of e4. Think about all of this before you swear in the Army. I'm in the Army.
I was really close to signing an infantry contract with the Marines but I decided to put it on hold so I can have more time to think about tht decision. My interests are between army and marines. Army Infantry or Marine Infantry? I'm also interested in Special operations : Rangers, Green Berets, MARSOC or Force Reconnaissance. Help?
Raider I3 same case scenario here if we may recive anything or any help i mean we both want combat jobs but we also must focus on the other benefits we may receive and don't forget the uniforms as well super hard decisions to make
I want to be a mp in the military and i am torn between the army and the air force. I want to pick the one thats going to help me in the civilian life the most. which one has the best security clearance? And which branch would be better to do military police?? Which one transitiions better to civilian life??
Ok i have a question. it may be dumb or already answered in the past but anyways... what are the limitations on wearing your uniform? can you wear it all the time? like... anywhere or can you only wear it at specific times and then you have to wear civilian clothes the rest of the time? BTW I love watching your videos. makes me excited for joining the Army.
My uncle joined air force as a radar tech,my dad joined the air force as an aircraft mechanic and two of mt grandfathers were in the army one in the intelligence specialist and the other in the artillery crew.....im so scared and i dont know whether i should continue the land branch or a sea branch....😂
Real talk though guys I'm struggling to pick branches here. I want to be a nurse someday. So I am considering 68 C in the army to get my foot in the door plus certification guarantee. Then switch over to RN when graduating nursing school. But my issue is I hate my recruiter. She doesn't have any info on 68 C and I think I know way more about it than she does. Also she doesn't help. I looked up the navy and I see they have navy corpsman but I dont want a technical job. What should I do? Also my asvab was 2 points lower than needed on gt for 68 c so I am retaking it hoping to easily get it this time around. I dont even see any potential jobs leading to nursing in the Air Force, or the Marines. So should I stick with 68C and pick up my ASVAB score+find a new recruiter. Or go into the navy as a Navy Corpsman and later finish my degree for nursing?
Hey I want to go to west point but I'm not a US citizen, can i apply to a US naturalization on Army reserve? Can I apply to west point during the 4 year contract? I'm 20 years old and i can't wait until the contract ends since I can only apply if I'm under 23y.
I was going to joined the military. But the recruit said I look like some European spy. Lol 😂 nah this just a joke. But I wanted to join the Air Force or coast guard. But I changed my mind and thinking of joining the police academy or FBI
i cant swim to but i just love being in a pool i float and do not really go any deeper in 6 feet but some times i go to 12 but i do not do that to much cuse it scares me
Hey Archie just wondering if I try to go to meps but they tell me the MOS I want is not open can I wait until it is or do I have to pick something at that moment? thanks, keep up the great work on the videos.
You can reserve an MOS with your recruiter if there are slots open. MOSes are officially picked at MEPS in the liaison office for what branch you are joining for. For me, I took the ASVAB at MEPS and qualified for my job that i wanted. Called my recruiter and he reserved a spot for me.
Ben McInerney PJ is a different world if you wanna be Special Operations then PJ is your best bet, but understand that Superman school(PJ Selection) is on par with Recon Marines BRC, BUD/s for SEALs, or SFAS for Army Special Forces (which I went through 18D NG 20thSFG) just make sure you do your research make sure you know what your getting into.
kuya.. i hope u understand tagalog..because i am a filipino.. i am born and raised in the philippines but somehow i dream to become in the navy... still though i am living in the philippines but can i ask how and what are the things that are needed to be part of the US military?
heisuki rose yea basically what bob said. 92M your really just working with the deceased, shipping them out and collecting information. Not necessarily working inside of a morgue
all depends on what job you want or qualify for and which branch best suits you. I'm doing the Marines and don't give in to that you're too smart for a certain branch BS people try and tell you because they tried it on me.
yup guess I have a lot of question to ask and thank you for being such an approachable kababayan,, can you speak our native language if you can that would be cool cause it would be a lot easier to talk and express my questions .

Thanks for the vid, man. Was talking to Marines guy for awhile but thinking about another one now, I'm already 26 D:
Great video and that's great advice
I will - thank you for that
I to do Navy because travel and see different places. I can't really swim either but, something I plan to learn.
NAVY will help you pass the swim test in boot-camp..But learn to swim on your free time..
Im planning on joining the marines after high school if college doesnt works out. Been talking to a air force retired teacher and looking up some videos and i want to go over seas not sure yet but looking forward to...
I'm going into the navy!
Would anyone be able to help me out with telling my Army recruiter that I want to join the Air Force? I need to tell him so I can get some medical documents back and I kinda feel bad for switching up on him
Dav just tell him, he'll understand.
Love the knowmads intro song
I am super close to enlisting in the Army, already filled out my packet and taken my asvab and ready to enlist but after doing a lot of thinking I think I'm gonna go with the Air Force just because they seem to suit my career needs the best.
With the Army, you can pick your job as long as you're qualified for it. You'll be waiting in DEP for a long time with the Air Force. The Air Force also can't guarantee your job.
True that. I joined the army, got the job I wanted, and wait has been only 3 weeks from enlisting to shipping out.
Actually i'm DEP for the Air Force right now. I swore in on January 4th & am leaving on March 14th.
Once I finish ROTC I will be commissioning in the ARMY as a military police officer. I have plans to go federal after I leave.

If you hate insect bites, it might not be a great idea to join either the Army or Marines.
We have to suck it up because we are the Army and Marines, and that's "tradition"
The Air Force usually lets you do PT *on your own* and you often don't have to report for duty until like 9 or 9:30 as opposed to 6AM in the Army.
Archz can u make a video about what is an army deployment like for example do you do your job or something like infantry..?
Most wear uniform Mon-Fri, I have also seen some who wore the uniform on Sat-Sun, BUT they were National Guardsmen and Reservists.
dont wear it outside of bases, and act like you get free stuff..
The only reason I don’t really wanna join the marines or army is because I don’t wanna die
Arch any insight on coast guard. Viewers please also feel free to give me insight as well !
Or go into the navy as a Navy Corpsman and later finish my degree for nursing?
howd things work out for you?
Could you do a video on the challenges of being married and having a family while in the Army?
I had thought of that before and I'll have flor in that vid as well
Hey I want to go to west point but I'm not a US citizen, can i apply to a US naturalization on Army reserve? Can I apply to west point during the 4 year contract? I'm 20 years old and i can't wait until the contract ends since I can only apply if I'm under 23y.
I was going to joined the military. But the recruit said I look like some European spy. Lol 😂 nah this just a joke. But I wanted to join the Air Force or coast guard. But I changed my mind and thinking of joining the police academy or FBI
And On a side note marine reservist get guaranteed jobs before they leave as long as it's open for reservists
Hi! just came from Kyle's channel.
+william crespo hello! Which video? I'll try my best to be cool as him
I came from Kyle's Gott last video called forced positivity. Dude I already sub to your chanel! No worries you are cool and inspirational :)
i cant swim to but i just love being in a pool i float and do not really go any deeper in 6 feet but some times i go to 12 but i do not do that to much cuse it scares me
Yo Archiezzle you probably get this all the time but what's the song for your intro?
It's from iMovie ;)
ARCHIEzzle just found it, thanks!
people always say that if your join the army your gonna die..... gets annoying but there are chances
like any branch
adrian estrada Yeah but that's something you risk every time you get in your car too.
adrian estrada most likely if we fight the Russians
and the russian army isn't trained good enough. almost all of them are alcoholics
I'm curious what made people choose the branch they did. if people want, tell me what about that branch made you choose them
The Army of course!
Hey thanks for the info man.
the usa army is the best I want to be a army recruiter when I get into the army
Hey +ARCHIEzzle, I was wondering what base your working at.
brentwood ca army recruiting. I was in germany, fort hood and kuwait at one point
you were close to my hometown San Antonio, you did Human Resources right?
if you wanna be a army recruiter can u actually choose your station. or how does it work.
what should I pick USAF PJ or Us Navy air crewman
Ben McInerney PJ is a different world if you wanna be Special Operations then PJ is your best bet, but understand that Superman school(PJ Selection) is on par with Recon Marines BRC, BUD/s for SEALs, or SFAS for Army Special Forces (which I went through 18D NG 20thSFG) just make sure you do your research make sure you know what your getting into.
I think air force is the most desired branch, but im a glutton for punishment, I would go back to the Army. I just hope we invade something again. ha.
Did you graduate college before enlisting in the Airforce?
No bullshit it could probably take you about 10 minutes to learn to swim.
for me is the army because the sea is not for me and I don't know how to swim yet and always like me the green of the army and the jungle
kuya.. i hope u understand tagalog..because i am a filipino.. i am born and raised in the philippines but somehow i dream to become in the navy... still though i am living in the philippines but can i ask how and what are the things that are needed to be part of the US military?
what would be a good branch for someone thats always hyper
Take my pretest for the navy next month
But don’t you have to swim in PT?
Did you processed with the Army having hemorroids?
Funny how people rag on air force cause they'd rather work smarter not harder😏
The best branch is the one you join.
i know that I'm late but in the army is there a mos that allows you to work in the morgue
heisuki rose look up MOS 92M its a Mortuary Affairs Specialist. That mos is Probably the most related one to what your looking for
heisuki rose yea basically what bob said. 92M your really just working with the deceased, shipping them out and collecting information. Not necessarily working inside of a morgue
My whole family says im gunna die if i go but im still going to join ether the navy seals or army
ARCHIEzzle can I join the Army if im 17 if so what do i and my parents need to do for it to be possible?
Talk to a recruiter...lol
from my knowledge you can join at 17 but your parents have to sign a waiver for you to get in.
Can you join the army with GERD?
Dont know if I should join marines or army its really confusing
all depends on what job you want or qualify for and which branch best suits you. I'm doing the Marines and don't give in to that you're too smart for a certain branch BS people try and tell you because they tried it on me.
I'm debating between air force and army
What about the Green Berets?
how long have you been serving?
+Alexander Abes almost six
ARCHIEzzle woww thats long ,, im aspiring to be a marine and 2 weeks from now ill be taking an exam for asvab.. Im a filipino too
If you have questions let me know. Pinoy Power
yup guess I have a lot of question to ask and thank you for being such an approachable kababayan,, can you speak our native language if you can that would be cool cause it would be a lot easier to talk and express my questions .
oo naman syempre
They wanted me to join the navy and I am not a good swimmer
if I could switch I would go army because to be a whiskey
What about the Navy Seals?
whats the song name at the beginning of the vid?
Air force 😎
You didn't join the navy because you didn't want to learn to swim? Why didn't you really want to join the navy? Lol
That's my parents they don't want me to join the army
I'm going to join the coast guard in a year
nickh1234 1357 how’s it goin
Marine Corp has the most effective propaganda pr machine in history. Wonder why the Corp only has a 25% retention rate after marines first 4 years🤣😂
You should have joined marines or navy
I'm planning on being a marine. Oorah
what's the song in the intro
i wanna join the british royal marines
the marines cause why the he'll not
What is ur beginning song
It's from IMovie

#armystrong@@!!
Smart and lazy- Airforce
Traditional and Conservative - Army
Insane and deadly- Marines [ Semper Fi ]
