    Vader made the right decision. Whenever you encounter something ancient and powerful that you don't understand in this type of setting, and has malevolent intentions, you run no matter who you are.
    There's no shame in running from a fight you can't win. I think given enough time and preparation, he would have been able to overcome them, given his own power, but the lack of knowledge is what kills him. It's pretty hard to fight an enemy you know nothing about. And the fact that both Celeste Morne and Karness Murr had been erased from the archives, and forgotten by the galaxy meant that Vader had no knowledge of their abilities. He was flying blind.

It's a shame Disney won't even try to include some Legends material. The most frustrating thing is that they will occasionally copy legends material and then not credit it but go a step further and (as it seems) plaugerise it!

    From what i read he didn't run away because he scared or terrified , he retreated which has diffrent causes , he didn't retreat cause he was scared or got beaten , he retreated because had failed his mission and there was no need for him to be there no more plus his men had been turned against him and out numbered him so what's the point of him staying , he went there to find a artifact hoping he could use it to take down his master and realised he would just be trading one master for another , he also realised that the apprentice he could have had was already under the influence of another and would end with him just killing her which gains him nothing for being there no more. He had already beaten her in a 1v1 with ease but she used the power to turn his men against him and out number him so he decided to retreat.

    • @crowwithinternetservice
      @crowwithinternetservice ปีที่แล้ว

      The ancient Jedi had to get amped by an ancient Sith to even match a modern Sith lord. I don't get the people who think the modern fighters are weak compared to the old.

    • @InfiniteNaos
      @InfiniteNaos ปีที่แล้ว

      @@crowwithinternetservice That’s an interesting point, but you need to understand how much weaker a modern Sith compared to the Ancient Sith. Plagueis himself was having trouble getting the midichlorians to do his bidding when an Ancient Sith would’ve forced it at will. Plus, the modern Sith lost a lot of knowledge about the Ancient when the Brother Hood of Evil was in power. So this is understandable why Ancient Jedi or Ancient Sith were much more combative and fluent in the Force than Modern Sith and Modern Jedi for that matter.

    • @crowwithinternetservice
      @crowwithinternetservice ปีที่แล้ว

      @@InfiniteNaos Plagueis was also stated to be above every sith in the banite order before him. Who in my opinion are above the ancient Sith. Sidious, Vader surpassed him. Palpatine has access to thousands of Holocrons containing ancient knowledge of the darkside.

    • @InfiniteNaos
      @InfiniteNaos ปีที่แล้ว

      @@crowwithinternetservice Possibly, but his personal feats weren’t quite up there with the Ancients. Read some of Legends material and you’d know what I would be meaning. Still though, I see your point. Out of the entire Baneite system it did culminate down to Sidious. I agree out of the entire Rule of Two Sidious was the very best they ever produced, but against the Ancients I would have to disagree. Even Lord Momin saw the current Sith as nothing more the Jedi obsessed weaklings in his eyes which would make sense. The Old Sith would focus not only war against the Jedi but also the DarkSide while the Ancient Jedi did the same thing but focused on the LightSide, hence why both Orders were fairly powerful when it came to Force attunement, but once the Sith were gone for a millennia, Rule of Two, the Jedi no longer had an adversary to keep them in shape as well as surrendering themselves to the Republic not the Force. Vice versa with the Sith hiding in the shadows learning what little knowledge of the Ancients was left and mainly being focused on the extermination of the Jedi while using the Force as a tool to a means of an end with Tenebrous, Plagueis, and lastly Sidious.

    • @crowwithinternetservice
      @crowwithinternetservice ปีที่แล้ว

      @@InfiniteNaos Momin was arrogant in thinking the darkside thrived with him and 'loved' him. He was immediately killed by Vader. Sidious could create wormholes and decimate entire planets with his force storms. He's also stated to be the most powerful Sith of all time more than anyone else. By the time of ROTS he's already above beings such as Tulak Hord, Naga Sadow and Exar Kun. Years later by ROTJ Vader is said to have the power to kill Sidious.
      About Treya's quote of the sith of new being fodder to the ancient Sith I don't see it having much weight. As Vitiate and Revan are clearly above those seen before them. Treya isn't the most reliable source either with the amount of hypocrisy she has.
      The Ancient Sith are overrated. In terms of power at least.

But he didn't ran because of terror; he ran because he was overwhelmed and outnumbered. When Celeste Morne uses the power of the force and the talisman, humanoids becomes corrupted and deformed into monster's. And all of the clone troopers were turned, ultimately making Vader flee because of share numbers. Vader doesn't fear, the only thing he fears of and losing is Sidious.

    You called Cade Skywalker Vader’s ancestor when he was his descendant

    I think he shoulda been smart enough to realize that the stormtroopers being turned was the reason he lost and not feared someone he could beat in a duel.

    I don't understand the ancient sith or jedi being so strong? If the full point of the rule of two was to make each sith stronger than any generation before them, and taught everything previously known and built upon, then surely Vader would be much much more powerful than any ancient sith Lords before him?

      @freedomdude5420 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That’s where knowledge comes in sure they might’ve been more powerful on some degree but without the knowledge of it of the ancient Sith it wouldn’t matter.

    It could easily be a deceiving battle Tactic to lull his enemy or threat/s into thinking Vader was being beaten back!
    Given how cunning and intelligent Vader was, it's likley this was also a battle tactic he used - albeit very rare though

    I feel Vader would also be very concerned should someone like Vitiate return. Not only because of the potent power of Vitiate but also, if Sidious have not struck the name of Darth Marr out of the book of Sith, Vader might have learned that a joint force of the Dark side AND the light side. Which would have pissed of Vader immensly.
