    That looks awesome! Hoping to take my 23’ 450 HO Sportsman out to Chadwick this summer! My first nice 4x4 quad, coming from a 13’ Recon ES 250, and excited to get more into some technical riding like this. You can do it on a 2wd 250, but it’s a work out for both you and the machine!

      Hi dm, Yup Chadwick has plenty of technical trails and it’s a fun place. We are going to try and make it back there sometime this year as well. Congrats on the new machine!
      Have fun on your trip there to Chadwick ride safe!

    What a predicament to be in (16:00~17:43 min) area. Scary when you can't turn back. You handled it like a superstar. At the 23 min time was another situation I fear. Thanks for sharing.

    After doing the ride we did on the Hatfield McCoy trails I’m hooked on exploring more trails that are like this. I love the mud but sometimes it’s nice to do a ride like this and simply enjoy your surroundings. Awesome video! Really helps when planning future rides being able to get a full perspective of it all.

      North Country Boyz .. Speaking of Hatfield & McCoy we were there last September and run in to some folks from New York. If I’m not mistaken that’s where you’re located? We are headed back to Hatfield McCoy this September.
      Looking forward to it should be a blast!! Anyways yeah our machines are not set up to do deep mud riding so mainly we just trail ride and explore. But we still play in mud from time to time.LOL
      Thanks for checking out the vid and appreciate your comment !!

      KC ATV World yessir. Northern New York for myself and majority I ride with. The “sticks” of the state 😎.
      Loved the riding there! We stayed at the Ashland resort in northfork. Great place to stay 👌🏼. Did the outlaw trails after a guide offered to take us all on them which was definitely not expected! Talk about insane trails but they definitely beat the $hit out of the bikes built for mud and our bodies. Lol. Hoping to get back there next summer too. Depending on what the mud nats in Texas costs me.

      North Country Boyz .. Yeah we stayed at the browning fork trail house, in the town of Gilbert

      @@kcatv9556 sorry for the delay in getting back. Check out the service bulletin on 2016-2018 Grizzlies, and Kodiak. They put the wrong size piston ring in most of these machines for that time frame. I submitted a request for repair, and with some help from a local dealer got the whole top end replaced new for free by Yamaha. The sign was my machine required oil running a mere 80 mile trip, and what really showed was when it got colder it would smoke until the piston ring warmed to make the seal. Uts something to look into if you're experiencing any of the aforementioned symptoms with your machine? Again, great video! If you ever wanna ride the mountains of the north feel free to let me know. I ride approx 4hrs up in New Hampshire.

    • @kcatv9556
      @kcatv9556  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@actionvidyo Hey Mark thanks for that info. I was unaware of that issue or technical bulletin? The only thing I noticed with her machine back in 2016 after the first oil change it smoked on first start after short ride around the yard.
      I had it filled to the top of the full Mark on the dipstick.
      I assumed that was the issue so from then on I run it right in the middle of the hash and have never had an issue since then. It doesn’t really burn oil between the 50 hour oil changes, no more than my grizzly with the 686 engine.
      Thanks again!.

      @actionvidyo 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kcatv9556 well hopefully yours isn't one. Mine was, and it was nice to have Yamaha as a Corporation stand up and set the repair forward for me, amd others who may have had the issue. You can check by the VIN to be certain. Its just a call or stop to the dealer. Ride on!

      @kcatv9556  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dustin Odle .. Yup Wolf Pen Gap, We rode that area I believe it was back in 06 or 07. Had a good time.
      If you’ve never been to Chadwick I think you’ll really enjoy it, it may not have as many miles of trails as Wolfpen but it’s definitely got some technical staff.
      The trails are also a lot narrower and tighter since they only allow ATV and motorcycles no side by sides, so you have to be 50 inches or less to ride there. Thanks for watching and commenting really appreciate it!!
