I just made reservations at a cabin at Fat Boys ATV Lodging in Delbarton, WV that is on the Buffalo Mountain trails for March. From your video, this looks to be a great trail! I can't wait to go!
Man Rob that sounds cool! I’m sure you’ll have a good time. Are you going with anybody? We’ll be going somewhere down in Arkansas towards the end of March or first part of April. Once we get the date and location figured out I’ll send out a group text to everybody. Thanks for checking out the video!
@@kcatv9556 nope, just me. Some local riders on a HMT facebook page said they would be willing to ride with me so that is great. Let me know about AR; I will be at the HMT trails the last week of March, though.
@@yobnpookie I will let you know when we get the date nailed down.. Thinking about going back down to Mulberry and riding some of the trails that were in the area we rode last time but didn’t get to ride. We typically go the last week in March too though go figure.
After riding most of our trail systems in lower peninsula of Michigan of 55 miles, we went to the upper peninsula of Michigan, rode 160 miles from Paradise to Grand Maria's. And back. THAT was a long day.!
My wife and I love the Hatfield McCoy trails. We go down there about 2-4 times per year. I would recommend staying in War at some point (AirBnB: A Bit of Heaven is where we have stayed) and riding the Warrior, Pinnacle (I know you have been there), and Indian Ridge systems. Take a day and ride from War to Pineville for lunch at Ole Jose's! About 102 mile round trip.
Yeah when we make our way back to HM would like to stay at a different place just to experience something different. That sounds like that would be pretty cool to ride from WAR to Pineville for lunch. We like doing that type stuff! Thanks for checking out video!
Hi , 2fast65 .. Thank you so much for the kind words. It means a lot to us when folks say they enjoy the videos. Thanks for taking the time to check them out!
Heyyyy! Frankie Thanks for the kind words! It means a lot hearing that from you, Q and others. You guys know what it takes to put these videos together. Glad you enjoyed it. There is one more to come of our last day there and then that will be it for 2017 videos. Hopefully we get some snow this winter and we will try to get out and do some riding in the snow like you Canada boys do hahaha Thanks for watching and commenting my friend! Have a marry X-Mas and a happy new year!
Well if you don't get any snow, just head over and come see me or Q. I'm sure we both have plenty to go around. lol.. Merry Christmas buddy to you and the family.
LOL...Back East. Just screwing with you. KC it's been a pleasure watching your videos this year. Looking forward to your videos in 2018. Ride safe, and Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Hi Todd.. Hahaha back East your right. Thank you very much for the kind words! Glad you enjoy our videos! Hopefully next year we'll have more interesting videos. Thanks for watching and commenting! Merry Christmas to you and yours as well!
Lots of history in those mountains, cool going thru the pipe. A long way to go for sure to get to Buffalo Mountain. 100 miles in one day is tuff. Thanx Fer Sharin
Hey! Bob good morning! Yeah you're right there is A lot of history in that area . It seems as though they built those trails in those mountains around all of that stuff. Makes it an interesting place to ride. Yup 100 miles was a long day that's the most we've ever done in one single day. Thanks for checking out the video Bob greatly appreciated! BTW were you able to spot that face in the pic?? Have a marry X-Mas and a happy new year my friend!!
KC ATV World Just got back from H&M trails. Rode ROCKHOUSE, Devil Anse, Buffalo Mountain, Bear Wallow. It’s a lot of riding in 4 days. Our second time there within 5 months. Went to Royal Blue in Tennessee in July and it’s not near as fun as H&M trails. We had to get a tablet with GPS of all the trail system though because last time we went we would sometimes get lost even with the paper trail maps. Good job on the video.
BobElgin You missed an awesome view at the tunnel at Twin Hollow Campground. I guess that trail was temporarily closed that leads there. To the left is Twin Hollow campground with cool cabins and an awesome view. Maybe next time
Hi Patrick, yeah, I hear ya it takes a lot for us to make that trip to Hatfield McCoy. Definitely a fun place to ride! Thanks for checking out the video.
That was an excellent video! Nice job with the music while driving to the cemetery & I like how you left the road driving in (on FFWD). It let's all of us who may never get down there a chance to see the buildings and stuff. And the cemetery was very cool too! That cliff you were riding beside at the 10:30 mark was WOW! Couple'a full moons - HAHAHA!!! I was hoping you were gonna go into that cave at the 19 min mark, but nope - sigh - lol. Why didn't you give Ms.K a "ding" for her awesome "Ichin' to ride . . . " joke at 21:10? - LOL - I thought it deserved a ding. Nice work KC! Thanx for sharin'!
Heyyyy! Q! .. Good morning! Buddy you're right you're right the itching to ride comment from Ms K. deserved a ding I missed that one. Wasn't sure if anybody would catch on to the full moon comment couple of them. LOL! Yeah I thought the scene with us riding down the road to the cemetery was interesting. I wanted to shorten it up a little so that's what I came up with. Glad you enjoyed the video thanks for the kind words.I'm just learning from more experience filmmakers like yourself eh! BTW were you able to spot the image of a face in the pic ?? Anyways thanks for the awesome comment and have a Merry X-Mas and a happy new year! Maybe mama will get you something real... nice!! Ding! hahaha
Mamma already got me something real nice - DING!!! HAHAHAHA!! I stared at that picture of the face for quite awhile trying to find it & I think I did, but it was kinda weak, so I'm not sure I was seeing the same face as you were pointing out. I'll have to go back & have another look. BTW, TH-cam has messed up again and now I'm not getting any notification on comments. I had to open this video again to have a look for your reply to my comment. F****ing idiot TH-cam programmers!!!
Hey! Buddy you crack me up! I was imagining your voice getting higher and higher and then you were screaming at TH-cam! LMAO! Hahahaha! I'll try and help you find the image of the face. The bigger you make the picture the easier it is to see. Look about a foot and a half above the tank you see the one big eye then the other eye is partially covered by the box so it's lower and to the left. look right at the front corner of the box. The mouth is right at the seat line. The nose is right between the two eyes and it has the horn's hanging out of it like a woolly mammoth. I guess I should make it easier by telling you it looks like the face is tilted one eye is higher than the other eye so imagine the face is tilted and you can see the four head like a halo of the four head above the two eyes. All right hell this probably doesn't make any sense I'll talk to you later buddy my lunch break is over.
Yup, I see it. The eyes are almost perfect, but you really have to use some imagination to see the nose & mouth. "FREE BOB" - lol - someone spelled his name backwards - HAHAHAHA!!! Have a Merry Christmas my friend!
Awesome video. just a note, title should be Rockhouse Trails, you'll have folks on here giving you a hard time just because it isn't Buffalo Mtn. Keep up the good work!
Hi, Michael ... Thanks so much for the kind words glad you enjoyed the video! Yeah half the time we didn't know which one of the trail systems we were in. It was our first time there. Hahaha Thanks for watching appreciate the comment!
Omg, a XX TRAIL, and you didn't even attempt it. All the trail videos you've done, the beginning of the trail wasn't much steeper than most driveways to local houses in the neighborhood. Lol
KC you have some nice videos, but not much of anything challenging trails. Only once, did I watch a black diamond and you turned around and quit. I've watched many of videos of the H&M system but few videos are of atv's. Strictly side by side's. And are quite frankly boring. My wife and I ride 4x4 utility atv's. Looking for 50" trails. Something challenging than trails wide enough for a jeep.!
Hi Dale I hear ya we like small tight trails as well but I’ll be honest with you most of Hatfield McCoy is wide enough for SXS’s. The trail systems are very fun though just cool to be riding in that area of the country. Have a good time on y’all’s trip.
Y'all don't know the history if this place if ya can't pronounce it , ( lady on com's) you should all get a lil history reading done so you will understand
