- This is one of my most requested videos and I was finally able to film it! In this video I show you exactly how I make the sticker sheets and die cut stickers for my shop (www.sara-faber.com/shop/). Hi guys! Please understand that this is MY way of making stickers, which I am selling in my online shop - which is a big part of my job. That's why I don't just cut them out with scissors and stick some glue on the back - they have to be in good quality. I understand that this method is too expensive for personal-use stickers, but I explained in the description that I make these for my shop. I also explained that you don't have to use iPad Pro + Procreate, you can use any drawing app and tablet. Please read the description before asking and assuming things.

I have a question: when you import the sticker sheet to Cricut Design Space, how you make the machine to kiss cut every single sticker and then the border of the sheet? Not sure how to do this step after importing the sheet of sticker as a PNG file. Thanks in advance.

@@ellisraymondstephens I've watched other Cricut videos, depending on the paper you are using, you might try one of the other blades for thicker paper, if your blade isn't cutting all the way through.

Why is everyone so upset about a tutorial for professional grade stickers? If you don’t have the money for the materials right now stop complaining and start saving up. Sara had to buy all of her materials too but she didn’t just get it all in one day, it takes a while to figure out what works. She’s doing us a favor figuring this all out AND making a video about it.

UGH! I wish we had a ‘stroke’ feature on procreate, where it could outline for us, and we could choose color, width, etc
yes that's what I was thinking!!! maybe in the meantime we can duplicate the layer and invert select it to make it white and then increase the size..
the best way ive found is to select your lineart or image, invert selection, and then use the feather tool to fill in a border behind your image. then, you can select that border and fill it in to give a clean outline.
ik this is like a year ago, but you can do it by duplicating the layer your art is on, blurring it to about 8-12% and then auto selecting outside the blur, inverting the selection and then fill it with white/whatever colour you want the boarder to be

Of course we aren’t going to have professional equipment if we are just doing it for a hobby! 😊 the video is for describing how to get a professional looking end product for selling. Just enjoy it for what it is, I’m sure there are cheaper methods for people not making a business out of it, or use the video for inspiration of the future if you do plan too.

This is SO useful. Most detailed start to finish sticker tutorial I've seen.
You can do a background on sticker sheets with cricut. Insert your png designs, and in design space you insert a basic shape and change the color of the shape with a single color or a pattern. Now you build you sheet . Sticker in Front, Shape in the back and use attach in design space. Now you can send it to your Cricut. And with the Cricut Maker you can print and cut on colored papers too

Miriam Flores die cut stickers are cut around the outline of the design with more pressure creating a single sticker while a kiss cut is cut with less pressure around the design ideal for sticker sheets

If anyone else was like me and super confused about the print and cut, dont forget to calibrate and sync your iPad to your Cricut machine! I was so confused until I figured it out. Print and Cut had me so confused because I originally thought that meant that the Cricut will print the material and cut right after on the same mat lol.
I just got my Cricut Maker in the mail today and this was sooooo helpful! I'm going to a convention in 2 weeks and I'm bringing tons of stickers with me! Thanks so much for the easy to follow tutorial!

I couldn't help but notice the Telugu script on the side of your Circut table... it's my native language ( spoken in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in India) . No idea how you came across that table but if you're curious about what it says, it says "Sri Vigneshwara Lighting and Tent House". It sounds like a store which provides service for setting up tents and lighting for parties/ceremonies... "Sri Vigneshwara" is just another name of the god Ganesha, in this case used as the name of the store. Totally took me by surprise when I saw it in the middle of the video!

how to make stickers at home if like me you are lazy and without these things:
1) Make an ugly drawing on a notebook in staves that is not suitable for the drawings
2) Cut the drawings
3) Put the glue behind the drawings
4) *ATTACK IT FROM ANY PART BEFORE THE GLUE IS DRY*

Although I have a Cricut, I have not tried making my own stickers.. yet!
For those of you who do not have a Cricut, you can buy labels, like circles,squares and regular mailing labels. Download the template online and put it into paint shop or word and make your own stickers that way. I have don’t this many times with journaling 🤗 great video and I definitely want to give this a go.

I just got my 6th generation iPad, downloaded procreate, got an Apple Pencil “dupe” and went to work on some portfolio stuff, I’m a graphic designer so spending money on things like this is worth it for me cuz I’ll be using them for years to come. I draw and design stickers but have always sent them to printers to get printed, now that I know how to do them at home I have a new goal!! Thank you for an awesome video!!

This is such a good idea! I use an iPad 6, procreate, and an Apple Pencil for my art. My mom also has a Cricut. All I need is the sticker paper and the inkjet printer! I only have the laser kind, haha. Great video! ❤️

Don't get me wrong. I grew up 80s, I still have my stickers untouched roughly ever since '95. I trade stickers and all that. But what I meant. Im too old to trade, I never used them. I collect. I don't have the heart to use them. Too precious.
Tried pulling one of the stickers on my sticker album, it sticked together with the lining of the album 😲 23 years old felt sticker and glow in the dark Winnie the Pooh from Singapore. 😢
