@@digitaljon1109That’s impossible. You must stay in a lane at all times and pass no one while going 65 mph. That’s the only way driving one of these could be acceptable, maintaining a slow speed and not moving out of your lane.
probably not to be honest these are built like shit my dad had one and the differential exploded at 110k miles and he has another brand new one and the infotainment hasnt worked since he bought it
@@fool4563 What the hell are YOU on about lol? Check some mechanical reviews of the Mirage & their engine. Some of these last even 300K miles and one guy even took it apart to see the damage OP is true. This crapbox might be a crapbox but is more reliable than (almost) any European or American car model in general. If wrong, bring up a car that's manufactured today that can compete in reliability.
I’ve driven the 5 speed manual mirage and it’s not bad, but the CVT ones are so slowwwww it’s almost comical and I laugh when I have to drive them for work lol
What a ridiculous comment. Ive had low powered cars and managed motorway journeys perfectly well without holding anyone up. People who convince themselves they need a lot of power to drive safely are simply bad drivers who use the BHP to hide their own failings behind the wheel. Experienced drivers can drive anything anywhere safely.
@mitch9521 I couldn't give a single crap what you, an American, thinks, I'm talking about in Europe, these cars have no issues on roads with higher speed limits, 120kph+. So get a grip of yourself you yank.
And I thought the Titanic movie was long
Oh wow 😂😂😂😂 good one 😆
I would still go for Honda brio instead of a Mirage after watching this video 😂
@@kuroro2674Agree but im a geek im going for the Agya 1.2
I presume you're American if you're not used to average cars?
Lol thanks for making my 2011 Hyundai sonata look like a hellcat
Not bad for basic commuter car. It really get up and go.
You know that’s kmh right?
@piersonsherley7888 I daily drive a Mirage, and it has plenty of power for me. I do mostly freeway driving.
That’s kmh dude. This is awful, and it can barely get up and is lucky to go 😂

@@giovanigeorgis3848 nah you just hate the car for no good reason to be here
The Mirage is a city car. It wasn't meant for drag racing. 😂
It may be a slow and "old" car for 2023 but it will outlast any quality-award winning GM product in the next 7 years

Try using DS mode... I have a 23 mirage and DS helps with acceleration but most people buy them for the milage I get 53:mpg
you mean S mode right? D - S

Finally a reason not to buy a prius
if only the 0-60 kph was mph
I remember a guy on his mirage tried to race my mk8 GTI😂 I went on comfort mode give him a headstart and gapped him while my RPM is under 3000

Mirage should be illegal for highway driving if it struggles that much to get to 100. Just should be used for city and residential driving.

Fact
Get a grip, idk if its an american thing or what but many Europeans survive just fine at 75hp in any day to day scenario.

CVT not doing it any favors
Slow for sure with only 48 km on the clock 😂
The fact that they discontinued the manual transmission and jacked up the price completely ruined this car.
