Hi there! You need to try and find the right balde your self because the cut depends on the thickness of your paper :) For example you need to set a deeper blade with a glossy paper than with a matte one.
I use 300 dpi setting. The board where I draw the stickers it's usually 20x20 cm so you have enough room to scale down or use the illustration for other purposes if you want

Da qualche mese mi frullava in testa l’idea di realizzare degli stickers è così mi sono decisa a comprare una portrait 2. Questo video mi era sfuggito prima, ma per puro caso due giorni fa su Amazon ho acquistato anche io la tua stessa carta adesiva per iniziare a provare ( solo che ho preso il vinile opaco). Volevo realizzare degli adesivi con taglio die cut, ma usando le tue impostazioni mi viene solo taglio kiss cut e non so perché 😭 il plotter non riesce ad intagliare completamente la carta :( e anche il taglio non mi é venuto proprio pulito come il tuo, ma con i bordini un po’ irregolari e rialzati, Da cosa potrebbe dipendere? Tu la lama la regoli sempre tramite il software o manualmente? Ho creato anche io un profilo personalizzato per la carta, perché praticamente tra i profili di default non ho trovato la sticker paper :(. ho sprecato già 2 fogli e non mi riesce :( paradossalmente in queste prime prove fatte non ho mai avuto problemi con i crocini di registro ( che invece sono molto comuni) , ma non mi taglia a fondo la cartaaaa.
Ciao! grazie mille per le tue parole :) Io la lama la regolo in automatico quando scelgo il tipo di carta e poi magari aggiusto la lama se non sono ancora contenta. Purtroppo all'inizio sprecherai moltissima carta, non é semplicissimo capire come farla funzionare! Le impostazioni che uso io per il taglio sono: lama 4, forza 33, velocitá 4 e passi 1, spero ti sia d'aiuto! Un abbraccio

Forse ho capito dove sbaglio...mi sono lanciata a capofitto ad usarla senza leggere le istruzioni e la guida, devo ammetterlo ;) Appena riavrò il mio po riproverò. Da quanti anni vivi a Berlino? Io ho vissuto lì nel 2011 per un anno facendo tantissimi mercatini :) quello stesso anno si é trasferito anche mio fratello che a differenza mia é rimasto e ora ha un bistro/enoteca a Neukolln. Berlino é un po’ la mia seconda casa ❤️
Hi! I have the Silhouette Portrait since one year, for me it wasn't always so smooth to make it work, I needed some time to understand how to use it correctly 😅 But this is the only one that I had so I can't say if the other ones (like Cricut for example) are better.

What should we need to see while purchasing a printer for this business? Any specific feature?
I would recommend you to look for an Inkjet printer, Canon makes some that are cheap but very good if you are just starting with your business.
At 0:42; what kind of software are you using to edit ? Are u doing in a laptop?
That one is Photoshop :) used on an iMac

Are they weather proof? Or can they be made so?
You can add a transparent vinyl paper on top before you cut to make them waterproof
