I forgot how cute and perfect your stickers are. Personally, I LOVE the Cinnamons ones, especially the one that say "More arms = Better hugs!" it's just soooo cute. Love it.
Nice thanks I’m new to the silhouette and I am having a hard time getting the mat to stay I haven’t got it to cut yet I’ve been thinking about returning it
Hey! This was really helpful to watch. I’m hoping to create my first batch of stickers this year and thought that I needed a cricut machine in order to make them, so glad I’ve seen this video to see the cheaper option 🙌🏻
Thank you for this video. Would you consider demonstrating this again with the newest software? Please and thank you. "Please make sure your transparency is on ..." How do we do that?
Sorry for such a late reply, you've probably figured this out by now but just in case: you need to have your image saved as a transparent PNG, so your image is on its own layer, and there is no background. When you import it into the Silhouette software, it'll retain its transparency.
THIS REALLY HELPED ME ALOT OMG T_T i am having so much problem with my silhouette studio T_T its not cutting precisely and am still working on with the autoblade sadly the program you're using is outdated so I am kinda going around the buttons too. i just got my silhouette portrait 3 yesterday and its been struggle I was hoping to maximize the whole a4 sized paper with the stickers I am printing. :'( and for label stickers as well
Thank you for this video. I've just started using my Portrait 3 and am highly confused lol I printed some stickers on white Glossy Sticker paper and for the life of me I cannot get my machine to recognize the registration marks. I will try to play with it in the Manual setting and hope that it works. I have successfully printed and cut stickers on regular Matte white sticker paper so I know my machine isn't defective jeje
thank you so much for such a well detailed tutorial. I now have a better understanding on not only the kiss cut, but also some of the tips for using my Portrait 2 :D do you realize that it has been VERY hard for me to find tutorials for the Portrait 2?, I can find for the Cricut and the Cameo, but oh my, well any ways, thank you for this
this was so helpful !! however , i don’t have silhouette studio designer edition , i just have the free version which doesn’t have some stuff such as the low pass filter and the kids cut setting and i’m a bit confused with it
This was super helpful! I sometimes find that my black ink smears on the photo paper, even when the ink is dry. Has this happened to you? Not sure if this is from my printer or my paper. Any clue what I can do to stop this?? Thanks so much!
Hey sorry for the very late reply!! This sounds like an issue with your paper. I had to try out several brands before I found one that worked well for me. I hope you find a solution!
Thanks! I need to pause in between to change the blade depth, so I can't do them both at once, but I think the newer models can change their own blade depth
Do you have to have designer edition of silhouette studio to do the kiss cut and cut-through together (setting up 2 types of cuts)? I’m Considering switching to silhouette from Cricut for my stickers and I know doing rhinestones requires one of the paid editions. Can you do 2 cut types with the free edition ?
hm, maybe the program updated, but i don't have the select box for the high and low pass filter. what should i do? they both say off though. but your directions say the low pass filter should be on.
I've used my inkjet on glossy photo paper before and noticed the ink scratches off. Is there a secret to making it stronger/sturdier/better stuck on this type of paper? I have beautiful floral artwork I would like to turn into stickers.....but I'm worried they will be damaged just by the nature of the ink.
Hi I have a question that cannot be solved maybe you can help me 😭 So I need to cut these blue circles with no offset border, just round blue circles. But it always cuts on some of them off, so on the sticker I can see a bit of the white background paper. I tried calibration but it was pretty much on the crosses and also the distance was exactly at 20cm. I noticed that this inaccurancy is mostly in the upper half and on each of them less or more severe some of them turn out perfectly. I cut in good lighting, chose the right paper size and place it perfectly on the mat. Of course there are ways to get these circles but I am just frustrated knowing my machine is cutting off ;( I use epson printer on highest quality also have the latest version of silhouette studio…. Thanks😞❤️
sorry for english, I tried cutting matt paper sticker but not cut, when I changed another gross paper sticker, It can cut, please advise me, thank you very much for your help.
Hi I really need some help, I have designed my own logo however I’m struggling to make a sticker sheet and cut them out using a silhouette portrait do you think you could help?
Thank you very much for this video, I didn't understand the part with the registration mark.. and when you print the image with the stickers, the red line aren't printed ? (Is it a special set up ?)
@@RBIllustration I don't find them in the studio and they might be the solution of my problem (I can't put the paper at the right spot even after several tries ..)
you did perfect jog🌷🌷👍👍 I just want to know that program name and the sticker name and thst machine cutting the sticker , could you reply please, I will wait your kind reply Thank you very much ...
This is helpful but I still suck at this!!! My portrait has been sitting around for many months and i tried it again and I just can't figure out the proper cut settings on my paper. I am disappointed :(
I don't seal them. My stickers are on the lower end of the price bracket because they're not advertised as waterproof/fade-proof. They're just cheap and cheerful glossy stickers. Sorry I couldn't help!
Sorry to hear that! I had a lot of feedback on previous tutorial videos that they were too long, so I tried to keep this one shorter. Hopefully you can follow the video or just pause as I go to keep up
Your presentation AND artwork were devine. Thank you. This helped understand the kiss cut a lot!
Thank you, I'm really glad to hear you found it helpful!

Hey, do you use HTV?
If your answer is yes, which size and brand do you use?
Thank you.

So the blade setting decides how far into the paper it cuts? Like if I only wanted to cut the first layer of my sticker paper
Great video.
So do you layout the stickers then print them on the paper from the program?
so helpfully even if i don't have one, I may just get one :D
Thank you for all the tips!

It would worth if I open my website to offer this services instead of facebook marketplace, eatsy, bonanza local etc?
Is this a silhouette portrait 1?
Hi I really need some help, I have designed my own logo however I’m struggling to make a sticker sheet and cut them out using a silhouette portrait do you think you could help?
Hi, I haven't made sticker sheets unfortunately, only individuals, so I can't help you there I'm afraid!
Thank you very much for this video, I didn't understand the part with the registration mark.. and when you print the image with the stickers, the red line aren't printed ? (Is it a special set up ?)
What problem are you having with the registration marks? And no, they don't print, they just tell the Silhouette where to cut!

What kind of paper to use. And printer
says in the video :)
no matter what I do I can't get it to register. I feel like giving up
Try putting a lamp closer to it or shining a torch on the sensor, sometimes if the room is too dark it can't register
@@RBIllustration I did just that, my lamp is extremely bright. Worried I may have a fault product
@@HeyItsXena in that case, maybe. Sorry, I don't have any other suggestions outside of that and manual registration!
This seems very helpfull but your talking unbelievable fast!!! I can’t follow, and you lost me after 1 minute.
