My advice as a woman who’s been married almost 20 years: Men like variety. And many of them also want what they perceive that other men want. The looks of these women can vary depending on the guys type, his racial and ethnic background, but the unfortunate reality is, a guy can have a “type” but still see another woman who usually isn’t his type but find her attractive and would try to go out of his way to get with her also. So stop trying to fit in any mold of what’s attractive. My advice to younger women, as cliche as it sounds, is to cultivate your own style and keep yourself healthy and in shape for YOU, not for a man or what men like. And I say all of this because what they like changes with the wind and trends will come and go. The best advice is to take good care of yourself physically, emotionally and mentally and contrary to what popular culture tells you, take care of your style as well. Try clothing and accessory trends but always have classic staple pieces that you can pair those trends with and make sure those staple pieces fit well and have good quality. Wear what fits and flatters your body type. I’m saying this because how you carry yourself out in the world WILL affect your confidence and other people see you and that includes men. But the goal is to always attract the right people, and if you develop yourself as someone who is of good quality it’s highly likely that you’ll also attract someone who is of high quality and in turn you’ll deter the men who are of low quality. Don’t adapt your style and how you carry yourself to the very same type of guy you don’t want.
