well the manufacturer tells you this is the way to do it. from what I gather, to turn it into a pulley you need to lift it a lot and keep it lifted, there is only so much for you can apply with just your hand like this. the dangerous situations I have seen were when you try to unlock the reverso by using a sling and your own body weight to lift it.
@@tyrionas i’ve really wondered about those methods. It seems like if you slip your foot and drop a few inches then you’ll be dropping your partner all the way to the ground.
