Saw her in Brisbane, hearing her hit those notes live was an experience. She just has such undeniable skill, precise breath control, advanced vocal techniques, talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, showstopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before...

I am 65 years old and my musical tastes include Van der Graaf Generator, Tori Amos, King Crimson, Radiohead and Led Zeppelin among many others, but this woman is so unreal. A true giant in the vocal world - her voice is hypnotic and soothing and the songs are incredibly varied and well structured. She is like a female Thom Yorke with her buttery smooth upper register and earthy lower tones.
Almost forgot to say - very tight band - great drummer.

Watching this made me realise something very obvious about performing. Performing is not only about singing/playing to people, it's about embodying your art on the stage. And Caroline does this so well!!! Love her!

@@Alicegab300 ok, but I disagree. pop music is disposable and repetitive, most of these pop divas don't even really sing, when they do they use playback and autotune, as well as an army of ghostwriters. Caroline is creative, intelligent, has a good voice and melody, knows how to be unique

I get so bummed when the likes of Caroline, Magdalena Bay, and Dagny don't have the level of exposure whilst being a millions times better than anyone in the top 20.
I suspect Caroline's lyrics are too abstract for the masses to truly embrace. But I really don't know why she's not as famous :/
She could be that but I think she’s comfortable where she’s at and doesn’t wish to give up her creative freedom in order to get that. And I admire that of her. People like her and Marina and the Diamonds know exactly what they are doing and know how much they can give without giving too much.
why ? does she actually need the fame ? do we need her to be as famous as chappell roan ? Caroline makes a living doing what she loves and we get to enjoy it live in small/medium-size venues. Her level of fame is just the right amount.

Absolutely amazing concert. I’ve seen her live twice and she’s always vibrant striking like this, amazing stage presence and a way of graciously controlling the whole room. It’s a shame they cut out Hit Me Where It Hurts, Crude Drawing of an Angel, Ocean of Tears, Fly to You, Pang, Parachute, Butterfly Net, Caroline Shut Up, So Hot You’re Hurting My Feelings, Hopedrunk Everasking, and Door though. Would love to see the entire show !!

This recording is absolutely incredible, the audio and camerawork are just perfect!! It's so cinematic but makes you feel like you're really watching her live at the same time! Does anyone know the musicians playing with her? They're amazing!! The guitar tone and arrangements especially, I love their playing on Bunny Is A Rider
