    Made this tonight, so tasty. I freeze my tofu first, whole, in the packet. Changes the texture to be more chewy and takes on more of the flavour. My son loved this too. Tomorrow night, fried rice as I cooked extra tonight. Thanks

      I made it finally. It was fantastic! I opted for the paprika instead of the chili on the tofu and it was delightful and mild. Thank you!

    I started using Tofu only since i turned Vegan (1 yr), i still dont understand different firmness and which you use in Tofu recipies.
    (Currently i have soft, lite firm, extra firm in my refrigerator)

    • @Foodotomic
      @Foodotomic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      For this recipe Vishal you can use lite firm or soft tofu, the different level of firmness affects the texture of the recipe, what you are trying to make. go with lite firm and you should be good :) think of it like Paneer.

    I’m writing the recipe as I watch, what was the water measurement again? I’m sorry I couldn’t hear it very well.

    • @Foodotomic
      @Foodotomic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can find the written recipe here - www.foodotomic.com/post/vegan-butter-chicken-using-tofu . You can add around 100-150 ml of water or as per the thickness you need in the gravy

      You can soak it in water for 3-4 hours, or in hot water for 15 mins
