Hi Minnie! If I want to make a lot of samosas to save for later, is it better to freeze before frying, or after? Fantastic recipe, I can't wait to try it!
It is always better to freeze before frying, but you can do it both ways, make sure to let them rest in room temperature after taking them out of the freezer and be careful while adding them to hot oil as there might be some water in it.
Awww, I am so sorry you didn't understand. Please find the link for the written recipe, which you can translate and read www.foodotomic.com/post/vegan-samosa-recipe
very good. I do not understand what are carom seed I do not find the world even in dictionary can you write the hindi name? Thanks Many many compliments
That's a very good question, make sure you keep the samosa in a flatter surface after frying so the steam can go away, if you keep them in a close container or even like together in a bowl they can get a little soggy.

@@Foodotomic Great tips! Thank you!
Will this work with almond flour instead? Thank you.
I have tried it with wheat flour, but never with almond flour.
Sounds delish. But I live in a rural area. Where can I get these spices. We only have simple and general?
Hello Donna, you don't have to use these specific spices, which one you don't have and may be I can suggest an alternative to you :)
Can you use just the cumin powder (not seeds) and coriander powder (i have no coriander available right now) for this recipe? Thanks!
you can use the cumin powder, but don't change coriander powder for fresh coriander, you can just omit it and that's alright.
Olá amei sua receita, mas não entendi nada.
Sou brasileira❤

Carom seeds are called Ajwain in Hindi. They add very good flavor to the samosas, but they are optional.
Thanks a lot now I understand I know ajwan
@@gabriellabrunetti8077 My pleasure :)
is there a substitute of mango powder? not familiar with that ingredient
You can use lime or lemon juice to replace mango powder :)
Is mango powder needed? Does it taste bad without it?
You can make it without mango powder as well. You can replace it with lime juice
@@Foodotomic okay. Thank you!
Using the dough recipe, can they be baked instead of fried?
Yes totally, I bake them all the time, and now a days I have started to air fry them
@@Foodotomic thanks for responding….Can’t wait to try them💜

whenever i make samosas, they go soggy when i let them cool. What am i doing wrong?

@@Foodotomic hi, thank you for the reply. i normally put them on a wire rack to cool.
