This plan seems to have space for everything. Living, dining and kitchen are all decent sizes, and there's a large laundry room and a pantry closet as well. The bedrooms have closets, not just wardrobes. Well done!

One of the best I've ever seen ! The only change I would make would be to replace the tubs with walk-in showers!

If the front porch is about 6 feet deep then heated and cooled space is around 936 sq ft. This is just about the best house under 1000 sq ft I have ever seen. Simple roof and foundation are cost effective. I really like this one. I wish you would include square footage of heated and cooled for every house.

Such a sweet, not-so-little cottage. So many cottages have features that make the space seem cramped. This cottage has a wonderful flow as you move about the space. Saving my pennies!
Very pleasant home that effectively integrates rustic elements with modern cons. The fireplace/shelving wall is a great feature. Adequate entry storage is the only drawback. Beautiful job.

I do not understand WHY majority of American house designs don’t have a proper entryway to get off dirty shoes and keep them with wet jackets away from living room.
You can get quick conversation with a stranger or somebody who just stopped by in this little space without observing the dynamic of whole house.
Older homes used to have such an area, but more modern designs have eliminated that space. And what you’re mentioning is especially helpful to keep exposure to outside elements confined.
Maybe it’s because the majority of Americans dont get wet or dirty anymore , I’m with you there.
If there was a market for it, modern designs would have it. Clearly, American home buyers no longer value such spaces.
We do have them we call them Mudrooms.

Where I live we don't have basements (water table too high) so we put them more in attic spaces with a heat exchange condenser outside and a return air vent somewhere in the house, usually in a central location. I wish we could have basements because we have to huddle up in the hallway bathroom when tornadoes are around, which is very often, especially this time of year. I would probably have two medium sized water heaters, one for kitchen and laundry and one for bathrooms.
I like basements for storage, etc., but many homes now have heat pumps and/or on-demand hot water, and these don't require much interior space.
@@Bobrogers99 True. I have considered on demand hot water but even those gas ones have to use electricity to power them and I just love my old reliable gas powered hot water heater.
Where would I put my table saw, drill press, miter saw and all the other many tools I need to cope with life?

The inside is absolutely beautiful . The out I'd change on thing the front porch , Facing the house on the right side I would extend the porch by making it a rap around porch and take it to the back corner of the house to also catch the side door that way I could come onto it from the side door .

Houses should have their kitchens in a separate room to prevent grease and smoke particles from getting on everything.
If it's vented properly then it isn't an issue.

I would have liked to see inside the pantry and the bedroom closets ... I would also replace the master bath tub with a walk-in shower. Also can you please give us more designs showing an attached garage. I do not know anyone who would purchase a house without a garage and an attached garage at that. Is there an actual floor plan available for this design?

In Europe, we always have an entry with closets for coats and shoes…It feels strange to step in directly in to the living room, like in public place…

Nice but major drawbacks: no door to backyard. Very awkward for ding in back garden when you only have a side door . Not one single closet for outerwear and footwear.

Well how much are you expecting people to give you for your you know what.
A pretty good design but spoiled by the tacky neo rustic interior paneling and features. The front porch chunky cowboy look is not needed.. And he oldy, oversized fireplace and wood storage (which should be outside) is space eating, visual blemish.
Nothing to see here. Walk into a kitchen, living and dining room all in one. Just - boom! That is absolutely horrible.
