The outside is fantastic. I like the kitchen open to the living room and not closed off.
This is a great plan! My parents have an existing structure behind their main house in South Carolina. I’ve advised them to update and compartmentalize that home and make it a “retirement house”. It’s smaller and could be used as a mother in law suite or eventually an “Air BnB”.
What a beautiful use of space in such a small home. I love this.
I so love this house….. I’d have it built if I could afford it! It’s one of the reasons I play the lottery every week!!!
I adore this! As a single senior it is pretty near perfect for me. I would just need to make cosmetic changes, I am not a fan of grey/beige in any form but adore this space very much.

Nice but you should use a pocket door on the master bathroom. Slide the door opening back toward the toilet and put the vanity where the door swing currently is. That would allow for a full sized tub and shower. Love the foyer.

Wow - super cute home! I'd probably get rid of that fireplace and put in patio doors there. I'd also get rid of one of those master bedroom windows and attach a garage along that side.
I'm not a fireplace fan, and an open fire like this one is purely decorative. To have it function as a heat source it should be replaced by an enclosed gas-fired one or by a wood-burning stove. I give the architect credit for not sticking the TV above it!
@@Bobrogers99 I see people do that and it blows my mind, but who am I? Wood burning fireplaces leak in a lot of cold air. I wouldn't want one.
Same thought about the master windows.

I would enclose the side porch and make it a cozy den/study. I would also make a side entry from the car port/garage, directly into the kitchen dining area, instead of the laundry.
I'm hard to please, but except for the fireplace (see my comment below) this plan checks almost all my boxes. My tiny concern about the layout is that the kitchen is a "dead end" space. When entertaining, the kitchen tends to be a gathering place and there's no circulation here, but there aren't any good alternatives.
You could knock out the pantry cabinets and make an opening into the kitchen in that area. Doing that would also make it easier for bringing in groceries from the car. Of course, none of these plans have a place for the furnace/water heater. I think these videos are more to give floor plan ideas and maybe sell some products through their affiliate links (IMO). I do enjoy watching the videos and dreaming 😊

What I am wondering ,every house I see has a Livingroom with many sofas and
in all houses the only given activity is watching TV because the bedrooms are only large enough for the beds😊
@@monikagoretzky5028 Most of the plans we see have wardrobes with drawers and shelves built-in for clothes, so they don't need other pieces of furniture. Some don't provide a quiet retreat to read or play computer games.
And I like a kitchen that is closed off. I hate people in the kitchen when I am in there. So, to each their own.

This design is beautiful, but in reality, it would probably be a fortune to build with the need for plumbing literally all over the house. The only place where plumbing is efficiently utilized is where the laundry is back to back with the kitchen.

Costs would vary depending on the price of materials, what materials you use, and cost of labor in your area
If you have to ask then you can't afford it. It's worth about 80k but it's probably being sold for 300k since there are so many people fleeing the big cities right now and they are overpaying for houses all over the place.

The door needs to go curtains on all windows the first bathroom to small however over its cool

The kitchen is closed off from the rest of the house and there is no easy access from the driveway into the kitchen to unload groceries...it's no efficient. The master bath is too small and the doors on those corner showers are garbage.
Where is the utility closet for the water heater and HVAC??

Why you pick your own colors, materials, etc., when you build your own. This is just a model, letting you visualize what you can have, etc.
