Yup. Fire of Unknown Origin is my favorite B.O.C. album. I added it as an Easter egg in the game. If you click on the poster multiple times, you'll get a nod to every song on that album. Also, to the right, there's Budgie's Never Turn Your Back on a Friend, which I consider an underrated masterpiece. Good to meet another cult member in the wild.

This game is exactly what I wanted but I need game devs to know that having your text MOVE AS IT IS BEING TYPED OUT is an extremely bad idea and makes it unnecessarily harder to read, especially when the text is going down onto a new line. There's a reason why old point and click adventure games would have the text appear in an area oriented to the left instead of centered on a point.

It's definitely an old-school adventure game with weird locations and items in the rooms. Cool soundtrack and spooky atmosphere. I liked the nightmare little twist part and the laughing deer head! I'm not sure if it's intentional but there's also definitely a rabbithole here: Clock Tower was inspired by a number of movies but predominantly is a mashup of Suspiria and Phenomena, having the more supernatural/occult atmosphere of the former and the character designs of the latter, extending to the main lead Jennifer, who fun fact the main lead in Phenomena was also named Jennifer. What's interesting is that the girl who played her the very next year was Sarah in Labyrinth. A story that also starts with a girl babysitting before the plot hits the fan and someone kidnaps the kid(s) she's babysitting and also wacky creepy dream shenanigans.
Yeah, I was slightly confused because the protagonist is literally the EXACT same design as Jennifer, just with a different personality AND it mentions the Boyd manor. I was thinking it might be a fan sequel until the protagonist was named as Sarah.
They really do suck. I'm having to dose my dog with antihistamines around the clock right now because she's been prone to hives again. Fortunately she's never progressed beyond hives, and they are taken care of with washes/windows and OTC meds, but I have an epipen for myself so I don't play around with these things. Lucky for her, someone's able to be with her 24/7. Thanks for Manly videos to keep company

This game is great. Sarah is the name of Jennifer Connelly's character in Labyrinth, and Jennifer Connelly is who the original 'Jennifer' in clocktower was based off of. I assume it is intentional and an homage.
Reminder to all that warmer weather = more pollen, so you can expect allergies to lighten up when the heat stops baking us all here in the US. Unfortunately, Florida won’t be cooling down anytime soon (source: it’s Florida) so Manly likely has longer to suffer.

i was already invested seeing the title screen but then i see it takes place in my state and I got so psyched. I don't see a lot of games that take place is Maine, so this really had me invested XD like some Stephen King style.

You may have some kind of hay-fever. I think certain plants release pollen in the afternoon? Grass? There's also a phenomenon where all the pollen released during the day descends in the evenings in a 'pollen shower', which also causes a spike in hay-fever symptoms.

Well, it's a remaster with added anime cutscenes...and not much else. I think it also includes the added bits from the PSX remaster.
