This was a fun demo. It's got some charm here, quite weird in a good way. I just really like how bizarre Tom herself is, she is clearly far from normal.
The note to Tom says "TOM, I WANTED TO TELL YOU SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT" and under the fold line appears to have an R or P, an E, a C, a D, and maybe some I's? I can't make out the bottom that well but there is definitely a D and the R/P. Important edit: before the R and E under the fold, you can make out what appears to be another E and the graphed lines before that seem to have an extra thickness, leading me to think that's an H. Also in front of what I thought was a D there seems to be a triangle, which is possibly and M, N, or A. So I think the full note says "TOM, I WANTED TO TELL YOU SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT. HERE I COME."
I was wondering the same, so i downloaded the game and tried to get the perfect report. You get told that "you didn't pick up the fine binoculars" (or something similar); you need to witness the bloody murder no matter what, and you need to creep on the nurse in the tutorial (i am not sure, so don't quote me, tho). Hope that helps :3

@@Rtt2muchh She gave them quicker death. And she saved those poor chickens, and made cool party for squirrels, but I don't know how she did something good in the first house
Finally, Manly doinh a gameplay of Tom The Postgirl! Ive been waiting since ive seen gameplays from some other youtubers & i have a thing for peeping and this kind of doodly scribbly art style, and Tom's face is just adorable.
This one was lovely and protagonist is adorable. It will be really nice to combine the first "upside down" part and the second, which is "according to the rules". For example, allowing a squirrel to have fun with a disco ball and preventing a bloodbath in the house of Siamese twins. Wait, both these choices are against the bureaucratic rules.
This is definitely very interesting. I think one way things can go down is if they stick to the main (D&D) alignments: - Lawful: If you deliver all the packages no matter what; - Chaotic: If you open all the packages no matter what; - Good: If you somehow found a combination that leads to "better outcomes" for most; - Evil: If you follow a combination the leads to "worse outcomes" for most; - Neutral: Probably goes to this if you don't qualify for any other endings. _That said,_ I can't tell what is "good" or "evil" in this game. I feel that, maybe that's the point of this game-- that nothing you do really have a clear moral judgment. You can slice it either way-- is burning down the barn a good or evil deed? Is delivering animal food to neglected children in a neglectful orphanage good or evil? (You could argue that not delivering food could get the orphanage to close down, and, well, I guess it's if freedom+starving is better than being treated like animals with literal animal food-- though the kids don't seem to mind.) Do you kill the conjoined dog yourself, or let the twins do it? So, perhaps it won't have a "good" or "evil" ending, because it's all subjective (different people will probably have different opinions regarding to these outcomes), and a supporting hint for this is the fact that, the letter berates you either way for what happened at the barn. There's no possibility to "do better" (at least for certain things-- you can argue something is "less destructive" though), so maybe, it's the same for the endings. (Unless we're going for "intentionally destructive" vs. "less destructive" angle-- and now I think about it, maybe THAT could be the distinction-- the game was keen to note the lives you step on after all.) I think another possible thing is the confrontation with your/Tom's own stalker. Perhaps your action will decide how your stalker ultimately reacts, and it honestly could go either way too... like lawful approach can get either "Oh wow, you're such a good girl, I love you even more now!" Or "Eww, you're so boring. I shouldn't have bothered stalking you." (Or maybe the stalker will like you no matter what you do. It fits the ambiguous moral theme too.) Either way, it's super interesting, and interesting is good.
"I think we're evil". We aren't just evil; we're reveling in it and to think this is just a taste of what's to come... Also, is Tom on the spectrum? She's giving me that vibe. Also, also, *Puts stamp on chicken* EXPRESS DELIEVERY! *YEET!*
Difficult to call something evil when we don’t know if Tom even understands what “evil” is. Most of her antics are just “playful,” while unintentionally hurting others. What’s for certain though, she _is_ weird, both enough and not enough for this definitely weird place.
@@palecaptainwolfkayls8499 Let's see: Lack of understanding "evil" actions, views most of her actions as playful, and is just generally weird. Wonder what sort of mental oddities Tom has?
The best path from my view is the one that involves you peeping in every package. Not that it makes you a hero but since there is no saving a town like this the best thing for everyone is to sabatoge the system.
0:29 so, im guessing from the opening that "tom" is the name of the protagonist's father (possibly mother), which she inherited. and the last name and the word "FINAL" are smudged. it looks to me like the last name might be "stone" ? but im not totally sure !

Frogs are supposed to explode if you make them breathe cigarette smoke, because they can't blow the smoke out of their body and it's stuck inside
As a mailman, you don't even have to try in order to know a lot about people. Uncomfortable amounts of information about people. I have about 600 people on my route and a ton of businesses, so i know where a lot of them work, where they live, what they drive, usually when they are home, when people go on vacation, where they move to. I mean i guess everyone can get most of the information nowadays from data leaks, but it's weird to know so much about people you potentially have never spoken to.
That seems like a whole lot of people. Is the size of your route typical?
Would it be insensitive if I said you'd be a great *ANIME?*
@@drewgoin8849 my route is smallish because i deliver inside a lot of businesses, the courthouse, the library, the jail etc. Some that do apartments and purely residential go up to around 1200 people.
@@zacmayes2802 there are a lot of dog friends, so it would be a fun story.
@@drewgoin8849 some go up to around 1200, idk the first reply isn't showing. Mine is a mix of businesses and residents so it's not as much as ones with lots of apartments
The chicken thing there's the note that states you shouldn't knock, so I suppose you were meant to put the package in the mailbox. (which you didn't check in neither play)
The mailbox that is taped shut? That mailbox?
15:38 was not expecting the kid to actually have a voice + Manly's "hi"
2:30 the shock in Manly's voice when the frog exploded

Pretty easy to read when you pause.
@itsgonnabeanaurfromme nah really?
@@JunkyardGodYep.
I like the simplicity of this game. Cute artstyle and minimalistic output of the discomfort provided by the strange scenarios in the setting.
I definitely get some Fran Bow vibes from this
In general, Fran Bow seemed to make more sense..
To me it felt more similar to little misfortune, with all the weird ass uncomfortable stuff
@@pemanilnoob Definitely more like Little Misfortune. But I think it does have some Fran Bow in there, wouldn't be surprised
@@bozhidarabuyuklieva i mean there's siamic twin sisters

Fran bow ; such a good sad game :(
The sheer amount of animal abuse in this game reminds me of Newgrounds point and click games. Actually, the whole demo gives me serious Gretel and Hansel vibes, which is kind of nice. Looking forward to the full release.
There is not a single intelligent thought behind those eyes.
No thoughts, head empty, just delivering and peeping.

This was a fun demo. It's got some charm here, quite weird in a good way. I just really like how bizarre Tom herself is, she is clearly far from normal.
Theres something really charming about the art style of this game tbh, I really like it. It fits the sort of "twisted children's book" vibes.
I really hope they dont milk that cow...
Oh god, considering the chicken thing maybe that IS meant to be the implication
That farmer is gonna *bleep* a horse's *bleep* off like he's giving it a *bleep* job.
For this, I regret nothing...
Well, at least the horse is going to have a good time...
@@dezdannaselaphiel8634 Indeed. It'll still be weird, though.
@@dezdannaselaphiel8634 well then let's at least hope they enjoy the milk?
Wonder if you can speedrun the thing, doing nothing extra, and escape a bad employee appraisal... I bet something is still held against you!
@@NasQ6637 Good experimentation! Thanks for assuaging my curiosity. :D
as it always is when you get fired from a job
_MBH sees children living like pets:_ "I didn't necessarily see anything too weird..."
I can already see that MBH's tolerance for weird is set a bit too high. I think returning the chickens by "airmail" is not the best for the chickens tho at least they aren't wandering around. I liked the art and the weird characters. Some of the stalking and opening was a good thing. I hope you play the full game when it is out!
So we just gonna scoot by the implication of “milking” the “cow”
I have a feeling that Tom is Antihero of this game. She's done some good things, in quite brutal ways

Finally, Manly doinh a gameplay of Tom The Postgirl! Ive been waiting since ive seen gameplays from some other youtubers & i have a thing for peeping and this kind of doodly scribbly art style, and Tom's face is just adorable.
I’ve seen her once and I would die for her
Me: “Man I’m kinda bored…”
Manly: “Fresh batch of the weirdest games you’ve ever seen, get em hot!”
Me: 😊
This one was lovely and protagonist is adorable.
It will be really nice to combine the first "upside down" part and the second, which is "according to the rules". For example, allowing a squirrel to have fun with a disco ball and preventing a bloodbath in the house of Siamese twins.
Wait, both these choices are against the bureaucratic rules.
This escalated quickly
Chapter one: education
Chapter two: arson
This is definitely very interesting. I think one way things can go down is if they stick to the main (D&D) alignments:
- Lawful: If you deliver all the packages no matter what;
- Chaotic: If you open all the packages no matter what;
- Good: If you somehow found a combination that leads to "better outcomes" for most;
- Evil: If you follow a combination the leads to "worse outcomes" for most;
- Neutral: Probably goes to this if you don't qualify for any other endings.
"less destructive" angle-- and now I think about it, maybe THAT could be the distinction-- the game was keen to note the lives you step on after all.)
I think another possible thing is the confrontation with your/Tom's own stalker. It fits the ambiguous moral theme too.)
Either way, it's super interesting, and interesting is good.
Have you punted a chicken today?
The chicken still freaked out because you knocked.
"I think we're evil".
We aren't just evil; we're reveling in it and to think this is just a taste of what's to come...
Also, is Tom on the spectrum? She's giving me that vibe.
Also, also, *Puts stamp on chicken* EXPRESS DELIEVERY! *YEET!*

@@Damian-ew1vl they can't all be winners. Not gonna stop me from trying anyways.
Also, your PFP brings back good memories
Difficult to call something evil when we don’t know if Tom even understands what “evil” is. Most of her antics are just “playful,” while unintentionally hurting others.
What’s for certain though, she _is_ weird, both enough and not enough for this definitely weird place.
@@palecaptainwolfkayls8499 Let's see: Lack of understanding "evil" actions, views most of her actions as playful, and is just generally weird.

The best path from my view is the one that involves you peeping in every package.
Not that it makes you a hero but since there is no saving a town like this the best thing for everyone is to sabatoge the system.
