On this episode of Chopping samples I’m taking a song from the Dangerous Minds soundtrack and turning it upside down into something completely different.
Something completely and utterly messed up and I lost the file that had my vocal recording for this video🙃 Luckily screen record also records anything coming into the iPad so my microphone was recorded except I had no way of mixing the volume of the mic separately from the volume of Koala. Was experimenting and tried the free rough rider compressor and it saved the video! Not perfect so I added subtitled but definitely helped raise my vocals, so pardon the slightly wonky audio this time around 🥴

Thank you! This one was very light on the effects sometimes I add a little bit of everything but didn’t need it this go around. Still need to do a deep dive in how I actually mix with the EQ and what not
