A quick Beginner's Guide that tells you all you need to know and doesn't waste your time! Juri is a Fast character with Great Pressure & High Damage Combos! This tutorial will cover her Normals, Special Moves, V-System, and Critical Art. Plus, some Bread and Butter combos to get you started!

Directions:
f - forward
b - back
u - up

qcf - quater-circle forward

The basics put nice and simple! Though I thought it'd be important to mention that her V reversal has a shortened animation on block or if it whiffs to make the it safe(r).
You forgot to mention that you can cancel her vskill mid animation by pressing it again to hop across the screen .

Just a little something to add if I may. Apart from being able to dash cancel out of her V-Skill, you can also double tap V-Skill and she'll dash but NOT cross up, or stop sooner making it good for baits and throw setups.

Maybe because it's a Japanese game? Same reason why everyone kills in MK.

You know, it's funny -- I've been typing up notes on your guide, and there's definitely some great insights here, but to condense it further, after reading through my notes, I'm noticing almost every move has you mentioning it has either "good dmg" or "great dmg," lol.

I really like Juri and I'm new to SFV and all fighting games in general, I keep looking this up but o results, what does b and f mean, ex/ _____ - b+HK?
in my opinion I think capcom kinda made juri alot weaker in SFV compared to SSFIV and I have a feeling they took out a few of her combos.
that's what I tought, I recently bought sfv. I'm not good at all at fighters but I played sffiv a lot with friends and mainly played juri, I could land most of her combos in the previous opus but in sfv it feels weird ? but again I just bought the game so I'm kinda lost with the ex moves ? critical arts and v trigger
I think it has something to do in the story because her left eye's feng shui engine is replaced with a weaker machine

Would you have a video about I guess how the button input system works on SFV. Only reason I ask is because I'm a Tekken player and the input system is alil different.

Is Juri a good beginner character? I'm not that much of a beginner like I know the footsies, mixups, crossups, some frame data, I don't know how to combo into a charged attack though, is the good for those things, and is her grey attack system easy or is it hard to utilize?

Standing HP does not whiff on most crouching opponents. In fact, it might even work on ALL crouching opponents. I know for sure it works vs crouching Karin and Ibuki. It actually has a very deceptive animation.
It depends on how close you are. If you're right in their face, then it won't whiff. However, it's also unsafe up-close.

didn't mention the most important part of b+HK. both hits are special cancellable. important point to note because this means you don't have to link into LK after which opens up more consistent damage options when you don't have her rekkas. also never mentioned it was plus enough to combo LK after but as previously stated, just canceling the b+HK leads to more consistent damage anyways so that's not really important.
I can't think of a good reason to cancel b+HK. You can only special cancel the first hit, and most of Juri's special attacks are unsafe. Whereas the b+HK is very safe. So, you're better off going for a link instead. The best use for it is that it can V-Trigger cancel on the second hit. Which is very useful as a hit-confirm.
TrueUnderDawgGaming all of her rekka charges are -2 and knock down. they're minus but still safe. also, you can cancel both hits of b+HK both in and out of V-Trigger which means you can just use the button itself as a hit confirm. better damage than LK/LP into LK pinwheel. i heard from soneone else that only the first hit was cancellable but I've been playing her all week and it's not even a tight cancel window. are we playing different versions or something?
just went in to make sure i wasn't remembering wrong. I'm getting the cancel every time and it's really lenient. maybe the mod version didn't cancel (if you even played her early)?
wiididdy Her qcf+K is safe, but only the first time you use it. After that, only qcf+LK is safe. I'm fairly certain that only the first hit is cancelable (for special moves). Since it's basically the same as Ryu's b+HK. I'll have to check again later, but I'm fairly certain of this. I can't think of any 2-hitting attack that can special cancel its second hit.
i would agree usually but at the time of writing that other comment i went to check, just to make sure. 100%, both hits are cancellable. also if you have used all of her rekka charges then you can still throw the fireball and it leaves you + quite a lot on hit and you can use the hitstun to frame trap into an overhead or a low or even just a meaty. at worst the fireball is -2 as well, but it will usually be more like 0 or even +1. either way, just letting you know cause the second hit being cancellable makes her combos super easy to confirm and super consistent with all her knockdowns. it also lets you do HK rekka into MK rekka into a meaty fireball if you have all of them stocked. gives you a really nice setup off of a really safe, really easy hit confirm.

Ryu, Nash, & Birdie are fairly easy to learn. With that said, every character in this game is deep and takes time to master. Good luck!

is it bad that I'm choosing Juri as my first character in this game? also to add this is my first street fighter game as well. I'm having some success with her. (got the game 4 days ago) and am being trained the basics and advanced techs of SF at a weekly I go to.
She's a really good character IMO and her combos aren't too hard either :)

Is there a video somewhere that lists FG terminology? I have no idea what plus on block means.
Plus on block means the opponent has "Frame advantage". Which means that if they attack, it will come out faster than your attack since you are still blocking. Basically, the move they did puts you in "Block stun" and your attack after will be slower as a result.

could you explain what terms like "minus 4 on block" mean?
those are frames. The fastest attacks are 3 frames in this game. Therefor, anything -3 or lower is safe on block. If it's -4 or higher, then you are at risk of being punished. I hope this helped :)
