    I am interested in seeing the before and after pictures of patients at the 10 year, 15, and 20 years marks after surgery? With such an investment, it's important to see how long it lasts. Thank you.

      That's what I was thinking 🤔 let's say you get your surgery at the age of 50 and you got amazing results you look like 35 again. What are you gonna look like when your 65? 65 or 50 or even worse or even better?

    • @bullkitty
      @bullkitty 2 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      To add to this, say a person goes for all items: the vertical lift, fat transfer, eye and lip procedures….I understand there will be aging and gravity after 15-2.0 years. Is there a more minor procedure that you do as a ‘touch up’ in later years? Or regular tweaks along the way? At a much lower cost I assume?
      Also: very interested to see close up photos of all the scar areas at 1 year and 2 years out. Thank you.

      Yes specially when his facelift cost $62,000+ 😂😂😂. Like there are really good plastic surgeons that will give you very good results for $15-20k. He actually thinks his particular technique is worth 3 times that of a good surgeon is hilarious. Lots of surgeons focus only on facelifts and have same results. The obscene amount of money charged is just unethical.

    I just had a face lift performed in Pattaya/Thailand by a surgeron who has certainly not been on the board of american surgeons and I have to say I am absolutley chuffed by the results! I dont need to mentioned that it was about half the price..... The whole procedure was smooth and pleasant and I could not wish for a better outcome.
    Just to say, dont be fooled, there are other surgeons than Americans who do a fantasitc job!

    If there is one thing I have learned in my one year of researching plastic surgeons is how a certified surgeon wants their patient to be healthy and happy with their results! But what I've learned about you Dr. Karam is that you've developed a surgery "The Vertical Restore" that heals quicker but it covers all of the areas on the face that needs restored! It's like remodeling your kitchen like you said " why would you change out everything but the cabinets... ?! " This is so true! But health is your no.1 thing and that makes me feel good about you!

    There’s a surgeon here in the U.K. that does a vertical facelift but many of his patients results only last 4 months!! So what’s going on there? Why are so many ‘relapses’ taking place? I’d like to know more about actual facelift techniques and which ones produce the longest lasting results and why.
    More and more people are coming forward with laxity from 6 months and beyond with SMAS lifts and 12 months onwards with deep planes. Most people just don’t ever see this because the ‘after’ photos we all see are taken a few months after surgery when everyone looks their best.
    So please explain why facelifts don’t last and what will make them last the 7-10’years we get told that that do.

      He might not be doing a deep plane vertical lift if he is doing the smas lift they don’t last. Deep plane is where they lift the whole skin off the face and redo it and put it back. A doctor told me the others are a waste of money.

      @@kathleen8104 after so much binge watching these facial rejuvs, I thought the SMAS was the best along with the the deep plane. He said to me that's the old style. I'm glad you talked about gut feeling as the most important thing.
    There are surgeons on youtube that I've watched who come across as not just egotistic or unprofessional, but also downright creepy. I don't even need to check their website or call the clinic. I'm not letting those kind of people come near me in a drugged/unconscious state.
    Trust your gut feeling after you've done the research for the paper qualifications AND after checking their reviews online.

    • @Hector-qu9vo
      @Hector-qu9vo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yeah! I think more of us are catching on to the fact that we never get shown ‘after’ photos beyond the average 4 month mark after surgery when everyone looks their best. I’m seeing more and more women coming forward with their dissatisfaction after 6 months because their faces have dropped again. This is actually more common than we are lead to believe.
      So many women have to resort to fillers to help maintain the facelift results. Some women look virtually the same as they did before surgery at month 8 and beyond.
      It’s a very skewed perspective we are being shown. I don’t think it represents the truth.
      Some of us want a facelift because we don’t want to inject ourselves with fillers. When you spend thousands for a procedure, you expect it to last for many years and eliminate the need for other treatment like fillers. Unless of course you’re like using them also.

    I just found your channel by accident and I wrote on another one of your videos. But when I saw the title of this one I had to say the wisest choice is to go to you. When Fen Phen came out I went to my doctor even though exercise would have done the trick. I trusted him and expected him to give me a physical. And talk to me about it before he prescribed it because I kind of knew It sounded too good to be true and safe. But the truth is when I made an appointment and I ask for it and he just gave it to me withou so much as even a consultation. He actually told me if I didn't feel like eating I didn't have to. The impression I get from you is you would thoroughly talk to your patient about why they want the procedure, what their expectations were along with all important information such as risks and the expectations the expectations versus reality. If I ever get anything done I'm knocking on your door. I'm just waiting to hit the lottery lol. Once again I think you are on TH-cam to help people. I think that's wonderful thank you again I think I said thank you in the last comment I made 5 times.

Do you take their word for it, what else can I ask for as proof that they do indeed perform these facelifts more often than 1ce or 2ce a month.

    so true. When searching websites in MN there are qualified plastic and facial plastic surgeons but some say they have been doing it 30 years and dont need to do anything different.... RUN! They do not want you to show them what you've 'seen' on social media. Any respectable MD will let you tell them what you want and what you do not want and then tell you what they are able to do. Do not be shamed into setteling for a 30 year old technique. any real face lift must lift face and NOT JUST SKIN. Also you can check local directories in your area for complaints filed against surgeons, this includes MD's like orthopaedists,general surgeons who 'practice' plastic surgery and other less scrupulous Doctors. This is a specialty and their practice should reflect that. Some plastic surgeons specialize in breasts others in mommy make overs. Make sure YOUR surgeon specializes in the proceedure YOU want. Good luck y'all and God bless~

The question is.. do I go back to that surgeon to try and find a solution to the issues or do I find a new surgeon since I didn’t love the outcome the first time? To address the points made in your video he is board certified, he specializes in face lifts and has a busy practice. I didn’t get a bad feeling from him or the office but in retrospect, I never felt a super warm ‘I got you girl’ kind of vibe either. The people who are able to afford plastic surgery are truly blessed. Every day I wonder , is there a talented plastic surgeon out there who ever does procedures pro-bono. Is that something you would ever consider, to bless someone with the wish of there life time. I would never be able to afford plastic surgery no matter how hard I tried, yet it is a procedure I wish I truly could be blessed to afford. So, I ask is that anything you would consider doing for free to make someone’s wish of their life come true?

    He's a self publicist. Invites you to ask questions then ignores you. To busy pedaling his products. Advises against procedures he doesn't do. Look at a lot of his before and afters. Women who are already beautiful. Any surgeon who has to market themselves so heavily is not worth going to.
