Lots of wtf moments for me, but still a great video. I have at least a thousand hours on this game and endless memories. Here's my personal ranking of the attractions after beating all of them. 12. Fruit Cart 11. Octopus Dance 10. Balloon Flight 9. F-Zero 8. Legend of Zelda 7. Animal Crossing 6. Ninja Castle 5. Luigi's Mansion 4. Donkey Kong 3. Mario Chase 2. Metroid Blast 1. Pikmin Lmk what you think, love this game to bits!
This is one of the very few good Wii U games that hasn't been ported to Switch or hasn't had a sequel on the Switch that's better than the 1st (Splatoon 2 and SSBU). Yoshi's Wooly World, Nintendo Land, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Game And Wario, the Zelda remasters, and this. I played this so much with my parents as a child and as a young teen. I hope Nintendo makes a "Nintendo World" with a bunch of the games that can be ported like the Metroid and Zelda minigames ported, and makes new ones to replace the others.
I've been trying to theorise how to bring Nintendo Land to the Switch for a while now, the best idea I could come up with is having 2 switches with 1 of them dedicated to the solo player, but that's needlessly expensive. I'd still love to see DK Crash Course on Switch tho
Octopus dance is not that bad, the extra stage is actually fun, and funny at the same time because you see the lil'octopus following a line with the 3 miis on the tv, not counting your's and then Monita with other 3, oh, and btw, you can shrink the mini octopus by touching him in the gamepad, which makes him shoot less ink, but grows immediately after, so you must react quickly Why do I remember this? I found my Wii U and the game and I said to myself: "Why not?" Also, you can know if he will throw ink if he's floating or not.
12: Yoshi’s fruit cart (boring af especially when with friends / attraction tour) 11: Ninja castle (just never really vibed with it tbh... nothing wrong but very forgettable) 10: Baloon trip Breeze (just kinda annoying) 9: Octopus Dance ( I just have fond memories of being the only good one at this game with friends and choosing it in attraction tour to annoy them) 8: Captain Falcons Twister Race (never played it outside of attraction tour, just remember being extremely competitive whenever this was chosen) 7: Donkey Kong’s Crash Course (SO FUN! Nothing wrong with it but my sister always spat on the game pad when blowing on the mic. Those jumpy bits at the end will literally kill me istg) 6: Metroid Blast (the Nintendo switch I owned didn’t have the extra remote thing needed to play this so I never really got the full experience of this game. I do remember loving it at other people’s house though, never really knew what I was doing) 5: Animal Crossing: Sweet Day (I didn’t like being the hunter, loved being the animals though) 4: Pikmin (OMG I LOVED THIS GAME :D I think I played it too much though and it became a little irritating) 3: Mario Chase (the top four games will always be so close to my heart, Mario Chase is very easy to cheese though, especially if every is like 10 and nobody looks at the meters at the bottom) 2: Legend Of Zelda: Battle Quest (my friends and I would always grind this game so much to beat the final level and I remember being to happy when we finally beat it, such fond memories) 1: Luigi’s Ghost Mansion (SO MUCH FUCKING FUNNN I love this game to much it’s just amazing)
My list: 12-Ballon Trip Breeze Too boring, repetitive and these stupid pigeons faster than light 11-Animal Crossing Sweet Day Not very interested in this game, I prefer the Mario game 10-Yoshi's fruit cart Good but these moving fruits are almost impossible to reach (and its boring) 9- Captain Falcon's Twister Race Pretty fun, i love the controls 8-Mario Chase Simple concept, but very fun to play with friends 7-Octopus Dance I really like the music and the gameplay, would be higher if you could play it without TV 6-The Legend Of Zelda Battle Quest Very cool controls, very good music, the only problem is that there are TOO MANY MONSTERS WHY 5-Takamarus Ninja Castle The controls are so unique and the environments are awesome, there are also several kinds of ninjas like the OP black ninja 4-Pikmin Adventure Multiplayer is so fun, the musics and environnements are incredible 3-Luigi's Ghost Mansion I got jumpscared multiples times by the ghost, but its so funny, scary and awesome (and there are 5 maps instead of 3) 2-Metroid Blast Its just a minigame but its x10 better than Metroid Prime Federation Force, there are so mant things to do: 20 missions, 10 advanced missions, really good multiplayer (sad that i dont have Wii motion plus) 1-Donkey Kong's Crash Course Nothing can outclass this game, Its a masterpiece. So addictive, so cool and i love to speedrun all the 4 levels. Best mini game without a doubt. If you are still here, thanks for reading
Hey if there’s a second player on the Wii U the second player can make the squid that shoots Inc smaller by shooting it. And collect hearts that you lose.
Whooooooaaaaa Metroid #1?? Baaad take... The way I was like, oh man Luigi's Mansion and Donkey Kong are 2 and 3, so number one must be amazing! And then you pull out Metroid, which I completely forgot was in this. That's how unremarkable it was.
I can't do it. I absolutely adored this game and I highly doubt it'll ever come to switch so... Time to buy a Wii U in 2022...tough. outside of that, my list would be 12. Octopus Dance 11. Balloon 10. Yoshi 9. FZero 8. Ninja 7. Donkey Kong 6. Animal Crossing 5. Zelda 4. Mario Chaser 3. Luigi Mansion 2. Pikmin 1. Metroid. My absolute favorite, played the crap out of it with my mate back when I first had the game. He loved gunship, I loved foot. This is pretty much the game we played 24/7. Only taking breaks to play a bit of Mario Chaser. My list is going with the assumption you're playing with friends. Since friends are where Nintendo Land really shines.
I'm a bit late but i'll say my ranking anyways 12. Balloon Trip Breeze 11. Takamaru's Ninja Castle 10. The Legend of Zelda: Battle Quest 9. Animal Crossing: Sweet Day 8. Yoshi's Fruit Cart 7. Pikmin Adventure 6. Captain Falcon's Twister Race 5. Luigi's Ghost Mansion 4. Metroid Blast 3. Octopus Dance 2. Donkey Kong's Crash Course 1. Mario Chase I will say that the top 6 was a bit hard to make because i really like all of these
3:24 Finally, someone who pronounces Yoshi correctly! Also, it's great to see more content on this now decade-old and unfairly obscure game since it's such a fun experience to play - I've never played a local multiplayer game quite like this before it or after. My favourite thing about it is how each minigame is so fleshed-out in terms of unlockables that most have their own post-game to them, as well as the fact that each game has 5 achievements in the form of stamps (although these range from ridiculously easy to *"don't hit **_ANYTHING_** for the **_ENTIRETY_** of F-Zero game* glhf lololol").
I was going to defend this opinion to the death 😤 but then you made a really good point that I can remember the Octopus game vividly whilst I don't remember Balloon Fight much at all The bottom 3 at this point are kinda scuffed, in fact fuck this video I'm super wrong (also I love the profile picture, I need to talk about Rhythm Heaven at some point)
It legitimately might be my next series I talk about after the 2D Metroids, adore the DS entry and haven't played enough of the Wii version and Megamix but that'd give me an excuse to!
Honestly I would put the Zelda one way higher because as a child playing this with everyone was very actually fun because it was a game that took more communication bit when understood was very fun and easy. And between the bow and the sword depends on the person because we would be four and I played the bow because everyone else weren't very good at it
Ah, I've not seen many fans of that one! I admittedly didn't get that great an impression because of my connection issues, but after playing it again a little bit I will say it is better than I think I gave it credit!
Some of the minigames where pretty bad but the Zelda one, I was a 10/10 loved it, my favorite was the green guy with the sword, and one time was the blue guy with bow and arrow, I don't think there's any more tho.
Dude I want this to be on switch so bad. This game is so underrated

@@LukerYT I was thinking with the FZero game you can use your smartphone as the gamepad and either your switch or the TV if it's docked as the TV.
Yoshi's Crafted World/Yoshi and Poochy's Woolly World:
Octopus dance is not that bad, the extra stage is actually fun, and funny at the same time because you see the lil'octopus following a line with the 3 miis on the tv, not counting your's and then Monita with other 3, oh, and btw, you can shrink the mini octopus by touching him in the gamepad, which makes him shoot less ink, but grows immediately after, so you must react quickly
Why do I remember this?
I found my Wii U and the game and I said to myself: "Why not?" Also, you can know if he will throw ink if he's floating or not.
I remember playing Mario chase with my little sister 👌
Battle Quest #1 Luigi's Ghost Manision #2 and Pikmin Adventure #3 These are my opinions when playing with friends
Donkey Kong’s crash course is unironically harder than any dark souls boss ever
frfr
12: Yoshi’s fruit cart (boring af especially when with friends / attraction tour)
11: Ninja castle (just never really vibed with it tbh... nothing wrong but very forgettable)
10: Baloon trip Breeze (just kinda annoying)
9: Octopus Dance ( I just have fond memories of being the only good one at this game with friends and choosing it in attraction tour to annoy them)
8: Captain Falcons Twister Race (never played it outside of attraction tour, just remember being extremely competitive whenever this was chosen)
7: Donkey Kong’s Crash Course (SO FUN! Nothing wrong with it but my sister always spat on the game pad when blowing on the mic. Those jumpy bits at the end will literally kill me istg)
6: Metroid Blast (the Nintendo switch I owned didn’t have the extra remote thing needed to play this so I never really got the full experience of this game. I do remember loving it at other people’s house though, never really knew what I was doing)
5: Animal Crossing: Sweet Day (I didn’t like being the hunter, loved being the animals though)
4: Pikmin (OMG I LOVED THIS GAME :D I think I played it too much though and it became a little irritating)
3: Mario Chase (the top four games will always be so close to my heart, Mario Chase is very easy to cheese though, especially if every is like 10 and nobody looks at the meters at the bottom)
2: Legend Of Zelda: Battle Quest (my friends and I would always grind this game so much to beat the final level and I remember being to happy when we finally beat it, such fond memories)
1: Luigi’s Ghost Mansion (SO MUCH FUCKING FUNNN I love this game to much it’s just amazing)
I love the ninja game and the balloon one! I kinda wish that they would become more fleshed out as actual games. Though that’s just my opinion
My list:
12-Ballon Trip Breeze
Too boring, repetitive and these stupid pigeons faster than light
11-Animal Crossing Sweet Day
Not very interested in this game, I prefer the Mario game
10-Yoshi's fruit cart
Good but these moving fruits are almost impossible to reach (and its boring)
9- Captain Falcon's Twister Race
Pretty fun, i love the controls
8-Mario Chase
Simple concept, but very fun to play with friends
7-Octopus Dance
I really like the music and the gameplay, would be higher if you could play it without TV
6-The Legend Of Zelda Battle Quest
Very cool controls, very good music, the only problem is that there are TOO MANY MONSTERS WHY
5-Takamarus Ninja Castle
The controls are so unique and the environments are awesome, there are also several kinds of ninjas like the OP black ninja
4-Pikmin Adventure
Multiplayer is so fun, the musics and environnements are incredible
3-Luigi's Ghost Mansion
I got jumpscared multiples times by the ghost, but its so funny, scary and awesome (and there are 5 maps instead of 3)
2-Metroid Blast
Its just a minigame but its x10 better than Metroid Prime Federation Force, there are so mant things to do: 20 missions, 10 advanced missions, really good multiplayer (sad that i dont have Wii motion plus)
1-Donkey Kong's Crash Course
Nothing can outclass this game, Its a masterpiece. So addictive, so cool and i love to speedrun all the 4 levels. Best mini game without a doubt.
If you are still here, thanks for reading
if i had a dollar everytime he cursed during the donkey kong game. id be scrooge mcduck
I thought octopus dance was a fun little memory music game but everyone has their own opinions
dk crash course for me would be like 5 i never played too much of the metroid one until i came back to the game years later
I disagree with this video strongly but that is just my and your opinion.
I can't do it. I absolutely adored this game and I highly doubt it'll ever come to switch so...
Time to buy a Wii U in 2022...tough. outside of that, my list would be
12. Octopus Dance
11. Balloon
10. Yoshi
9. FZero
8. Ninja
7. Donkey Kong
6. Animal Crossing
5. Zelda
4. Mario Chaser
3. Luigi Mansion
2. Pikmin
I'm a bit late but i'll say my ranking anyways
12. Balloon Trip Breeze
11. Takamaru's Ninja Castle
10. The Legend of Zelda: Battle Quest
9. Animal Crossing: Sweet Day
8. Yoshi's Fruit Cart
7. Pikmin Adventure
6. Captain Falcon's Twister Race
5. Luigi's Ghost Mansion
4. Metroid Blast
3. Octopus Dance
2. Donkey Kong's Crash Course
1. Mario Chase
I will say that the top 6 was a bit hard to make because i really like all of these
Good list, i agree with the top 5 (exept Octopus dance)
THERE WAS A SECOND DONKEY KONG LEVEL??
Octopus dance is literally my favorite game 😭
octopus dance is literally my favorite 😭😭
same
3:24 Finally, someone who pronounces Yoshi correctly!
I just sold my Wii U damn I really had some good memories with it
Ah sorry to hear it's gone, but hope you enjoy the memories!
This game was my childhood
To be honest, octopus dance is my favorite along with pikmin adventure
Love to hear it! It's great to see people appreciate the different games that others (aka me) don't so much
Okie :)
Same
Octopus Dance at dead last? Mmmmmm...
I wouldve put Ballook Trip Breeze there instead. I literally forget that one exists.
I was going to defend this opinion to the death 😤 but then you made a really good point that I can remember the Octopus game vividly whilst I don't remember Balloon Fight much at all
The bottom 3 at this point are kinda scuffed, in fact fuck this video I'm super wrong (also I love the profile picture, I need to talk about Rhythm Heaven at some point)
@@LukerYT
YOOO RHYTHM HEAVEN ENJOYER!!!!!!!! welcome to the club there's only 7 of us
It legitimately might be my next series I talk about after the 2D Metroids, adore the DS entry and haven't played enough of the Wii version and Megamix but that'd give me an excuse to!
@@LukerYTOctopus: Why All The Hate On Me?
You deser e so much more views, legit got me emused for the entire video, you earned a sub.
thank you! I appreciate the kind words
Honestly I would put the Zelda one way higher because as a child playing this with everyone was very actually fun because it was a game that took more communication bit when understood was very fun and easy. And between the bow and the sword depends on the person because we would be four and I played the bow because everyone else weren't very good at it
Could you imagine if this had online multi-player back then
13:25 The exact same thing with me!
Glad to hear! When the Wii U was done right, it was a really good all-encompassing console
The random TH-camr: yea I’m a pretty cool guy (dies a bunch of times)
Me: you’re not
that was, and I can't stress this enough, the joke
If you play Mario Chase with more players, the arena is much bigger.
Wow I'm surprised I didn't notice that! I've played with 5 people before and it didn't feel that much bigger, so shows I need to pay more attention
this game and video is underrated
He put the best one in 7 💀
DK Crash Course is just not me, Area 9 and 10 are nearly impossible and I just need tips
I don’t this Nintendo understands, this NEEDS to be remastered on the switch
Me: sees that fzero is on 11st*
Also me: WHYYYYYYYY????
Ah, I've not seen many fans of that one! I admittedly didn't get that great an impression because of my connection issues, but after playing it again a little bit I will say it is better than I think I gave it credit!
Really good list but as someone who has never played pikmin I thought it was the best one and the most fun.
Mine:
THE WORST!:
12: Metroid Blast
11: Zelda Battle Quest
Meh:
10: Animal Crossing Sweet Day
Ok:
9: Yoshi Fruit Cart
8: Balloon Trip Breeze
Good:
7: Mario Chase
6: Pikmin Adventure
5: Captain Falcon Race
THE BEST!:
4: Luigi Ghost Mansion
3: DK Crash Course
2: Ninja Castle
1: Octopus Dance
How is Metroid blast the worst and Octopus dance the best
Great video!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it
Personally i really like octopus dance
Some of the minigames where pretty bad but the Zelda one, I was a 10/10 loved it, my favorite was the green guy with the sword, and one time was the blue guy with bow and arrow, I don't think there's any more tho.
The "green guy" is actually named Link in the franchise, but I don't know what the blue guys name is
I don’t think the archer is blue
Pikmin Adventure is my favorite game on this game
It's really good! Much better with muliplayer I imagine
Me too for me it’s NO.1
Wasn't the bad controls in balloon breeze intentional?
Octopus Dance was cool to me, lol
