    I bought the hightop extended one over 3 years ago. Haven't used it but will next month. Glad to see it works well for feeding wood into etc.

    I have a solo Titan, $100 stove. I bought the one on the right. Works just as well and quality is the same if not better... blew my mind. I now don't even touch the solo anymore. It just sits in storage. if anyone wants to pick one up, these two stoves are fantastic.

      Silvia0073 Absolutely. I've never used a 100 dollar stove but I can't imagine it being better than this one. There's nothing to them, basically all the same but slightly different design but they all work the same.

    I wanted a Solo, but couldn't afford one. So, last year I bought the larger of the Canway that you showed here as it was similar to the Solo I was looking at. I love it! It was just what I wanted/needed. Great review!

    Thank you for the video! Was a bit wobbly and there was a lot of room for more information and I was kind of curious to see if you could stack the two stoves into a single stove maybe you would make the burn chamber bigger I don’t know thank you for the video

    Try putting wood pellets in them instead of leaves and twigs. Take some cotton balls saturate them with our Vascelineto start the fire and you’ll be good to go and pleased at the length of time you have using wood pellets

  • @terrytaylor9206

    Love the stackable part of these for ease, but still like the square ones a little more, like the KampMATE you reviewed with the fire-feeding opening in the bottom section. It folds flat for convenient carry in a pack and feeds really well in that side opening. Yeah, you have to figure it out a bit on assembly, but once you do, it's nice, just $10 more. So there's that. But stackable is nice. Good review. Thank you, sir.

    • @GearReviewDepot
      @GearReviewDepot  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I also prefer the Kampmate or square stoves over the round ones but this is certainly good quality and a great backup. I do appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment. Be well and stay safe my friend.

      @lsteiner 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Geoff, you might want to thoroughly read ALL the Amazon reviews on the Biolite Stove. Most folks seem to think that they are next to useless with regard to charging phones, even with a large flame and the fan on low, or off completely. Dammit, I was keen too, until I read all that!

    The higher pot placement is probably better for cooking. Lower down, seems like it cooks too fast on other videos that I have seen. Scorched soup, and Pittsburgh rare meats. Maybe this will be better with the pan higher off of the fire?

      @@GearReviewDepot thanks for the reply. I bought the one that has the feed port you can feed while the pot is on it and a pot that another TH-camr said it would fit inside. It's too tall for the pot. But he has the stove that doesn't have that. So I was wondering if it was shorter?

      Not exactly sure about the design of the one I didn't use, the one I did use is very easy to use and strangely enough is cheaper. I got the pricing wrong in the video by the way. The better one in my opinion is the cheaper on.
