I ran into this last week at a tesla supercharger. All spaces full and a tesla was in one of the charging stalls not charging and they even had a cable they brought with them plugged in to lock their port so someone couldn't actually plug them into the charger and rack up idle fee's.
Easier to pour old urine down the front of the windshield where the fresh air intake ducting are located. This is an old trick to get back at @ssholes. The hot sun helps to really cook up the 'aroma' that will be pulled into the cabin. And it's very hard to wash out all of it.
Big stretch of imagination here but CCS vendors need sensors to monitor both space occupancy and charging activity. Of course this will never happen, so I agree with Bryan Mu - deflate their tires and smear the turd in the air filter but leave a pleasant note along the lines of, “You shit on someone’s much needed charging experience, so enjoy the aroma of your accomplishment. Xoxo, fellow EV driver.”
I really wish they'd put the EV chargers way out in the hinterland of the parking lot. I know it's easier to put the EV chargers right up front because it's easier to pull power lines but it just invites abuse. For "education" purposes we should probably start carrying gorilla glue strength stickers that you can slap on their windshield with a pithy "don't be a dick" message.
you can helpfully drape the charge handle over their sideview mirror. If the charger scrapes up their paint, that's just the price of being a good Samaritan.
We have the technology to ticket people by camera or radar. Why not have hidden cameras at the chargers that ticket people automatically for parking without charging?
Easy solution for me, backup to the car, take out my trusty rope, tie it well, and tow it away. No hard feelings at all for such ppl no matter what they drive 🤷🏻
EV companies need to come up with $1000 fine for anyone not charging and parking in the spot of charging station. It should be automatically deducted from their account. They just need to come up with cameras that can do citations.
I'll give this guy the benefit of the doubt--I bet some mean ICE owner simply unplugged their car. I can see some people do that just to spite an EV owner. 😢
You're funny! People are taking up handicapped spots or dedicated slots and you're compaining about the EV charging spot. Society has far, FAR to go to reach that level of common sense. There should be a EV spot parking police, and give huge fines to the ones taking these spots, because they're are polluting. Yes. If you take an EV charging spot without using it, you are adding to pollution. Simple as that.

See.....premeditated = steaming turd on the windshield. It's the only way to a civilized society.
I really detest this behavior.
let the air out of all of their tires, then smear the turd by air filter

Cover their entire car with Post-it notes 😂
I'm thinking you should dump sand in the charging port. You're my hero btw!! Keep the awesome commentary coming. Justice for EV's!

Only if the sticker is applied with a sledge hammer.
Yes, that does suck.

If you wanted to be a real jerk, could put a bike cable lock on the rim. But that would be nasty.

American is crazy. Paying for gym but don’t want to walk an inch more.

lol. towing the offending car is the only thing that could happen
You know why. Because its hard to find a parking. So some people dont want to waste time to find a spot
Zip tie charging cable to the wheel
Pull the cable and put it back in the charger.
crazy glue door handles to car.
Call and have it towed.
Slide their tires.

No the car in the spot isn’t a ev
Just tow it away.
Mix up some JB weld and fill their charge port holes. Good luck charging then, MFr...
That’s what they make tow trucks for
