      My m3p arrives in July. 40 years of Ice. This will be my first ev. Been a Tesla stock holder for years, but wasn't convinced until 2023 when I went to Starbase for a few launches & met a bunch of the engineers who showed me the engineering and got to ride in a bunch of their cars.
      So I ordered the model 3 performance highland as soon as it was available.
      Will give my experience with it.

    Just found this channel awesome insight on the model y. I just went from a S to. Y last month and I love it got the 7 seater and free supercharing for life of the car along with the tax credit can't beat that offer

    • @lankyscatchannel9032
      @lankyscatchannel9032  ปีที่แล้ว

      How did you get free supercharging for life on a Y? That's outstanding!!!

    • @michaeltavares2690
      @michaeltavares2690 ปีที่แล้ว

      @lankyscatchannel9032 I had a 2015 model s w/free supercharing and I got a email saying if I bought a new S X or Y I could transfer it over but not the 3 and it had to be the end of the year

    • @lankyscatchannel9032
      @lankyscatchannel9032  ปีที่แล้ว

      Seems like a good deal if you're looking for a change.
      Did you have to trade in the S, or did you keep it? Why did you not purchase the S again?

    • @michaeltavares2690
      @michaeltavares2690 ปีที่แล้ว

      @lankyscatchannel9032 I didn't have to trade in the S just transfer the supercharger over so the S would have no more free supercharing plus I wanted more of a family car instead.

    great update. glad you are still liking the Tesla. Still rocking the ID4. If the prices had been where they are now when I got my ID4 I would've went with the tesla. The supercharger network can't be beat. Another advantage is all the software updates Tesla has.

      Now with the adapter people can’t keep bringing up the supercharger network anymore. And if you watch out of spec review they have trouble too. They had 11 years to get were they are.

    what insurance are you using and for how much. People are saying they're expensive to insure, I might change my mind from buying the new model 3 highland.... Btw did u know u can install a fridge in the sub-ruck space. Its pretty cool. TH-cam acopower fridge

    I hate one pedal driving. Prob keeping my ID4 now that it will get a nacs adapter. Plus it's roomier on inside , has a smoother ride. Having said all that I still have Tesla envy sometimes.

    Wipers: I just found the other day that you could press the stalk to manually wipe them but THEN you can adjust the speed using the left scroll wheel (left/right) rather than pressing the screen! Mind blown ;)

    • @Freecpapadvice
      @Freecpapadvice ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Whoa whoa whoa!!!! Do you have to press the stalk every time you want to change the speed, or does it stay live? I would imagine it times out just because it would be the volume and track control for music. Thanks for sharing Leon!

    Good review, punk. I'd agree that one pedal driving is the shizz. I'd would add that the Y can tow like a champ. It pulls my 1600# teardrop like butta!

    • @Freecpapadvice
      @Freecpapadvice ปีที่แล้ว +1

      How much range do you lose compared to not towing? I want to get a camper, but would not be teardrop so would likely have a lot more drag.
