That's weird. Arm your system, disable all gray zone settings ,and check if it detects motion at the highest motion sensitivity. If it doesn't, then you might have a faulty unit.
Mine was working before I left to Portugal for a few days camera is placed indoors and it would always record a clip when it got dark out because the motion of infrared night vision would switch on and I haven’t been getting anything for like a week now
My camera misses a lot of motions. Not all, just some. Picks up the mailman coming up to our door 3 out of 6 days. I cannot figure out why. Same thing with the camera in the back of the house. Batteries are fresh.
My app barley has any of those features. I can’t change the sensitivity or enable motion detection, it’s armed but only works when someone pushes the button
@ChestneyChiller the features vary with the model of the camera. Which one do you have? Also, Blink has recently updated their app. If available, you will be able to find your motion settings by tapping on the three dot menu on your camera thumbnail > Device settings > Motion settings
@@blinqblinqtech I have the doorbell one, not the one in this video. I just updated the app but it’s still the same. For me there is no three dot option on the camera thumbnail or device settings 😓
NONE of these worked this camera system is SH*TTY! I have generation 4 model and I have 1 blink mini... The blink mini works fine, but the other camera doesn't detect anything at all, change batteries yadda yadda yadda... just garbage!
My camera detects motion just fine. But will randomly stop working for hours at a time until I access the app and do a live view . Then it finally works again it is a bit annoying
I've set all the right things and it still is not recording motion. None of the three cameras record people. Just records in time lapse fashion, the trees and clouds
@truthlva3560 that's weird. Won't the camera detect people even when the sensitivity is at max? As for the time lapse thing, it seems like your camera is capturing footage even when no motion is detected. So maybe you have the photo capture feature turned on. You can toggle it off from the Video and Photo settings.
@@blinqblinqtech no it's still not detecting people at all. It just had an update also and it's still not picking up people or vehicles even on the highest setting... And on the clips it's still doing a weird time lapse recording...

Same here mine was working then it set itself off about 20 times within a minute then the motion detection hasn’t worked since.
