@@kenstreetcinema > Hi, But will that accept my older G7 lenses ? G9 Mk2 ???? But ive heard those heat up fast and can they do DCI 4K 60fps ? S5 is full frame so all my lenses will go waste.
@@simplysurfing exactly. So if you want to stick with M43 cameras like the G7, GH5, GH6, G9ii, you can use your m43 lenses on the new G9ii as well. The G9ii has better image stabilization better autofocus and it can record 4K at 120p too. So research a little bit on youtube for the G9ii, so you can keep all your lenses. Hey 😃! They say the Panasonic GH6 has the same (contrast based autofocus) witch is slightly better on the GH6 than the GH5, but not a huge difference there! This year Panasonic lanced a new Panasonic S5 M2 with a new version of autofocus called (phase detect autofocus) and it makes a huge difference! It's on the top with Sony's and Canon's hybrid cameras! "BUT" I wouldn't get that camera for a few reasons: 1. It has a bad rolling shutter! That means when you pan a little faster from left to right, for instance when you film a car crossing your way or you film people running trying to keep them in your frame like people playing football, you will get ugly and unnatural distortion in your videos! The Panasonic GH5 with his smaller sensor doesn't have that issue, or very little. 2. The Panasonic S5 M2 is a full frame camera. That means no one of my m43 Lenses would fit to the full frame mount, and I would have to buy all my favorite lenses again for full frame. 3. Just wait.. Panasonic will might come with a new GH7 or Lumix G9 M2 soon, with a phase detect autofocus and some other futures. So for me it's worth waiting. 😉
I love my Gh5 but, the auto focus in video is so bad that I am thinking of switching to Sony a7iii. So many good memories lost because of bad auto focus

@@kenstreetcinema well ... I' ll wait. I was thinking about getting The S5...but so many ideas and opinions...uff...I refused!
Lumix gh5 please🙏
@@Gugaguga-p2x Yes with the GH5 it is what it is with the autofocus.
Gift giving please
@ who are you Gugaguga? 😅 Do you have a phone? Start making videos with phone first
I love my Gh5 but, the auto focus in video is so bad that I am thinking of switching to Sony a7iii.
So many good memories lost because of bad auto focus
yeah man I completely understand. I tried everything as much as I can. I'm about to upgrade to the GH7 so I can keep all my lenses and keep my GH5 as a B cam
