Ive been fighting the tree guy at the red land for like 4 hours not stopping even tho im EXTREMELY UNDERLEVELED (dying in one hit) and im bad at the game, im not "built different" im in need of an actual fucking life......i still haven't killed it
The best stage for tree sentinel is when you can tank one of his shield attacks without getting oneshot. Maybe 4-6 heal pots are nice for that boss. What killed me the most, when i beat him on a fresh character was getting oneshot not running out of heal.

@@kollu8896 Well it really depends on the player, going in at lvl 12 is pretty hard but if you travel and have an adventure on the side before killing Margit, it's really a piece of cake when you are like level 30.

It's interesting how people measure the difficulty of 'Souls'-like bosses by how many times they die to them, rather than how long it takes to kill them. I like how that represents the actual experience of how hard it can be to kill these entities.
@@smurf_official1724 I'm hoping by the time I can afford Elden Ring, the frame rate will be more stable but more importantly I want to get the other DS games I just love the depth in both gameplay and lore. Bloodborne slapped my ass around a fair bit, but the world was what kept me at the table

Its a very cinematic experience with the floor giving out from under you. I got lucky and landed right on the main branch or whatever that lead right up to the core.

margot is a perfect first real boss he was programed so wellas he counters all the intial stratieges of a new player like myself tried and so forcing you to evolve and makes the win so satifying.

The key is to not get angry, when you die don't get angry at the boss, just immediately think about what you did wrong before you can do anything else, this both helps with improvement and not getting too upset and quitting

You can actually get to the area that's East of Limgrave called Caelid if you go through a passage of bushes/cliffs to the right of the entrance if the castle. If you run right up there towards the top, you'll find these militia men. There's a grace near them and you can backstab/sneak and they give you over 1,000 runes each. It's the best early farming spot. Also, don't forget you can level up your spirits summons and upgrade your weapon (upgrade Jellyfish for Margit, it's tanky af and draws aggo a lot).
watching the video for the first time just to get into the game. If I start playing it'll be my first Souls game and I have a feeling I'm setting the bar way too high for my first ever try at these games.
The thing that annoyed me so much about Margit is how quickly he can just stack combos and end the fight. You’d be doing so well and suddenly he just unleashes a relentless flurry and the fight is over 😢

After watching this whole series and beating the game using summons for a lot of fights I really respect the determination Charlie has in this game lol. Started a new wretch build now I have some experience, completely new to souls games. Don't know if I can solo every boss but without a summons and Im not sure id even want to but I respect the hell of out Charlie for doing so. Especially Malenia haha I still haven't managed to beat her!
that tornado attacked that godrick does is really easy. You can tell he's gonna do it because he will lift his axe over his opposite shoulder with one arm the same way every time.
I can't believe Charlie actually beat the Tree Sentinel at Soul Level 1, without any help and at sub 20 tries. It took me 15 tries or so after I got to level 25-30 to beat him.
Here’s the funny thing, I spent 12 hours exploring the beginning area to find all the secrets before I beat the first boss, where as other people are beating the first boss in like 5 hours. I beat a fucking dragon, and got to the roundtable hole before I beat the first boss, and I don’t know why I did that, but I’m actually really glad i did.
I always see your channel and it’s usually you chatting with chat about something going on in the world or watching a video and reacting so it was a shock to see how good of a gamer you are (not sure if you gaming is normal but seeing you on elden ring came to a shock to me ) you beat Margit in 30 min while I took like 2-4 hours and had to come back with the game on easy mode (went exploring found better gear/ levels)
One thing I absolutely hate about these games is when you try to dodge, get hit to the ground, and then five seconds later your character gets up and rolls because for some reason the game still makes him roll even if it was interrupted. Like obviously I don't want to roll now because it's been like five seconds since I pressed the button.
don't spam and if you get hit by the starter of a combo just lay down to dodge second hit and roll the third hit that used to be the bane of my existence too in short, git gud

yeah the difficulty is weird to measure. Sometimes im trash against easy bosses but a god with the hard ones. Luckly I was never killed by Pinwheel.

You get so many damage buffs attacked onto him, his little tickle feather of a spell manages to get over 1000 damage lol
You can give buffs to your summons? Tf?
A small detail I noticed with these Elden Ring bosses is that when they reach their second phase, or update their moveset, they take less damage

If you run right up there towards the top, you'll find these militia men. There's a grace near them and you can backstab/sneak and they give you over 1,000 runes each.
It's the best early farming spot. Also, don't forget you can level up your spirits summons and upgrade your weapon (upgrade Jellyfish for Margit, it's tanky af and draws aggo a lot).

A friend figured out how to level up to 50 with Mage in an hour. There's a soul farm in the top right of the map, just past the dragons.
That must ruin the playthrough unless you want to be over leveled

The thing that annoyed me so much about Margit is how quickly he can just stack combos and end the fight. You’d be doing so well and suddenly he just unleashes a relentless flurry and the fight is over 😢

Funny nobody told Charlie to stop and visit Rogier in Stormveil to grab a few new spells even though Charlie clearly stated he hated his starting spell. 😂

After watching this whole series and beating the game using summons for a lot of fights I really respect the determination Charlie has in this game lol. Started a new wretch build now I have some experience, completely new to souls games. Don't know if I can solo every boss but without a summons and Im not sure id even want to but I respect the hell of out Charlie for doing so. Especially Malenia haha I still haven't managed to beat her!

that tornado attacked that godrick does is really easy. You can tell he's gonna do it because he will lift his axe over his opposite shoulder with one arm the same way every time.

I can't believe Charlie actually beat the Tree Sentinel at Soul Level 1, without any help and at sub 20 tries.
It took me 15 tries or so after I got to level 25-30 to beat him.
It's not SL1, that's just for the wretch. Prisoner starts at SL9.

Here’s the funny thing, I spent 12 hours exploring the beginning area to find all the secrets before I beat the first boss, where as other people are beating the first boss in like 5 hours. I beat a fucking dragon, and got to the roundtable hole before I beat the first boss, and I don’t know why I did that, but I’m actually really glad i did.
I always see your channel and it’s usually you chatting with chat about something going on in the world or watching a video and reacting so it was a shock to see how good of a gamer you are (not sure if you gaming is normal but seeing you on elden ring came to a shock to me ) you beat Margit in 30 min while I took like 2-4 hours and had to come back with the game on easy mode (went exploring found better gear/ levels)

One thing I absolutely hate about these games is when you try to dodge, get hit to the ground, and then five seconds later your character gets up and rolls because for some reason the game still makes him roll even if it was interrupted. Like obviously I don't want to roll now because it's been like five seconds since I pressed the button.
Gotta learn to not spam the dodge button
don't spam and if you get hit by the starter of a combo just lay down to dodge second hit and roll the third hit

this game is so incredible, that first playthrough was so amazing man.
When you get locked in that room with the first banished knight and he does a Muttley laugh, it seriously kills me in every playthrough. It’s supposed to be this serious moment, but that laugh just makes it so funny.
The knight isn't the one that laughs. It's Gostoc. That bastard locks you in and steals some of your ruins every time you die.
