The people calling for stuff like "kill Kale for his bell bearing" are very short sighted about the fact that Kale gives you the finger snap gesture, which even besides Blaidd's questline leading into his part of Ranni's questline is necessary for all gestures. This is exactly what Aggy talking is about with being careful about just saying "let's just kill stuff", because it can skip parts of quests necessary for True 100%.
I feel like the most efficient way to go about this is to dump 99 levels into Arcane and use an Arcane infused bleed weapon, since not only does he need the item discovery for farming items, it also doubles as a good build
I have 210 discovery and for the first 3 hours of this video I've been farming the Battlehammer to no success, You're way underestimating this challenge.
I'm commenting early in the video, so this may all be covered in the discussion with chat, but-- There are actually six endings - Ranni, Frenzied Flame (and you have to make sure to burn yourself instead of Melina, otherwise you miss that one cutscene), the one with the Perfect Order rune from Goldmask, the one with the Fell Curse rune from Dung Eater, the one with the Death Prince rune from Fia... and the one where you don't have any of that stuff, the "Age of Fracture" It's probably in whatever guide you're going to use for quests, but there are a few NPC questlines that have significant variations. Here's what I can think of: (Which is hopefully helpful to anyone else who wants to go in on all this nonsense) - Side with Sellen or Jerren at the end of her quest, plus, if you count it as a separate ending, not picking up Stars of Ruin so she stays human. - Side with Millicent or her sisters at the end of her quest. - After you talk to Roderika the first time, you need to go into Stormveil and get the Chrysalids' Memento before anything else triggers Roderika to move to the Roundtable, because it disappears when she does. - After you meet Iji but before the Radahn Festival, you can go talk to Jerren about Iji, then go talk to Iji about Jerren. - There's a bunch of optional dialogue as part of the intended way to get to Nokron, that's all to skip. Go hear Blaidd howl, get the finger snap from Kale, go talk to Blaidd, go meet Ranni, talk to Blaidd in Siofra, go back and talk to Seluvis, get his letter to Sellen, then go talk to Sellen about it, then go tell Blaidd about Radahn. It's so easy to skip some of these steps. - In the middle of that whole process you're supposed to do the intended way to get to Ranni, where you meet Rogier, see the big face in the basement, talk to him at the Roundtable, go back and see the bloodstain where he gets cursed, go ask him about that, go talk to Fia about it, go get the Black Knifeprint, give it to Rogier, talk to Ranni and get refused, talk to Rogier again, go talk to Ranni about the Black Knives. That all has to happen before some other events cause Ranni to be willing to talk to you. - Give Seluvis' amber potion to Ranni, which locks out the rest of Ranni's quest. - Obviously you have to do all of Seluvis' errands before giving Ranni the Fingerslayer, since she kills him after that. - Speaking of that, I just learned the other day that there's unique dialogue from Pidia if you buy everything in his shop while he's still alive. I dunno if there's more dialogue like that, but it would make sense to buy out every merchant's stock when you meet them. - Give Seluvis' first potion to Nepheli, to Gideon, or feed it to Dung Eater. - Obviously that last one is an alternative to Dung Eater's questline. - Similarly to the Sellen thing, there's a sort of alternative ending to Blackguard's quest, where Dung Eater doesn't torture and kill him if you don't buy anything from him until after fighting Dung Eater in the moat. This doesn't interfere with getting the Fell Curse rune, because there's one extra Seedbed Curse in the game - it just skips the part of the quest where you can get one off of Blackguard's body. - There are three endings to Rya's questline: Kill her, give her the memory loss potion from Tanith, or leave her to figure things out herself. - You can also give the memory loss potion to Corhyn in the mountaintops, which changes where he ends up after Goldmask moves on, and changes his final dialogue. - Of course, there's the thing I mentioned above about burning yourself at the forge, which isn't necessary for the Frenzied Flame ending, so that's easily missable if you don't meet the Three Fingers until after the forge. - On top of that, there's the alt ending to the Frenzied Flame quest, where you cure yourself with the needle before moving on to the ending. - There's that moment where you can meet Alexander in Liurnia, after beating Radahn. You need some item to get him out of that hole, and if you go to Gelmir before that interaction, he moves on to the lava lake. Also, if you want to make this even more annoying, you could make sure to meet all NPC invaders. The only one I can think of that's really easy to miss is the Millicent sister in the Swamp of Aeonia. Even MORE annoying would be all NPC summons - I didn't know until recently that you can summon Sellen for the Red Wolf fight in the academy, if you leave the Red Wolf until AFTER you've moved her Primal Glintstone into her new body in Seluvis' goon cave.

52:57 hate you From for this. I played with this weapon whole game, without guides I mean I found it. Cause it is overpowered for first location, and yes, that boss was very tuff for me, but I thought that must beat him for clearing location before go further. Hate you F, cause every other weapon in game, which list is great, was using muchly for amusement, like: "I am so strong now so I beat you with claws". Disbalanced, guys. That's why Miyazaki still want's to create something greater, than great Elden Ring. Because someone fucked up with balance (and story, hello from noname, GRRM).
suddenly everyone else is recording elden ring they are not worthy, I can't stand what will happen when someone finishes elden ring and posts it on yt pro elden ring player plays dark souls or sekiro for the first time I puke on them, I hate them all
your attitude towards this game's lore and quests is revolting. it reveals a person of low culture, disrespectful of other people's work, who has never created anything meaningful in his life. people have poured tons of talent, skill, blood and sweat into this game, but all you find valuable is gameplay, clowning around when faced with a real challenge - one that requires education, soul, empathy and intelligence, not just brainless memorization of patterns.
I honestly don't know any speedrunner that spends thousands of hours doing it who doesn't have this sort of attitude. It takes a certain mindset. You just kind of have to accept it's what they're like.
Talent and skill is missing when it comes to fixing the performance obviously. Otherwise I agree, but also everyone can enjoy it how they want. From is still getting the money regardless if ya care about lore or gameplay. Sadly the sometimes laggy controls and not registering button presses and this engine showing its age.
If you want every playthrough of yours to be 200 hours of sniffing Miyazaki's farts, you do you buddy. Some people don't have the time or patience to repeat that process multiple times over. Art isn't devalued because one person doesn't respect it, it still exists for everyone else to appreciate. The artists don't need you to bat for them, Souls has a huge lore subcommunity full of nerds that eat this shit up. It's still loved and explored, one guy talking shit and being dismissive isn't going to do any harm.

that's brutal, still stuck on 521, man idk how people can grind higher than 500 lol, i'm ng7+ but still the rune boost isn't much
Tbh, just have someome dupe 99 stacks of each rune over and over. Max stacks requires way too much farming even with min-maxing.
Should do this challenge but+ no damage run
truly more accurate tarnished😂
I did a 100% run but i didnt get every armor piece since it were to many for me.I played a Strength parry build that was super cool and fun and carryd me through all the Game had👍
The true question is can you beat @ActuallySaibot though?
Hewg: "Call me 2 Chainz"
you are the only real one, others can clean your pads
i just did this a while back and it was a combination of fun, annoying, and time consuming.

Can you level some vig so RATS don't kill you please.
You do realize that the program he's trying to get you to sign up for is that of the lonely bro who plays video games his whole life. And never really gets out to experience the world...
Why even bother starting quests that lead to different endings?
I wanted to do the same but I dont have anyone to trade weapons and armor pieces with. If anyone wants to help me with it I would appreciate it.😀
Ranni hath got the rizz in spades
Justice for Meli-Meli!
Holy shit that chat notification is annoying I might not make it through this video with that bullshit
he thinks the crimson hood is ugly
unsubbed, disliked
52:57 hate you From for this. I played with this weapon whole game, without guides I mean I found it. Cause it is overpowered for first location, and yes, that boss was very tuff for me, but I thought that must beat him for clearing location before go further.
Hate you F, cause every other weapon in game, which list is great, was using muchly for amusement, like: "I am so strong now so I beat you with claws".
Disbalanced, guys. That's why Miyazaki still want's to create something greater, than great Elden Ring. Because someone fucked up with balance (and story, hello from noname, GRRM).
👏🏻👏🏻
suddenly everyone else is recording elden ring they are not worthy, I can't stand what will happen when someone finishes elden ring and posts it on yt pro elden ring player plays dark souls or sekiro for the first time I puke on them, I hate them all
first
Dude I was first
Cringe
The fact youre arguing about it is the real cringe@R6noobo
@justjordan6560 the fact that you have the biggest npc name is cringe
@R6noobo it's not even that deep😂 be first if you wanna be
your attitude towards this game's lore and quests is revolting. it reveals a person of low culture, disrespectful of other people's work, who has never created anything meaningful in his life. people have poured tons of talent, skill, blood and sweat into this game, but all you find valuable is gameplay, clowning around when faced with a real challenge - one that requires education, soul, empathy and intelligence, not just brainless memorization of patterns.
Touch Grace bud.
I honestly don't know any speedrunner that spends thousands of hours doing it who doesn't have this sort of attitude. It takes a certain mindset. You just kind of have to accept it's what they're like.
Yeah people are so weird for doing what they want to do, and enjoying whatever they want to enjoy.
