@@octavianpopescu4776 He does shoot his greatbow, and sometimes uses Greyoll's roar. Kinda hard to notice when you're actively fighting against the dragon who chopped 2 of Placi's head off (maybe 3).
@@octavianpopescu4776 Yes. He does have some Dragon Communion incantations but he mostly just uses his greatbow, which is what he uses to fire his harpoons. Summoning him also doesn't increase the boss's HP like most summons because his sign is inside the arena (like Sif in the Manus fight in DS1) so even if he doesn't do a lot of damage the constant chip damage from him and his ability to take the aggro off you makes the fight a little easier.
@@octavianpopescu4776He does fight yeah. In one of my Bayle runs I ran out of flasks but Igon clutched it with a shot that led to a stance break and then boom we won.

Lud's heartrate always amazes me...getting into the sub 50s after fighting BAYLE is crazy. my heart would be going 150 from the adrenaline of beating him. What a superhuman.

@@-1solrak Such a shame cause I actually liked dodging his other attacks. That dumbass charge and black hole was so stupid. The charge's hitbox has something stupid like a 5-10 frame window to dodge on medium roll, and the black hole you have to run away from while dodging his attacks is also just so annoying. The entire rest of his attacks feel cool to dodge, and have fairly generous punish windows.
I love how whenever he is getting his ass beat in a fight, he just starts insulting the boss.

To clarify the “Consort” terminology, in real life it’s a marriage thing but in Elden Ring it’s kind of a catch-all for “partner”, and it seems to be a requisite for godhood, or at least ushering in a new era of history. Every time a Consort is taken by Marika it’s with a specific purpose in mind (Godfrey to defeat the Erdtree naysayers/Fire Giants, Radagon to establish a solid Golden Order religion), and Ranni takes us as Consort in her Age of Stars ending.
Miquella admired Radahn for being both strong AND kind, and thus made him promise to join him when he made his attempt at godhood, which Radahn initially agreed to (most likely under Miquella’s manipulation). Radahn later halted the movement of the stars in order to pause fate and prevent this from coming to pass, which prompted Miquella to send Malenia to kill him, so that Miquella could fully control his soul and FORCE him to join.
But of course she failed in this, and had to settle for nuking an entire landmass and waiting for him to die on his own (which only comes to pass when Jerren starts the Festival to grant him an honorable death)

I mean maybe, but every example of a consort you gave is marriage. Godfrey and marika had children, radagon and marika had children, you put a ring on rannis finger. Maybe it's not necessarily supposed to directly mean marriage, but basically every example given in game is.

Elden ring is not hard, it's punishing and abritary memorization that one shots you in a 50 hit long combo that covers your entire camera. It's just trial and error with nonseneical frame traps and unituitive attack patterns deisgned so you can't out skill anything until you've died to it 10 times. Go play ninja gaiden or sekiro for an actual hard game.
DLC final boss was the only boss who took me whole 1 week to beat it. That shit took me longer than melania. Even sekiro bosses doesn’t took that long

She is probably the least interesting Remembrance boss of this DLC anyway. But yeah, it's not a perfect edit. I would have liked to see Midra and Avatar. It also depends on if the footage was good or if Lud even went there in the first place. Editors can only do so much.

Ludwig seems like the type to make you crack before he does, Ludwig reminds me of a guy I knew in rehab. Also that boss looks like falcor from never ending story only if he took the one ring, if you summon a guy that just talks the whole time technically you obided by the challenge
I mean, its not like using summons makes the dlc that much easier, seeing as how bosses now give you no time to summon and just ignore summons 90% of the time

@@icebox1954 it isnt cope, yeah they make it easier, but when 90% of the summons are basicslly unusable bevause of how much they suck, and the good ones getting hit, combined with the aforementioned little time to summon and bosses prioritizing the player, summons make a lot less of a difference than they did in the base game.
Base game bosses in pretty much all cases as free time to summon right when you walk in, so any summon could be used, and were a bit less aggressive, meaning they take less damage overall, AND the bosses had more predictable ai and targeted summons in a regular and abusable way. The dlc bosses dont give time to summon at the start in mose cases, have very little opportunity mid fight to summon due to longer combos and less pauses between them, and deal more dps to them due to the previously mentioned longer combos wirh fewer pauses. That leads to summons dying very fast compared to the base game, and when the bosses prioritize aggro on the players, there is a lot less abuse of the traditional "hit the boss once, wait for summon to hit the boss to draw aggro, then repeat" that has been a thing through the base game
