I wouldn't be so sure... Sweep attacks? Maybe. Stomp attacks like crucible knight are as far as i remember cannot be dodged with jump because hitbox is too high or something, but i could also be mistaken so if you have any proof i'd be glad to see it.
@@kickrobotsintheballs5840 Stomp attacks that only hit the ground are different from AOE attacks that form a half sphere bubble and damage anything within it. The former is a lot more common so most stomps can be jumped and jumping provides a much greater margin for error in terms of timing as the invincibility you get in the air far outweighs the few I-Frames a roll can give you.

Arcane stat, if you level that up you will get better build up in all things on enemies, example: the bleed status effect will proc in less hits. Furthermore, it helps you get drops on enemy mobs more frequently.

I love Charlie but it drives me a bit crazy how confidently wrong he is about his build. He complains about the difficulty, usually by pointing out how some arbitrary element is causing the issue (eg. the terrain in the Adula Dragon fight), when in reality, the problem is that he's coming at the bosses at far too low of a level with an non-upgraded weapon and no points into vigor. Like, how is it even enjoyable to bang your head against the wall for an hour against even the most intentionally-straightforward bosses bc you have to cheese bleed procs in long, drawn out battles where you can't make even 1 mistake bc your build makes you a 1 hit kill against every enemy? He seems to be having fun which is all that matters, I have no interest in policing how people play. But what bothers me is that he complains about problems (or more accurately, complains about the wrong problems) when they could be solved if he didn't have all these concrete beliefs about the game/his build that are incorrect. For ex, he doesn't think weapon damage matters bc he "can only beat these bosses by [spamming] bleed", so there's "no point in upgrading weapons, it won't help." Like, dude, if you used even just some of the upgrade materials that are just wasting away in your inventory to upgrade a weapon, you wouldn't HAVE to spam bleed. Weapon upgrades are important. Vig is important. If you want to play without them, TOTALLY FINE. But it doesn't make for a very fun watch to see someone struggle for 40 minutes against a boss that isn't supposed to be hard and you only have to take to half HP bc they continue to ignore mechanics and gameplay systems designed to tailor the experience so you don't get stuck against easy bosses and the challenging ones remain challenging. The game is designed that way, all FromSoftware games have been.

I’ve watched further along in the playthru since and he gets better at learning the game before ignorantly shitting on ideas that would help him overcome the problems that he bitches about. It’s fine to play however you want to play but you have to be able to recognize the strengths and weaknesses of your build. It may not be better than Sekiro or Bloodborne, but this one i could play for a looong time. 550 hours in and I'm now addicted, no desire to play anything else
The one thing I genuinely hate with a burning passion that does nothing but ruin fun for no reason other than to invoke thoughts that are unfit for the most vile of people, is bosses despawning after walking 15 feet away from their spawn location. I genuinely think they should extend the range of the despawn or better yet just remove it entirely
@@MopaStab you could make that argument but running away ain’t cheating if the boss follows anyway. This game is so easy with how many new mechanics they’ve put in like ash summons, that people being able to run away enough to used ranged attacks on a boss really isn’t a big deal when there’s already so many other ways to cheese the game. The 2 foot range of boss despawning just does a lot more to hurt the game
@@oglungbusta3587 just because there are lots of ways to cheese, it doesn’t mean the devs should allow even more ways, I’ve never had the problem of even running 10 feet from a boss, Just stay at a decent range of your mage or get close if you are melee
The white phantoms are other players and the game is showing you bits of what they did on their play through. The red ones are visions of the deaths of other players and they appear after you click the blood stains on the ground.

The reason a lot of the bosses have a stomp attack is so you can utilize your jump to dodge it.

That’s not true at all. You still get hit by AOE when you’re slightly above the attack
