Yeah I love the sound of the obr i will have one in a few months when ive saved enough. Im running a 29.5 scott finlay at the moment but it nearly 6 years old and still on the original head and piston but I have looked after it anyway yet another blinding vid😸👍
Third! (Big fukin WUP!!) Laurent, I LOVE that Body!!! Looks like something for the Top of my list of upgrades. 🍺🍺🍺🍺👍👍 You got that Bad Boy running pretty good as well. I'm slightly jealous, because we don't have ANYTHING like that Track out here!! Carmine 💥⛽
I just watched this again! 👌👍👍 Do you think that the NINE+ Horsepower Engine had anything to do with the centre diff pin breaking!!???? 😱😨 Either way, you Drove it like you Stole it - so that was a proper day of Bashing!! 👏👏👏👏🍺🍺🍺 You should try to see if you can source Chromoly Steel or Titanium Diff Pins..... From another venue completely. Like a Shop that repairs Real Aircraft, Racecar Shops, even Go-Cart Racing Shops.... Just get the right diameter Rod, and cut to whatever lengths you might need. 😉 (To cut Titanium, you'll need a Diamond Coated, Hardened Steel Saw Blade or cutting wheel.) IF you can make that work, the Pins should out last the TRUCK!!! I'd do it for the Wheel Hub Pins as well. Carmine 💥⛽
What gearing were you running with the OBR reed, and how do the driveshafts hold up? I'm about to buy either the full mod, or the full mod/reed. Can't decide really, main factor will be if I have to spend hundreds more on Phat Dad driveshafts with the reed engine. I'll be putting it in the 5iveT 2.0, stock gearing on that is 20/62, I was thinking of running a 22T pinion
i was running stock spur with 22t i think. i did chew diffs but that could have been caused by rollover. not sure. i had a centre diff locker and i was snapping the pins in that with this engine. lot of power i know that.
@@me8u73 Ok cool, thanks mate. I'll run the 22T pinion, and only time will tell if the driveline holds up. I have all alloy diff cases, the cheap $13 Rovan ones work great in the front and rear, they've held up in just as powerful, if not more powerful brushless conversions. Centre diff is an ADI 7075 machined alloy. I'll use the same diff oil setup as recommended by RCmax with their big bores, 300k front, 1 mil centre, 500k rear

PoorManRC yeah I do believe it's the power killing the pins. If I fit a thicker pin it might cause breakage somewhere else though.
Good Point! There has to be a "sacrificial part" somewhere along the line....

@@geejayrc9401 sounds like a plan. driveline might hold up. could be up to driving style.
How much difference in power does the obr compared to the g320 re?
Its a noticeable difference. Top speed may be close but the throttle response is quicker for sure.
Would you recommend an OBR engine I’m thinking of getting one but not shaw.. can you notice a lot of difference?
Brad's Rcs if you want power get one. They do have great responsive power. Difference with a stock 32? We'll soon find out😎😎
