Introducing the 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid! Built in Huntsville, Alabama, this vehicle is a top-line XSE HYBRID AWD model, with a non-hybrid engine and front-wheel drive also available.
Here's what I've got for you in this video:

    00:42 What's Under the Hood?
01:12 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid Interior Walkaround

07:14 Is the Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid Roomy?
08:28 My Personal Thoughts on the Corolla Cross Hybrid
    09:18 An Important Warning!
The Corolla Cross Hybrid comes in a striking color called Acidic Blast and is roughly mid-pack in terms of physical size against its competition. The VW Taos and Honda HR-V are larger, while models like the Subaru Crosstrek, Mazda CX-30, Hyundai Kona, and Kia Seltos are a bit smaller when considering length and width overall.
The Corolla Cross Hybrid’s digital instrument cluster is a standout feature, and the interior design is both practical and efficient. The vehicle’s standard all-wheel drive and increased cargo room make it a great choice for those who value utility. However, unlike the Mazda CX-30 and Subaru Crosstrek, the Corolla Cross doesn’t seem to be targeting a high level of driver engagement by way of the feel at the controls.

Thanks for the review. I’ve had a top spec AWH hybrid now for 3 months. In AUS it is sold as the Atmos. It is a fabulous car to drive, great power, excellent ride quality for its size, superb front vision and amazing fuel economy. The only thing that is disappointing is the lack of a spare. In my opinion the well is big enough to hold a full sized spare but for no obvious reason Toyota positioned a plug for the rear electric motor in the well. I am not prepared to move it given the 7 year warranty. Like Canada and the US, AUS has some pretty rough country roads. We regularly travel from Brisbane to Melbourne so I purchased a spare alloy wheel and tyre from a tyre retailer. I’ve placed it in the rear (on top of the floor) luggage compartment and strapped it in. I lose some luggage space but, I can remove the spare for local trips as necessary. That set up is fine on long trips for my wife and I and perhaps one passenger and up to three medium sized bags and a mid sized esky or cooler. All said we love the car and the driving experience!

Great video! Love the shots of the suspension in action! However, not fussy on the colour of the vehicle but good review. Nice ride!

I dkn why Canadians get heated stering wheel included but not in the US. We basically get the same weather in the Midwest.

Great review Justin, I only have one question. Is it the backroads you frequent on your reviews full of potholes or are the main roads in Sudbury full of potholes. Not sure if that was one or two questions. But you always bring up Sudbury’s potholes.

Exactly the kind of review I need. My roads are bombed out too!

Thanks Mark, almost all of our roads save for the very main arteries are in terrible shape, with a few in particular near where I live being even worse than the rest.
You don't need to look far around here for a pothole that would turn your wheel into an octagon!

Wow that’s horrible for a city that size. I thought New Zealand roads were bad. Thx for that

@@markkennedy5335. Every country thinks theirs is the worst. It’s mainly a hazard for motorcyclists.

If you pull out the foam holder for the tire goop and pump is there enough room for a compact spare tire?

Good question and it depends on the car, I've heard of owners of Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sportage doing it.
I didn't check this tester specifically, but thank you for the reminder to do so in the future!

Maybe someday in the future someone will invent a spare tire that you could keep in the back of your car instead of fix-a-flat.

That’s a good idea! Also might want to include a jack and wrench, so you could change the tire roadside.

Good thinking, adding a few useful accessories like a jack and wrench certainly would allow a person to use that spare tire LOL!@@Marker-er3ro
